The creatures battling the Giant Beasts were like this...
When they curled up, they were essentially spheres; yet, when they stretched out, they would transform into a kind of creature similar to a gigantic centipede, made up of dozens of segnts, each with three sharp blades.
These tallic centipedes could fly in the air, spinning rapidly as they charged towards enemies. They didn’t need many offensive tactics; rely spinning close to the enemy was enough to exert imnse pressure on all foes.
In almost an instant, a Giant Beast was torn to shreds by dozens of the tallic centipedes!
Isrile imdiately manifested her true form and, along with her three minions, joined the battle fray.

Seeing that the battle wasn’t going their way, the tallic centipedes actually flew together, retracting their blades to form huge spherical bodies! One sphere spun as it smashed into a Giant Beast. The Giant Beast roared and was about to collide with it when suddenly the sphere burst open, swallowing the Giant Beast. Then, the sound of countless blades piercing and the Giant Beast’s roars echoed. When the sphere burst open again, what remained inside was only a mangled corpse of the Giant Beast.
This won’t do! This way won’t work!
"Bronk! Is it ready yet?"
Isrile shouted loudly, while inside the warship, Bronk stumbled from the sudden appearance of Isrile’s voice.
"It’s ready!" Bronk yelled.
"Fire the cannons!"
Instantly, three main guns of the warship fired simultaneously, and the composite gigantic sphere was imdiately blasted into fragnts!
The main guns had been damaged by the impact when they first collided, and Bronk had been repairing them with his brothers ever since. Of the nine main guns on the front of the warship, these three were the only parts that could be repaired, with the other six already completely destroyed and unusable.
Nevertheless, the effect of this strike was quite good. The huge sphere was broken, causing many of the smaller components that made up the sphere to explode on the spot. The leftover parts recombined into smaller tallic centipedes and fled.
"Are we temporarily safe?"
Isrile surveyed her surroundings; there didn’t seem to be any signs of enemies.
