"No one said that a computer that’s been waterlogged is guaranteed to be damaged."

"Even if the computer is broken, the data might still be recoverable."

Ji Weitian’s words reminded everyone present.

They had all been thrown into disarray by Qian Min, each only thinking about taking responsibility, forgetting that there might still be a chance for redy.

At this mont, they all turned to look at Qian Min.

"No way! I can’t give you the computer, you’re biased against . What if you take the opportunity to destroy my data and then put the bla on ?" Qian Min, nervous, clutched the computer to her chest, unwilling to hand it over to Ji Weitian.

Her eyes were full of wariness.

It seed she didn’t trust Ji Weitian, but in fact, she was already panicking.

Especially since Qin Nanyu had been there from the get-go and had yet to say a word.

Even though he looked cold, he hadn’t spoken up to bla her, as if he believed her words. But if he truly believed her, he should have pursued Ji Weitian’s responsibility.

What if Ji Weitian actually managed to recover the data...

No! Absolutely not!

"In this lab, everyone is an expert in this field. With so many people watching, even if I wanted to tamper with it, soone would notice. Do you think I’m that stupid? Or are you the one who’s feeling guilty and afraid to hand the computer over to ?"

Ji Weitian stood upright, her gaze forward, her face calm with a confident gleam flickering in her eyes.

That kind of shine, like the twinkling stars in the night sky.

Qian Min: "Why would I be nervous? I’m worried you’re not skilled enough and might damage my computer..."

"If you don’t trust Teacher Ji, then give it to ," another colleague in the lab offered.

There was no shortage of talent in the room, and many understood data recovery.

"Or you can give it to . I’ve specifically taken courses on computer data recovery, and I’ve often helped classmates with this before," another colleague chid in.

More and more people started urging Qian Min to hand over the computer.

Qian Min’s face turned sowhat pale, her fingers white from gripping the computer.

It seed like she finally realized she couldn’t avoid it, and slowly handed the computer to the person next to her. But just as they reached out to take it, she released the computer a step too quickly.

"Oh no!" A cry followed, and the computer rapidly fell.

Having been waterlogged, if it got a knock like that, it would probably be even harder to recover the data.

Just when Qian Min’s lips curled into a smug smile, thinking she would succeed, Qin Nanyu, who had been watching everything with a detached air, acted as if he had anticipated sothing.

With a swift motion, before the laptop could hit the ground, he caught it steadily.

"President Qin!" Qian Min looked incredulously at Qin Nanyu who had suddenly appeared before her. Her face turned drastically sour when her gaze fell on the notebook he held in his hands.

When she ca to her senses and tried to reclaim her computer, Qin Nanyu simply raised his hand, avoiding her touch.

He turned and walked toward Ji Weitian, handing the computer to her.

He spoke lightly, "Your turn."

"..." Ji Weitian was so stunned by the scene before her, she was montarily at a loss.

What astonished her the most was that Qin Nanyu hadn’t believed Qian Min’s words and had even given the computer to her.

Qin Nanyu stood tall today at eight feet!

Ji Weitian smiled as she took the computer, then turned and walked to the nearest table to begin working.

Since the power had been cut as soon as the computer waterlogged, the data damage was minimal. Right in front of everyone, Ji Weitian restored the data on Qian Min’s computer.
