Ji Weitian: "???"
Why was Qin Nanyu here?
Just delivering a batch of equipnt, did it really require the president himself to show up?
Ji Weitian hadn’t yet co to her senses when the dean already waved at her, "Weitian, what are you standing there for? Co down quickly, I have sothing to discuss with you."
Ji Weitian didn’t bother saying anything to the delivery man and turned to go downstairs. When she got there, she found that it wasn’t just the dean and Qin Nanyu, but also a few teachers responsible for the experintal building.
Beside Qin Nanyu stood a few people she didn’t recognize at all.
Judging by their attire, they looked like researchers.
What was going on?
"Now that everyone’s here, let formally introduce President Qin to you. These folks are the main administrators of our Jiangcheng University experintal building. They handle the daily managent and maintenance of the labs," the dean said, shifting his gaze to Ji Weitian.
"This is Ji Weitian from our Academic Affairs Office. President Qin t her at a previous exchange eting, but I’m sure he doesn’t know that Weitian isn’t just our staff mber at the Academic Affairs Office. She’s also a graduate of Jiangcheng University and, technically, your junior alumna!"

Qin Nanyu, who had maintained a blank expression, slightly raised his eyes upon hearing the words "junior alumna."
A clear light of surprise flashed in his eyes.
Looking at Ji Weitian standing before him, his gaze beca mocking, as if saying, was she really once a junior in the sa departnt as him, and not soone who accidentally wandered in from the performing arts departnt?
Ji Weitian noticed the mocking light in his eyes. Even without thinking, she knew he was probably mocking her internally. Originally, she wanted to thank him for his generosity in helping Jiangcheng University solve its lab equipnt issues, but now she decided to take back her gratitude.
Out of respect for the dean, she decided not to argue with him!
The dean continued with the introductions, "These are researchers from Qin Technology Group. They plan to conduct a new project at Jiangcheng University in the future. We’ll also select outstanding ntors and students to participate in the project. More details will be provided in a docunt later. Weitian, for this project, you will act as the liaison and coordinate the work between both parties."
After the dean’s concluding remarks, he didn’t notice the bewildered expression on Ji Weitian’s face as he turned gratefully to shake hands with Qin Nanyu.
"We appreciate President Qin’s willingness to invest in research at his alma mater. On behalf of Jiangcheng University, we welco and thank you!"
"Director, you’re too kind. Being able to collaborate with excellent ntors and students from my alma mater is an honor for Qin Technology Group," Qin Nanyu said modestly.
Their conversation was full of joy, and no one noticed the twitching corners of Ji Weitian’s mouth.
Ji Weitian, still bewildered, watched as Qin Nanyu instructed the people he brought to go to the lab to adjust the equipnt. She was still in disbelief when the dean, after giving her the task, was about to leave... She finally snapped out of it and hurried to catch up!
"Director, Director, wait for ..." Ji Weitian ran up to the dean, about to say sothing, but the words got stuck in her throat.
What was she supposed to say?
That she opposed Jiangcheng University collaborating with Qin Technology Group on research projects just because she disliked Qin Nanyu?
Even she thought that sounded ridiculous.
Jiangcheng University was a fertile ground for research. So many ntors and students lacked not the ability but the opportunity to showcase it. Collaborating with Qin Technology Group would not only expedite the production and market validation of developed products but also solve the issues of funding and equipnt in research...
