Upon learning of this unpredictable turn of events, the Azure Sky Emperor was so enraged that he fiercely slapped his worthless son three tis before directly confining him.

This really was a case of whatever you’re afraid of coming to find you! It had taken such an effort to send those two scourges packing, and just when he thought to take advantage of the respite to consider his strategy, one sentence from his son had brought her back!

However, there was also a piece of good news—The Giant Beast Empress had not returned; she remained within the territory of the Hong En Empire’s space. It seed the Giant Beast Empress had taken quite a liking to the equipnt of the Hong En Empire.

Regardless, the enemy’s strength had at least been reduced by half. It seed that from another aspect, it could be proven that Ruosha, the controller of the Nightmare Knights, and the Giant Beast Empress Isrile were probably not of the sa ilk.

At this ti, within the Plane, every Empire with even a little strength strictly ordered their officials, both big and small, to speak cautiously and carefully. For super Empires like the Azure Sky and Hong En Empires with many planets, letting the Nightmare Knight’s Whitestar consu one or two was no big deal. However, for a regular Empire, losing a planet to them could an complete annihilation!

As such, the number of boasters within the Empire quickly diminished, which actually helped to reform the internal atmosphere of the Empire.

Adhering to the principle that the troublemaker must be responsible for the issues caused, the Azure Sky Emperor appointed his idiot son as the Chief Commander of the campaign against the Nightmare Knights.

"Go, reclaim the honor you’ve lost for yourself! If you can’t retrieve it, then die for the Empire and save us from further embarrassnt!"

At that mont, Fang Zuo was in the flagship of the fleet, his mind echoing with his father’s voice. His jaw was faintly aching—the Emperor had hit him hard, knocking out one of his molars, and the Emperor hadn’t even allowed him to pick it up, saying it should teach him a lesson. His constant toothache, as he covered his face, filled him with deep frustration and sorrow.

Being called the commander, he, however, had no real power. The fleet’s command carried a heavy responsibility—how could it possibly be entrusted to him? His presence was rely titular, to avoid humiliation upon his return.

Though he was a Crown Prince, everyone in the fleet looked at him strangely, and he knew all too well why.

It was because he ran his mouth off.

Whenever he thought about it, he bitterly wished he could stitch his own mouth shut. But now, even stitching it up would be in vain; the battle had to be fought.

Compared to Phantom ships, the Nightmare Knights acted with more regularity. After all, such a huge planet couldn’t stay hidden forever, and it would eventually be discovered. The fleet soon approached near the white planet, and clearly, Ruosha had no intention of leaving.

The fleet arrived at the scene, confronting the planet from afar.

But what to do next?

The battleships were equipped with gigantic cannons, and when fired in an array, they could activate a special Array, forming a massive impact cannon. These were designed to combat targets hidden underground, and using them seed fitting for the situation.

However, whether to fire that first shot had beco a monuntal dilemma. In theory, if the enemy had not detected them, taking the initiative and firing first would be the most appropriate choice. But once the firing started the battle, if they won it would be fine, but if they lost, the responsibility would be imnse.

Therefore, the true Commander of the fleet did not issue an attack command but instead ordered all crew mbers to enter combat readiness, forbidding any provocative actions.

Arriving with fierce montum for revenge, upon sighting the enemy, the fleet dared not engage; such was the situation of the Azure Sky Empire’s fleet.

In reality, the Azure Sky Empire’s fleet had never truly faced the Nightmare Knights head-on, and the limited number of battles were mostly small-scale and localized. After all, Ruosha had always adhered to the principle of hit-and-run, mainly focusing on attacking the Azure Sky Empire’s resource stars. Compared to direct confrontation, the Nightmare Knights were far more interested in resources.

Even though they had not yet battled, the limited engagents allowed for a basic understanding of the Nightmare Knights. These Golems, born out of Giant technology, were almost indestructible. No matter how much you shattered them, they would always reassemble themselves. And each ti they did, they would automatically adjust to the attack that shattered them. After several repeats, you’d no longer be able to defeat them. This adaptability and evolutionary trait in combat covered the entire Nightmare Knight Order.

Previously, Fang Zuo had led a group of warriors onto the white planet, and while initially the Nightmare Knights were no match, soon after, these chanical Golems evolved in increasingly bizarre ways. They began to fly, to cast Magic and Fighting Aura, and then, gradually, they developed a certain immunity to Magic and Fighting Aura.

Such an opponent, becoming more difficult to combat with each encounter, was the most fearso; if they could not be utterly destroyed at once, you would be incapable of destroying them when they appeared again.

anwhile, the fleet’s real commanders and their staff were urgently discussing strategies, with Fang Zuo only able to listen in. He was among the few who had really interacted with the Nightmare Knights, and he understood them well. But his understanding was limited to one aspect, and in the past, he had painstakingly recounted the details of his knowledge many tis over to different people under various circumstances. However, this knowledge was not at all helpful in defeating the Nightmare Knights.
