"Qin Nanyu, what are you doing? If you don’t let go right now, I’m going to scream for help!"

"I just helped your team solve a problem. Even though you didn’t thank , isn’t it a bit too much to take my life while I’m sick?"

"Can’t you be a little more gentlemanly..."

Before Ji Weitian could finish, she realized she had been put down.

Qin Nanyu had actually carried her downstairs, and parked in front of her was his car.

The assistant was getting out of the driver’s seat, opening the car door for them.

Ji Weitian, clutching her waist, took a frightened step backward.

Forgetting that Qin Nanyu was standing right behind her, she backed into him and was once again steadied by his hand on her shoulder.

Holding her up with one hand, as if she were a little chick.

"Get in the car, I’m taking you to the hospital."

Hearing the word ’hospital’ made Ji Weitian’s hair stand on end, "No need, I just bumped my waist against a chair, I’ll just go ho and rub so dicinal oil on it, and I’ll be fine."

Qin Nanyu didn’t give her a chance to refuse, the assistant opened the car door, and he stuffed Ji Weitian into the car.

Just as Ji Weitian was about to get out on the other side, that strikingly handso face suddenly appeared before her, startling her so much that she shrank back into the car.

Her back hit the seat, and her waist hurt even more.

She nearly cursed out loud.

She watched, wide-eyed, as Qin Nanyu bent down and sat in the car next to her.

Just like that, she was ’kidnapped’ to the hospital, registered, and seen by a doctor.

And it was an expert appointnt that usually couldn’t be booked at all.

After the examination and X-rays, they returned to the doctor’s office.

"No bones injured, but there’s soft tissue damage. It’s best not to load your waist with weight for the next few days, minimize bending over to avoid aggravating the condition. I’ll prescribe so blood-activating and stasis-dispelling dicine, pair it with massage, and just rest well for a few days."

"I said I was fine, but you had to bring to the hospital," Ji Weitian murmured in a small, white-faced voice, shrinking slightly in the chair.

The surrounding air was filled with the sll of disinfectant.

She hated that sll.

Upon hearing her words, the old doctor prescribing her dicine paused, pushed up his glasses, and said in a deep voice, "Young lady, you can’t conceal illness and avoid dical treatnt. What looks like a minor ailnt now can easily turn into sothing serious if you’re not careful. When you get older, you’ll understand the hardship."

The old doctor pointed with his pen to Qin Nanyu, who was standing behind Ji Weitian.

"In this regard, your husband is doing very well, knowing how to care for his wife. Ah, young man, I’m rooting for you!"

Ji Weitian: "???"

Just as Ji Weitian was about to say they were not a couple, the old doctor had finished writing the prescription and told her to go get the dicine.

Ji Weitian took the prescription, about to say sothing, but was led out of the examination room by Qin Nanyu.

Standing in the corridor, she looked down at the prescription in her hand, then up at Qin Nanyu in front of her, her brows knotted in a line, and she earnestly complained, "That doctor’s eyesight isn’t very good."

"Really? I think he made a lot of sense," Qin Nanyu said lightly, with one hand in his pocket and taking the prescription from her hand with the other.

Ji Weitian’s eyes widened, "Let’s forget about the dical craziness, but to think he mistook us two for... Never mind, I should just hurry and get the dicine and go ho."

How could a girl as pure and kind as herself look like the wife of Qin Nanyu, a person so notoriously villainous?

Impossible!

Ji Weitian turned and walked towards the pharmacy, but before she could take a step, Qin Nanyu’s hand was already on her shoulder.

"Wait."
