Ji Weitian’s heart skipped a beat!

An indescribable tremor slid through her heart.

She stared blankly at Qin Nanyu, who was not far away, spewing harsh words at her. It seed as if everyone else had vanished in that mont.

There were no noisy crowds, no lively clashing sounds.

In her eyes, there was only Qin Nanyu. This man, usually cold and venomous with words that could kill, now had a wicked smile on his lips, turning a common statent into sothing ambiguous that sounded like a love confession...

Ji Weitian’s heart missed yet another beat, not even noticing the little one driving the car to the side.

She felt herself drawing closer and closer to Qin Nanyu, until she finally stopped right in front of him...

"Mommy, we lost," the little one in her arms grumbled, not quite satisfied.

Ji Weitian suddenly snapped back to reality, hurriedly shifted her gaze away from Qin Nanyu, and picked up the little one to comfort him.

"It’s okay, it’s just a ga. You’re so smart, next ti we’ll try harder, and we’ll definitely win!"

"But you were looking at Daddy the whole ti, you didn’t look at ," the little one said, his voice filled with loss.

Ji Weitian: "..."

Was it really that obvious?

She had only glanced at Qin Nanyu one extra ti.

Ji Weitian blinked guiltily, not daring to look at Qin Nanyu again, and walked out of the venue with her son in her arms.

The evening sun cast its remaining glow across the land.

The light orange light bathed the playful amusent park, as if coating it with a dreamy layer.

After strolling and playing for half the day, the little one in Ji Weitian’s arms was already tired, dozing off on her shoulder.

The crew was also getting ready to wrap up. Ji Weitian checked with them and confird that the filming was over for the day, then walked back towards Qin Nanyu with the little one.

"Tomorrow is Monday, and we don’t have to record the show. Let’s switch the kids back."

Qin Nanyu didn’t respond, his dark eyes shrouded with a deep light, quietly watching her, as if trying to remind Ji Weitian of sothing.

For instance, their bet earlier.

Noticing that Ji Weitian didn’t realize, he flatly broke the silence, "Yaoyao and I just won."

Ji Weitian: "???"

"Racing, we won," Qin Nanyu added, seeing that she really intended to renege. His voice grew heavier, word by word, "You agreed yourself, if we won, you all would co with ."

Ji Weitian finally understood and blinked, "That was just to tease the kids. You can’t be serious? Tomorrow is a workday; not only do we have to work, but Ruirui and Yaoyao also have to go to kindergarten. It would be troubleso if we don’t switch the kids back earlier..."

"I am serious," Qin Nanyu suddenly interjected, cutting off Ji Weitian’s words.

Ji Weitian paused abruptly, her face a mixture of surprise and confusion as she stared at the man before her, telling her he was serious.

The earnestness in his expression made it seem like he was the youngest baby among them.

If she refused to accept a lost bet, it might hurt his young, pure heart... Ji Weitian felt crazy for even thinking about tiptoeing to pat his head, to coddle him like a little baby.

She almost blurted out for him to be good and wait for her to co and play with him next weekend.

Ji Weitian was grateful that she still possessed so sense to control herself from reaching out towards his head. Otherwise, if Qin Nanyu discovered her inner thoughts, he might break her hand!
