"Pfft—" Ji Weitian, staring at the monitor screen and just having sipped so water, sprayed it onto the screen in fright at Qin Nanyu’s words.
Panicked, she fumbled for tissues to wipe the screen.

Catching the edge of his desk, she managed to brace herself and poked her head from the other side, looking at him with eyes full of reproach.

"Boss, Miss Ji, she..." The assistant had just sent Su Sui off and was in a hurry to co in and report sothing. Seeing Ji Weitian "hanging" in a bizarre pose in front of Qin Nanyu’s desk, appearing as if she could pounce at any mont, choked back his words.

He turned and left, gently closing the door behind him.
Ji Weitian didn’t turn around, staring straight at the person before her, she said somberly, "Qin Nanyu, I heard everything just now."

"Hmm, so? Did you co here specifically to thank ?" Qin Nanyu saw her appear and was montarily surprised before quickly guessing the assistant must have invited her. His face remained calm.
Seeing her puffed-up angry look, the corners of his mouth unconsciously curled up in a barely perceptible smile.
He felt the urge to reach out and poke her face.
