Ji Weitian couldn’t push Qin Nanyu away, she hit him once, only to hear him grunt, but he still didn’t let her go.

Thinking this, Ji Weitian started to inwardly curse Qin Nanyu.
If she were to die, she’d co back as a vengeful ghost to haunt him.

Just before she could take her last breath, Qin Nanyu released her, propping himself on the table, leaning down to stare at her pale face.
He didn’t speak, just stood there, fixated on her.
He looked just like one of those vampires often seen in movies, eerily unsettling.
Thinking of how she had been taken advantage of made Ji Weitian’s anger greater than her fear, regaining her senses, she raised her hand to slap him, but missed.
Ji Weitian squinted her eyes, and attempted to kick him.
Qin Nanyu turned to dodge, but the effect of the alcohol made his movents sluggish, and he uncontrollably fell to the side.
Just as Ji Weitian was about to deliver another kick, her wrist was suddenly grabbed by him, pulling her down with him to the ground.
And she ended up in Qin Nanyu’s arms!

She turned her head and spotted the anti-wolf spray on the ground, reflexively reaching for it, just missing it by inches, when Qin Nanyu rolled over, pinning her to the ground, tightly holding down her arms and tilting his head close to her.
At that mont, Ji Weitian truly panicked.

"I hate birthdays," Qin Nanyu’s expression was somber as he slowly said.

He repeated it seriously twice, his head slightly lowering, burying into Ji Weitian’s hair, the faint fragrance of Gardenia acting like the best tranquilizer.
It was very familiar, very comforting.
"Don’t move, just let hold you for a while, just for a little while."
He was like a child, highly dependent.
Gradually, his breathing steadied.
Then, he fell into a stable sleep.
"Qin Nanyu? Qin Nanyu?"
Ji Weitian called out twice but got no response, she was really going insane.
What was he thinking, getting drunk and not going ho but instead causing trouble here?
Ji Weitian tried to withdraw her arms, but the drunk man was incredibly heavy, like a huge burden.

Feeling the pain, Qin Nanyu subconsciously swung his hand, and just as Ji Weitian was trying to get up, a strong arm reached out and held her.
