"So you also want to prove my strength? No problem at all, but let make it clear beforehand, my warriors are not very good at holding back. If your fleet suffers heavy losses, I won’t take responsibility," Isrile said.

"Easy to say, it’s no big deal!" the Emperor replied with a laugh.

Lately, Isrile’s Phantom Warship had remained docked near the Hong En Empire’s star sector, seemingly inactive. On the surface, nothing seed unusual, but internally it was bustling with activity. Isrile had previously accompanied Bronk in raiding nurous Azure Sky Empire factories and seized various chanical processing equipnt. This wasn’t just for fun but was part of a real plan.

In middle planes, the main ans of interstellar war are warships. Once war breaks out, it’s all about who has the better warships, followed by landings on planets for ground battles. Hence, interstellar warfare played an extrely important role in this plane.

Given its importance, Isrile naturally took it seriously.

The good news was that as Long Yi’s contracted servant, Isrile had learned quite a bit from him. In fact, before Long Yi had left, he shared much of his knowledge with each of his contracted servants. It might co in handy soday, and now was the ti to put that knowledge to use.

With the help of the Phantom Warship’s special life form capable of fusing with machinery, Isrile had created a series of armors suited for cosmic combat, tailored specifically for her Giant Beast warriors. Many of Isrile’s Giant Beasts were completely incapable of fighting in space since they couldn’t breathe or move freely in the vacuum. The armors were designed to solve these problems. The Giant Beasts had terrifying levels of energy supply, which, when transford by the special chanism within the armor, provided astonishing power and weaponry. Isrile equipped the Giant Beasts with imposing caliber ship cannons and, after a series of trainings, these giants easily mastered the techniques of cosmic combat.

In fact, Isrile also wanted to test the effectiveness of these armors through battle. Ruosha’s incident in the Azure Sky Empire provided just the right excuse.

Bronk’s admiration for Isrile truly reached new heights this ti. He had never imagined that these Giant Beasts could acquire the capability for space warfare by equipping them with armors. These beasts already possessed intelligence, and operating the runes on the armors beca as simple as instinct after undergoing the fusion with the life machinery. The rest was left to the beasts’ instincts in combat. By Bronk’s estimation, the armors increased the combat power of the Giant Beasts by several tis!

Of course, it’s easy to claim such things.

Only battle is the standard to judge everything.

The Hong En Imperial Army had made comprehensive preparations for this battle. Unlike the Azure Sky Empire, the Hong En Empire’s army was firmly in the Emperor’s grasp, so this exercise was essentially the Emperor’s intention. After all, previous battles with Isrile had always ended with her withdrawal, without much head-on conflict. This made the Hong En Emperor rather uneasy, especially after Ruosha easily defeated the Azure Sky fleet, heightening his concerns. If this Giant Beast Empress was one to only flee, the mont war broke out and she ran, it would an doom for my Hong En Empire.

Therefore, an exercise to test real strength was very necessary.

Within the vast and empty starfield, the Hong En Empire’s fleet was arrayed early on. Far away, the Phantom Warship also remained stationary, not entering a stealth state.

"Your Majesty, what tactics shall we use today?" Bronk asked in the bridge.

"Tactics?" Isrile laughed, "To prove strength, tactics are useless. Today, we fight head-on!"

Five thousand fully-ard Giant Beasts roared as they surged out of the Phantom Warship. They varied in size, but runes on their armors flickered with dazzling light!

"Heavyweight Giants in front to block the cannons, heavy artillery attack from behind, high-speed lee prepare to flank and cut through their back ranks! Tear them apart for !"

Isrile issued a command and the Giant Beasts’ armor imdiately generated a trendous thrust, propelling them forward at high speed!

Compared to battleships, Giant Beasts were far more agile! They didn’t have to worry about energy output because they could generate energy themselves!

In the vastness of space, those Giant Beasts equipped with heavy shields were at the forefront. Behind the shields, Giant Beasts with massive cannons constantly fired, engaging in a barrage with the battleships. To the sides, so other armored Giant Beasts lurked outside of the range of the ship cannons, watching eagerly. Although slightly smaller, they were more nimble, ready to charge in and board the ships at any mont.

At first, the Hong En troops scorned this formation because, in their eyes, charging headlong into artillery fire was tantamount to suicide. Did they really think our powerful ship cannons couldn’t break through their mana shields?

However, it didn’t take long for them to realize that their formidable ship cannons indeed couldn’t break through the shields upheld by the Giant Beasts!

Isrile’s shields, derived from Giant technology, were far more efficient than ordinary mana shields. Supported by the Giant Beasts, mana flowed endlessly. Moreover, given that the Giant Beasts were constantly in motion, the already low hit rate of the ship cannons naturally couldn’t achieve a saturation attack. For several reasons, the Legion of Giant Beasts advanced nearly unimpeded!

Once they reached a certain area, the runes all over the heavy Giant Beasts lit up and their armor seamlessly assembled, as they rushed straight towards the battleships! Seeing the Giant Beasts coming, the battleships had no choice but to concentrate all their firepower on the heavy Giant Beasts charging towards them. anwhile, the lee-range Giant Beasts on the periphery imdiately pounced forward. At the sa ti, those Giant Beasts with heavy firepower also began to fire freely, covering the charging Giant Beasts.

These heavy Giant Beasts had terrifyingly solid shields, especially during the charge, when the heavy Giant Beasts would convert all their energy into shields to withstand the oncoming fire and the impending impact.

These Giant Beasts inherently contained terrifying energy, and when all this energy was converted into shields, even the ship cannons struggled to break through. Even if they eventually managed to break through the Giant Beasts, the purpose of the Giant Beasts was achieved. Under the cover of these heavy beasts, the high-speed Giant Beasts had already reached the outskirts of the battleships, reaching the dead zones that the ship cannons could not attack. They used their sharp claws to tear open the armor of the battleships, then burrowed inside. Once the Giant Beasts infiltrated, the crew mbers inside the battleships had no chance to fight back—they could only surrender.

A few battleships that disbelieved in the effectiveness of concentration of fire upon the Giant Beasts paid a severe price when they were ramd by a Giant Beast that left a huge gash in the hull. The enormous negative pressure pulled out so unlucky soldiers, who could barely maintain themselves with magic for a short ti, but the battleship itself was totally lost.

The situation throughout the battlefield was mostly the sa; Isrile’s tactics were very simple and crude. But faced with these tactics, the Hong En Empire’s fleet had no chance to resist.

In the end, the Emperor of Hong En accepted the outco quite obediently. In fact, this was sothing the Emperor of Hong En had quite wanted to see.

One couldn’t help but wonder, though, whether these Giant Beasts would be able to exhibit their true strength when facing Ruosha’s Nightmare Knights.

To this question, Isrile provided a very modest answer,

"Ruosha is strong, being from the Watcher Clan that has been passed down since the era of Giants. Both Ruosha and her Nightmare Knights possess fearso strength far beyond your imagination. However, as a life evolved by the hand of Giants, the knowledge and potential I hold are beyond her catch forever. That is, if my demands are t!"

The Emperor of Hong En clearly understood that Isrile was naming her price. Without hesitation, the Emperor of Hong En agreed. In this Plane, where other Empires had to face the formidable threat of Ruosha, he now had the assistance of the Empress of Giant Beasts. If the Empress of Giant Beasts could truly defeat Ruosha, the whole power dynamics of the Plane’s combat forces would be rewritten instantly! Without Ruosha, the Empress of Giant Beasts would beco the strongest, and since she would be the strongest, it was natural she would help the Hong En Empire to beco the strongest as well!

This Plane would no longer be under Azure Sky! (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit qidian to vote for it or donate a monthly ticket. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read on m.qidian.)
