Ji Weitian: "...?!"??

Ji Weitian stared with an expression of seeing a ghost at the man spouting nonsense to the cara.

What did he an by "his daughter"?

Didn’t his conscience hurt when he lied with his eyes wide open?

In a whoosh, Ji Weitian stood up from the chair, just about to step forward, when the next second, all the caras on set swiftly turned towards her.

Including all the staff mbers in the room, who all sported shocked expressions as if they had been struck by lightning, gawking at her.

It was just shy of directly asking her what her secret affair with Qin Nanyu was.

"There’s been a misunderstanding, it’s not what everyone imagines... Give so ti to organize my thoughts, I can explain!" Ji Weitian said, full of a sense of crisis.

Her mind was filled with mories of the ’wife fans’ of Qin Nanyu she had seen in the live broadcast that day.

Ji Weitian worried that if she didn’t clarify things imdiately, she might literally be drowned in criticism when the show aired!

Before Ji Weitian could recover, Qin Nanyu, seemingly intent on opposing her, suddenly said, "Your son is about to fall."

"Ruirui!"

Ji Weitian’s mind didn’t have ti to think, as her body had already swiftly turned around to pick up the little guy from the chair.

She imdiately found out that the little guy was sitting well on the chair, totally fine!

Except that being suddenly picked up with such force left him a bit confused.

"..." Ji Weitian gritted her teeth and fiercely glared at Qin Nanyu, catching sight of a wicked smirk playing on his lips, wishing she could punch the smile right off his face.

Suddenly, she realized sothing and turned her head to face everyone.

"Yes, what Qin Nanyu said is correct. Ruirui is now my son; we are recording a show after all. Since the children have been swapped, as a responsible father or mother, of course, I would treat his child as my own."

Ji Weitian suddenly let out a sigh of relief.

A perfect explanation.

It also justified Qin Nanyu’s earlier act of holding Little Glutinous Rice Dumpling and formally introducing his daughter.

That made sense.

But what kind of person was the director?

Soone used to seeing all sorts of dramas, he could spot whether it was acting or genuine emotion very clearly!

To say there wasn’t so unknown scandal between these two, he’d never believe!

If it were soone else, he would likely have delved deeper to create effects for the show, but unfortunately, since the other party was Qin Nanyu, as much as he wanted to gossip, he didn’t have the guts.

Catching a glimpse of impatience flickering briefly across Qin Nanyu’s face, he promptly changed the topic.

"Today’s initial filming is finally over. To foster better understanding between the two participating families, our crew has specially booked a spot in the neighboring restaurant. Young Master Yu and Miss Ji can head there to dine while exchanging small details that need attention in the daily lives of each other’s children, allowing the ’novice dad’ and the ’novice mom’ to better care for each other’s children."

Hearing this, Qin Nanyu, carrying his daughter, took the lead out of the room.

Ji Weitian followed him, holding her son.

It was undeniable; the arrangent by the show’s crew was quite thoughtful.

Allowing the parents of the two families to et first and exchange insights on child-rearing could avoid many problems.

They were the last family to arrive at the restaurant.

On one side of the restaurant, among the five tables booked by the show’s crew, four were already occupied.

Everyone was exchanging ideas on raising and educating their children, and the atmosphere seed very harmonious.

That was until Qin Nanyu appeared—the atmosphere suddenly beca sowhat different—
