Long Yi took the sword, gently caressed it with a pained expression, and then flung it out.

This throw was incredibly fast, even producing a sharp whistle as it cut through the air.

However, Long Yi did not worry about it not being caught.

Because it was Elsa.

Smack!

The hilt was firmly caught in a small fair hand. Imdiately, a wave of coldness overflowed. Even the Third Crown Prince standing opposite Elsa could feel this bone-penetrating chill!

However, what truly shocked the Third Crown Prince was the brilliance of the sword!

Elsa gently ran her fingers along the hilt, looking at the words engraved in dragon language on the blade.

"Frost Mourne."

Yes!

That’s right!

Yes, you’re not wrong. This is indeed the scaled-up version of Frost Mourne — the Dragon-slaying Sword from the unlucky Prince Arthas!

As a war-maniac, Long Yi naturally loved all sorts of elaborate weapons. He once possessed a collector’s edition Frost Mourne made by Blizzard’s top craftsn.

Long Yi had long prepared this stunning Dragon-slaying Sword for himself, and even after spending three thousand gold coins, he spent another thousand to enchant it with perpetual cold magic. Although the added cold magic was of little use in battle, it was just enough to mimic Frost Mourne’s signature frost aura.

That’s just how ridiculous Long Yi was.

Needless to say, the luxury of Frost Mourne was unparalleled. Compared to it, the Dragon-slaying Sword in the Third Crown Prince’s hand seed like an apprentice’s work.

The Third Crown Prince was close to exploding at this point.

Long Yi!

Again, that Long Yi!

He had managed to handle Ai Lin, but where in the world did he pick up Elsa from?

What in the world!

In all the years since Elsa had joined the Imperial Dragon Knights, when had she ever asked anything of anyone? And now not only she had asked but had done so confidently. That infuriating Long Yi didn’t just give her what she asked for, but also presented the extrely exquisite Dragon-slaying Sword!

At this mont, the Third Crown Prince felt as if Long Yi was smashing his face repeatedly on the ground!

This was humiliation!

However, the angrier he got, the calr the Third Crown Prince beca.

He just gave a faint smile, retracting the Dragon-slaying Sword.

He then spoke calmly, "This Dragon-slaying Sword was initially ant for Miss Elsa. Since she no longer needs it, why not..."

Boom!

Sixteen layers of Fighting Aura instantly blazed out. Under the catalysis of the Fighting Aura, the Dragon-slaying Sword imdiately turned red-hot!

"... why not let you keep it as a souvenir!" said the Third Crown Prince.

He didn’t know what had gotten into him, but with sixteen layers of Fighting Aura, the Dragon-slaying Sword transford into a fireball and was directly hurled toward Long Yi!

"Bastard!"

The Emperor was shocked; he hadn’t expected the Third Crown Prince to lose his temperant in this way!

However, a grating sound of tal friction was heard, and the fireball suddenly stopped!

The fla disappeared, revealing Long Yi.

One of his hands had transford into a Dragon Breath Armor, and under its raging flas, the Dragon-slaying Sword was held firmly!

At this point, the Dragon-slaying Sword’s sheath had turned into ash, and five grooves etched by Long Yi’s fingers were clearly visible on the blade!

Just as the Crown Prince was about to explode, Long Yi had opened Bajie’s mouth and reached his hand into it. He ford the Dragon Breath Armor around his hand, ran the Giant Bloodline in full gear, and combined with the seven layers of Dragon Fighting Aura, to catch the Dragon-slaying Sword barehanded.

Puff!

Long Yi blew on his hands, extinguishing his Dragon Breath armor.

With a loud clang, the Dragon-slaying Sword dropped to the ground.

"Your Majesty."

In the silence, Long Yi spoke, his face almost expressionless, that usual honest look of his nowhere to be seen!

The Emperor’s brow furrowed as he looked at Long Yi, unsure of what the young man who had managed to catch the Dragon-slaying Sword bare-handed was about to do.

"I, Long Yi, challenge the Third Crown Prince to a duel to the death!"

Anger!

Brother Long was finally furious!

Shimring colors flashed in Elsa’s beautiful eyes. How long had it been since she last saw Long Yi angry?

This bastard who treated fighting as entertainnt, almost nothing ever made him angry.

But now, he was enraged.

Brother Long is so cool!

The Third Crown Prince is dood. His re sixteen-level Fighting Aura could never withstand the furious Brother Long!

A duel to the death!

The crowd erupted! This ti, it was true chaos!

A commoner challenging a noble, and it’s a duel to the death with a mber of the Imperial family in front of all teachers and students of the Imperial Dragon Rider Academy! Right in front of the leaders of the five main legions! And most importantly, in front of the Third Crown Prince’s father, the current Emperor!

The Emperor’s eyes trembled incessantly; he was about to go mad!

He hadn’t expected the Third Crown Prince to do such a crazy thing. Just as the Emperor was about to speak after Long Yi caught the Dragon-slaying Sword, planning to pretend to scold the Third Crown Prince to leave, he would then silence everyone with hefty rewards. But then, Long Yi just went ahead and spoke!

It was as if it was all preditated!

"Long Yi, do you understand that to challenge the Imperial family, you need the joint guarantee from six people, and among them, at least three must be nobles!"

Before the Emperor could speak, the judge standing next to him coldly spoke.

The Empire’s law allows challenges, but if a commoner wants to challenge a noble, they need a group guarantee. A group guarantee ans that if you lose the duel, those who had jointly guaranteed you will also be sentenced to death.

This is a law to protect nobles.

And if you wanted to challenge the Imperial Family, you even need three mbers of the nobility!

The Empire’s noble status is extrely strict, which cannot be granted to just any wealthy family. Which ordinary noble would dare to help a commoner challenge the Imperial family?

However, at this mont, Ai Lin stepped forward.

"Count in, I am a noble."

After seeing Ai Lin, General Iron Blood first frowned and then laughed. He was sowhat dissatisfied with her decision, but he was more pleased with his granddaughter’s growth. Even if she lost, what could the Emperor do? Who would dare to harm his granddaughter, Kai Long!

"Count in too, I am also a noble."

Wesley appeared from nowhere.

"Hey, where have you been hiding these days?" Long Yi asked with a smile.

"Haha, I was busy doing important tasks. Luckily, I made it in ti, or else I would’ve missed out on all this fun," Wesley laughed.

"Count us in! We are nobles too!"

The fat man and the skinny man also stepped forward. The fat man had made up his mind. The Emperor was authoritative, but besides him, there was also the military in the Empire. The Emperor didn’t have absolute control over the military power. If Long Yi succeeded, he would certainly win the military’s favor. Even if Long Yi lost, would the Emperor dare to cut off the heads of several noble descendants for the sake of a Crown Prince who had made a mistake? The worst they would get is a scolding when they went ho!

By now, counting Long Yi, five people had already signed up.

"Any more takers?"

The judge’s cold gaze swept over everyone. At this point, no one dared to step forward. Perhaps those five people had acted rashly, but the next person to step forward would determine how the situation would pan out. No one dared to take that risk.

However, at this mont, a cool voice sounded from the side of the Third Crown Prince.

"Count in, White Dragon Elsa. I am not a noble, but I believe the number of people is now sufficient."
