As Sophia was having breakfast, Zoe Walsh and Autumn Lowell arrived, accompanied by Teacher Hale.

"You’ve all co? Why so early? Have you had breakfast? Co and have so, there’s plenty of seafood porridge in the pot!" Sophia quickly stood up.

After all, Zane started simring it at five in the morning, it’d be a waste not to eat it.

Besides, there’s a big pot of it.

"Sit, sit! No need to get up, I told Aunt Sutton last night we’d be coming over today, specially here to mooch breakfast." Zoe laughed as she pulled Teacher Hale and Autumn over.

Sophia chuckled.

It was your own son who made it, you should really taste his cooking.

Aunt Sutton took out bowls and chopsticks from the kitchen.

No wonder today’s breakfast is so much, she was thinking of packing so to take to the studio later.

"I forgot to tell you last night that I’d be coming this morning, I thought I’d ntion it in the evening, but I was afraid you’d be asleep." Zoe sat down beside Sophia.

"It’s okay, Mom."

Sophia didn’t mind, instantly feeling the place was lively, it seed this was the first ti the villa was so lively.

"You’re not planning to go dressed like that, are you? Change into sothing else before you go later," Autumn looked at Sophia with disdain.

She was just wearing a casual sports outfit.

"Are you planning to dress up all pretty and then sell ?" Sophia smirked slightly, "You are my real moms, after all."

Teacher Hale listened from the side and chuckled, slowly sipping the porridge.

While abroad, Autumn often interacted with Teacher Hale, occasionally bumping into Zoe.

Zoe naturally knew that Faye Ellison was Teacher Hale’s son.

Faye’s open and secret rivalry, Teacher Hale sotis saw signs of it, but wasn’t very sure.

After breakfast, Zoe took people upstairs to change clothes.

Autumn took Teacher Hale for a stroll in the backyard.

"What kind is this?" Teacher Hale looked down.

"These are tulips, Sophia has loved plants since she was little," Autumn laughed, "I heard the seeds were shipped from abroad, Zane planted them himself. They’ve been having a little argunt lately, but as a couple, things are never perfectly smooth, there will always be so bickering."

"Zane put his heart into it." Teacher Hale nodded, "I wish my rascal had Zane’s dedication."

Autumn paused, "Ellison’s quite good, I’ll introduce him soday."

"That’s a good idea, but I’ve heard he likes soone."

"What girls are there around him? Just Ariel and Sophia."

"..." Teacher Hale wanted to say sothing, suddenly paused, seed to realize sothing astonishing.

Recalling recent events, it felt like her son’s gaze at Sophia was sowhat unusual, different from Hugh Irving’s or anyone else’s.

So, the person he liked was Sophia?

He seed to have said that the person he liked was right beside him, only she hadn’t fallen for him yet.

If that’s truly the case, it’s outrageously inappropriate!

Sophia is already married, now pregnant too, no matter what Faye Ellison did, it’s wrong!

Teacher Hale looked startled, was Autumn hinting at her?

Autumn seed to sense Teacher Hale’s change in expression, knowing her health situation, didn’t say more.

Upstairs, Zoe was wandering in her dressing room.

"Zane bought you so many dresses, why haven’t I seen you wear many? Don’t you approve of his taste?" Zoe teased.

An entire dressing room was mostly Sophia’s dresses, and a small compartnt specifically for her camisoles.

As Zoe reached to open it, Sophia pushed the door shut, not letting her open it.

If she knew her son had a habit of having people wear little dresses to bed with him, she’d die of embarrassnt!

"Mom, with so many dresses, one a day, you couldn’t wear them all in a year." Sophia smiled, pursing her lips.

Zoe saw her little uneasy gesture, glanced at the small compartnt, didn’t open it, but started picking dresses beside her.

"Is there a party today?" Sophia couldn’t help asking.

"It’s not really a party, just so sisters inviting us to flower arranging. I’ve noticed your studio hasn’t been busy lately, so I thought we’d go out for a breather."

Zoe took out a floral camisole dress and held it against her.

She’s only a little over a month pregnant, not showing at all, you wouldn’t know she’s pregnant without being told.

"I see..." Sophia looked at the dress in her hands, fully cooperating.

Zoe picked up a white satin dress, with faint white patterns printed on it.

"How about this one?" she picked it up and looked her up and down.

Sophia glanced at it, said nothing, but her earlobes started turning red.

This dress was bought by Zane.

When she tried it on for him, he hugged her from behind, held her close, whispered softly in her ear, "Actually wearing it, it probably feels good."

Later that night she wore this dress, his large palm went up from the hem.

Zoe saw her face turning blush red, couldn’t help asking, "Is the air conditioning too strong?"

"No." Sophia shook her head slightly, pulling her thoughts back.

"Let’s just wear this one, it’s beautiful!"

Mother and son think alike, their taste matched too.

Sophia could only nod.

When Sophia changed into the dress and ca out, Zoe was fiddling with a small box beside her.

"What’s this?" Sophia adjusted her shoulder strap as she walked over.

Zoe held her hand, bringing her to sit at the dressing table.

"I’ve wanted to do this for a long ti. Zane keeps such a tight watch on you, he wishes he could tie you to him, no chance to have a heart-to-heart with you." Zoe opened the box, taking out a pendant of erald.

Sophia barely glanced at it and knew, this pendant wasn’t cheap, she’d seen it at the auction a while ago, she’d wanted it too, but as the bidding skyrocketed, she backed off.

Later, it was said to be bought by a mysterious man, how did it end up here?

Could it have been Eugene Sterling who snatched it?

"Mom, this pendant is too valuable!" Worth tens of millions!

Wearing it felt like hanging millions around her neck, parading for all to see.

Especially on Sophia, who rarely wore expensive jewelry, she looked like a nouveau riche!

She turned aside to stop her.

Zoe pressed her down, "Sit tight for !"

She didn’t leave room for argunt as she hung the pendant around her neck. Her fair swan-like neck was graced with radiance, strands of hair lazily draped, looking both relaxed and noble.

"You are the daughter-in-law of The Sterling Family, only it is worthy of you! The Sterling Family’s daughter-in-law shouldn’t be so frugal," Zoe said to herself, "Besides, I don’t think I’ve given you a proper gift, let’s consider this a present for the baby."

Sophia looked at herself in the mirror, recalling last year when Zane stood behind her, putting on a ring necklace for her, his hands trembling.

She smiled lightly, her thoughts grew heavy.
