Yake was left completely stunned, his mouth agape as he absent-mindedly gazed at the nine Black Dragons plumting in the distance. At that mont, all words eluded his consciousness.
In preparation for dealing with Elsa, he and his father had developed countless plans, but with the internal strife of the White Dragon Empire constantly changing, the plans had to be adjusted accordingly.
Although that idiot Duo Mo had failed because of his reckless initiative, he had still left them with an opportunity—luring Elsa out in the form of an intimidating threat, and then using newly developed top-tier Artificial Dragon Knights to collectively assassinate Elsa.
These Artificial Dragon Knights had taken a long ti to develop, and only these nine had managed to reach the top tier. They were all dispatched this ti to ensure no room for mistakes and execute Elsa once and for all. Once Elsa was eliminated, the White Dragon Empire would have no choice but to use ground defense strategies against the Black Dragon Empire’s Dragon Knights. However, compared to the mobile Dragon Knights, ground defense asures are essentially useless.
By then, wouldn’t the territory of the White Dragon Empire be ripe for the taking?
However, while plans seed fool-proof, reality did not adhere.
No one had expected that Elsa was a mber of the Celestial Clan!
A single strike brought down the nine newly developed top-tier Artificial Dragon Knights.
How many years had the Black Dragon Empire spent developing these nine top-tier Artificial Dragon Knights!
But Yake didn’t have ti to lant as he watched a streak of white light approach rapidly from afar; there was no chance of him dodging it!
I’m going to die here!
That was Yake’s final thought before he closed his eyes.
However, all he felt was a sharp pain at his neck with no continuation of movent. Opening his eyes, he saw Elsa standing before him, but a falling golden light had severed the tip of the Crystal Greatsword. The severed sword tip had grazed Yake’s neck, but it hadn’t cut his throat. An unparalleled Fighting Aura imdiately sealed the wound, which began to heal automatically!
Looking up, Yake noticed that the hovering Array in the sky had already disappeared, replaced by a Gate of Light. On either side of the gate stood two rows of Celestial Clan warriors, lifting their horns in unison and producing a heavenly lody.
"Greeting to the Third Princess!"
The voice echoed in between heaven and earth.
Elsa’s face changed: "At this ti of all tis!"
"You...can’t kill , can you?" Yake’s face twisted into a grim smile, a mixture of extre terror and joy of a narrow escape.
Elsa didn’t respond but withdrew the Crystal Greatsword, transforming it into a Crystal Core that she held in her hand. Resting Little White, who had reverted back to his dormant form, landed on Elsa’s shoulder, his eyes locked onto Yake.
"Judging from your reaction, I bet that although I don’t understand the reason behind it, you can’t kill ." Yake finally confird, a stream of blood trickled down from his nose. The extre tension had raised his blood pressure too high, causing a nosebleed.
"Ha ha... Haha.... Ha... Even the legendary Celestial Clan can’t kill ! Ahahaha!"
Yake looked insanely jubilant.
Elsa remained expressionless, her body involuntarily ascending into the sky. However, Dragon Yi was blocked below the Black Dragon.
"Goodbye, Brother Long, I’ll be waiting for you there!"
Elsa said softly.
At the gate of light, Elsa stood on the light bridge. On both sides, the Celestial Clan warriors were filled with excitent. The third princess, who was known to have the strongest power from birth but died tragically at the age of three, had suddenly reappeared without warning. This was a mont of witnessing history!
Within the gateway, a Celestial Clan girl with features similar to Elsa’s appeared in a hurry. Upon seeing Elsa, the Celestial Clan girl obviously paused, a hint of panic flashing in her eyes. But it only lasted an instant and then her face was filled with the joy of a long-awaited reunion.
"Little sister!"
The girl rushed forward, wanting to hug Elsa but was stopped by Elsa’s raised hand.
"There are so issues between us that I’ll slowly settle with you, my sister, Selena" Elsa said.
"Sister, what are you... talking about..." Selena, now visibly embarrassed, responded.
"Nothing, I just want to retrieve what is mine..." Elsa said, staring at Selena’s chest.
A hint of fear flashed in Selena’s eyes, followed quickly by anger. However, she quickly replaced it with a smile. "My little sister Elsa, you must have misrembered sothing. Let’s go inside quickly. Staying in this rotten world for too long can make you sick."
A rare smile appeared on Elsa’s usually cold face: "Speaking of this world, my dear sister, I really don’t know whether I should thank you or kill you."
As she spoke, Elsa casually tossed the Crystal Core in her hand. The two sisters walked into the gate of light, followed by the orderly warriors on both sides.
"Brother, Princess Selena was so excited to hear of Princess Elsa’s return that she flew over two planets to get here. But why does Princess Elsa look so angry?"
One of the Celestial Clan warriors asked.
"Shh—Shh—! Do you want to die?" Another warrior hastily stifled his companion’s curiosity.
"What really happened?" The more he was stopped, the stronger his curiosity grew, so the warrior asked again in an even lower voice.
"I’m telling you, you better not talk nonsense!" The warrior took a careful look around before saying, "According to the legend, the fall of Princess Elsa may be related to Princess Selena."
"Huh? Aren’t they sisters?"
"Fool! Do you rember what Elsa was called right after she was born?"
"Light Wing! Princess Elsa was born with the Light Wings symbolizing the strongest ruler... My god, I heard that after Princess Elsa disappeared, Princess Selena also developed her own Light Wings... could it be..."
"Shut up! I didn’t say anything!"
In the sky, the light gate was completely closed, but a bright star fell from the sky.
Yake watched the falling star, seeing it hurtle towards him. He could feel the powerful force contained within the star, but this force was calm and tranquil.
What was it?
Yake reached out with a trembling hand and caught the falling star.
It was a Crystal Core, dazzlingly radiant due to the endless Fighting Aura it contained. But this Fighting Aura was not harmful at all, and if a person could fully absorb it, it could even help further enhance their strength!
Yake’s hand trembled more and more. The fear of death and the euphoria of survival overlapped, causing his facial expression to keep changing. His mind relaxed to the extre at that mont, and he didn’t even hear the Mount Dragon’s restless roar.
Then, he was kicked away. The Crystal Core in his hand fell into soone else’s hand.
It was Long Yi.
Only then did Yake’s eyes refocus, and he saw the figure of Long Yi jumping off the dragon.
Is that... Long Yi? Isn’t he supposed to be caught in dragon’s claws? How did he break free? Yake’s mind was still sowhat short-circuited.
"Wait, where are his Restriction Shackles!"
Tilian yelled.
Crown Prince Tilian had been cowering on the dragon since the beginning. His inexplicable fear left him strengthless and unable to stand. But precisely because of this, he did not face Elsa directly and was, comparatively, the more ’calm’ one.
"Haha! You fool! Thanks for helping break these shackles!"
The sound of Long Yi’s crazy laughter echoed.
Apparently, the Restriction Shackles made Long Yi lose his Fighting Aura. And the dragon’s claws limited Long Yi’s brute strength, turning the situation into a deadly trap. But just then, when Yake was showing Long Yi to Elsa, a crisp sound echoed, signifying the breaking not of Long Yi’s bones, nor Bajie’s, but the sound of the Restriction Shackles! Long Yi subtly adjusted the position of the shackles and cleverly used the power of the Black Dragon and the hard shell on Bajie’s back to snap the shackles!
The Restriction Shackles, while capable of sealing a person’s Fighting Aura, were not particularly sturdy. Ordinary people, after losing their Fighting Aura, naturally lacked the brute strength to break the shackles. But Long Yi still had enormous strength and struggled within the dragon’s claws, ultimately destroying the shackles.
With the Crystal Core in his palm, Long Yi felt surging Fighting Aura accompanied by Elsa’s affection flooding into him, and his own Fighting Aura was escalating to its peak without any hesitation!
The Dragon Mark arrived at last!
Strength completely unsealed!
Mana completely returned to Fighting Aura!
Two Dragon Marks!
Bajie’s Dragon Power added!
Four Dragon Marks!
In the mid-air, Long Yi caught Bajie’s huge paw after speeding up several tis.
"Bajie! My good brother! Today! Let’s fully enjoy wreaking havoc!"
The eyes of Bajie, who was falling, revealed an extre frenzy! Along with this, plus of black smoke were sprayed from the gaps in its scales, which then turned into red flas!
"My brother Bajie! I, Long Yi, request you! Evolve!"
"Roar!"
The loud and ancient dragon roar seed to co from the bottom of the abyss!
"Impossible! You want to evolve!? That’s dreaming! This is a desert wasteland! Where are you going to find the nutrients needed for the evolution!" Tilian yelled crazily.
Yes, the evolution of the Dragon Clan did not involve generating flesh out of nothing, they needed to absorb the necessary elents nearby. If they followed the order and gradually evolved into a youth dragon, then an adult dragon, it was fine. Each ti did not require many elents. However, as Long Yi was trying to evolve a tiny young dragon into a huge adult dragon in one go on this desolate wasteland, it would take a very long ti!
But the roar of Yake’s Mount Dragon startled Tilian, because he saw that the fireball combining Long Yi and Bajie flew towards sowhere, and at that place, there were exactly nine adult black dragon corpses piled up!
Right, they needed elents! Aren’t these ready-made ones right here! (To be continued. If you like this novel, please go to qidian to vote, monthly tickets are welco. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile phone users please visit m.qidian for reading.)
