After getting off the plane, everyone was led to the familiar coach bus.

"You didn’t lose sleep last night because you were too stressed, did you?"

Luo Ting knew Jiang Mian could sleep, but seeing her sleep as soon as she lay down was a first.

People who didn’t know might think she was intentionally going against Director Xu.

At this mont, the stylist was helping her tidy her slightly disheveled hair. Jiang Mian glanced at the mirror, "How could I possibly be stressed?"

"Could it be that today you’re going to et..."

"Stop! Enough."

There were other people around.

Luo Ting noticed the slight change in Jiang Mian’s expression and imdiately understood.

"It’s okay, I know all about it. Don’t worry, you’ll see him soon enough, no need for insomnia."

"..."

If it hadn’t been for that jerk randomly sending a "good night" and "see you tomorrow" before going to bed last night, would she have thought about it all night?

Which led to her having dark circles under her eyes at the audition today, luckily, there wasn’t any big problem.

They say won are the downfall of dynasties but n can be too!!

After making sure her makeup and styling were fine, Jiang Mian got on the bus.

The bus was already filled with familiar voices of discussion.

"You guys ca quite early."

Yu Xinting greeted Jiang Mian to sit next to her.

It seed she had recovered quite fast.

The relationships among everyone were evidently more familiar than the first ti they sat on the coach bus.

"Sister Mianmian, you’ve managed to annoy Director Xu again."

Jiang Mian glanced at Director Xu, who just boarded the bus, and chuckled lightly, "How could I dare? If I annoyed him, he’d end up giving you guys so weird topics for popularity again."

"..."

The whole place suddenly quieted down.

Jiang Mian looked around at the people, "Did my words hit the mark?"

Is it that magical?

It hasn’t been blessed or anything.

She took out her phone and saw the trending hashtag #JiangMianWakeUp#.

Jiang Mian narrowed her eyes and looked at the sowhat smug Director Xu, "Was that really necessary? Must have cost a good amount of money. Better spent on my appearance fee."

Director Xu, "Of course, it’s necessary. We have to spend that money, not spending it would be unfair to all the hardship you endured sleeping."

He thought this remark would choke Jiang Mian, but she simply didn’t play by the rules.

With arms crossed naturally, she responded, "Indeed, it was tough, the ride was so bumpy. And kudos to Director Xu for having watched sleep all the way, a sight nobody else got to see."

"Ha ha ha ha ha."

No one could hold back and they burst out laughing.

"If you had this energy, better rest up. What follows won’t be so easy."

[Jiang Mian really has a sharp tongue]

[Arrogant and self-loving, yet sowhat amusing]

[Suddenly realized they aren’t awkward anymore haha, their first eting was really cringy]

[I’m already looking forward to what happens next]

...

They bounced around for a long ti and arrived at the familiar base entrance.

Just when everyone was getting ready to get off, the bus didn’t stop.

"Hmm? What’s going on?"

"Aren’t we there yet? The production team must have so tricks up their sleeve again."

As the base moved farther away from them, the coach drove deeper.

"You guys are ssing with us again."

A staff mber on the bus shook their head: "It’s confidential."

It was like they hadn’t asked at all.

The mood of everyone started to grow restless until the coach turned a corner.

The once endless land suddenly was dotted with patches of green.

It looked a bit like the forests of a primitive tribe.

Soon the coach stopped, and everyone got off one after another.

In front of the forest, a line of familiar figures stood.
