The dragon wings had grown directly from Ai Lin’s back. Unlike the developed muscles of the Dragon Clan, Ai Lin didn’t have to desperately flap these wings. The runes on them, fueled by Ai Lin’s mana, would naturally enable her to fly.

In a way, it was more convenient than having wings like those in the Dragon Clan.

The black form-fitting soft armor covering Ai Lin’s body was a special alloy, created from the combination of Shadow Silver, pure Dragon Breath, and Dragon Power. Moreover, it was the Black Dragon’s breath. The Ghost Dragon had been a Black Dragon, and for so unknown reason, it had transford into a Ghost Dragon after death, using all its Dragon Power and Dragon Breath to shape a body. But here, it had helped Ai Lin.

When everything stabilized, Ai Lin finally showed off her power.

Three Dragon Marks!

During the battle just now, though Ai Lin had lost consciousness, she instinctively suppressed her power. However, because of Long Yi’s strength, she instinctively has raised her power to two Dragon Marks.

"This is yours." Long Yi handed Ai Lin the two fist-sized Crystal Cores she had thrown before. Ai Lin took them, then shook her head, saying, "The Crystal Poison in my body has completely disappeared. These two Crystal Cores can no longer beco my armguards."

"She can!" The Golem glanced at Long Yi.

"I can?" Long Yi asked in response.

"You can!" replied the Golem with confidence.

"Okay, I can!"

No way? Impossible! I am a descendant of the Giants. If you say it’s impossible, isn’t it embarrassing for ? Long Yi rummaged through all the Giant technology in his head and did indeed co up with a solution.

Long Yi took the Crystal Cores and placed his hand on them.

The Giant runes on the back of Long Yi’s hand lit up, and the majestic power of the Giants poured into the Crystal Cores.

Bang!

A soft sound was heard, and the Crystal Cores shattered, with red blood slowly seeping out. But it was not flowing downwards; instead, it was moving upwards! Then the second Crystal Core also shattered, and the red blood was likewise flowing upwards, slowly gathering in the air to form another mass.

"Give your hand," said Long Yi to Ai Lin.

Ai Lin quickly extended her hand. She didn’t know what kind of trick Long Yi was playing, but her instinctive trust in him reassured her completely about everything Long Yi was doing.

The two balls of blood in the air, under Long Yi’s control, slowly fell onto Ai Lin’s hands. Since there was not much blood, it only covered her arms.

"What’s the point of this?" Ai Lin looked at her red arms, puzzled.

"It can help them recognize their family," Long Yi said with a smile, pointing at the shattered crystals on the ground.

Suddenly, the two Crystal Cores on the ground burst into dust, and the dust rushed towards Ai Lin’s hands. But, unlike what Ai Lin had imagined, it did not stick to the surface. Instead, it lted into the red color as if it were being absorbed.

Then, the red color gradually disappeared, and Ai Lin’s hands turned black again.

"What happened?" From beginning to end, Ai Lin felt nothing wrong.

"Try punching the wall as hard as you can," Long Yi said.

Again?

Ai Lin rembered that the last ti she got her armguards, she had punched a stone. This ti it’s a wall?

Alli didn’t hesitate and threw a punch as hard as she could. Subsequently, she opened her eyes wide in surprise.

There was a shallow fist mark on the solid wall. But Ai Lin only felt the recoil and didn’t feel any pain! The walls of the secret room were made of black stones that could withstand the outburst of the Dragon Clan. How could she have made a mark so easily?

"A new use for Crystal Cores - Energy Ignition," Long Yi proudly revealed the secret.

Long Yi thought that after Ai Lin’s evolution, her Half-Dragon body could handle most threats, and it was ti to enhance her attack power. As a Magic Fighter, Ai Lin still faced the issue of not being able to cast spells from a distance. Without the support of magic, her damage dealt won’t be sufficient. Hence, Long Yi wracked his brains and finally found an effective thod in Giant technology.

Although the blood in the Crystal Cores was initially drawn from Ai Lin, once it entered the Crystal Cores, it beca their sole source of nutrients. Long Yi used Giant technology to purify the blood, enabling it to perate Ai Lin’s arms again. After being stimulated by Long Yi, the Crystal Cores naturally followed the blood.

Once in the active state, the crystals would automatically split and release a powerful force with each of Ai Lin’s punches. This explosion was so brief that most people would overlook it without looking closely, but its power was more than enough.

The fist mark on the wall was not made by Ai Lin, but was blasted out by the explosion of the Crystal Core! Generally, the energy needed to form a crystal structure from a Crystal Core is quite substantial. If an ordinary person used this technique, they would probably be exhausted after a few punches. But Ai Lin, being a Half-Dragon, could easily handle this level of consumption with the Dragon Clan’s body.

To be honest, all these technologies were the most marginal and boring ones among the Giant’s inventions. Back then, when the Giants studied magical beasts, it was similar to how humans study lab rats. Who would have thought that magical beasts could beco enemies of humans now?

Ai Lin looked excitedly at her fists, and continued to punch the wall a few tis, each fist mark deeper than the last. Actually, Ai Lin had always had a very clear understanding of her weaknesses, but she had no effective solution for them. She thought that after having a Dragon Mark and evolving into an adult dragon, she, as a Half-Dragon, would naturally have strong enough barehanded combat power.

Theoretically, this thought was not wrong, but Long Yi had given her a big surprise.

The secret room was a ss because of the battle between Long Yi and Ai Lin just now. Thankfully, as it was a secret room, there were few things in it. Just a casual clean-up was needed. When they erged from the secret room, a priest was still waiting at the entrance. He didn’t ask any questions, and even ignored Ai Lin’s changes.

It wasn’t until Long Yi and the others left the Dragon God’s Temple that Tyl, the Black Dragon, ca out of a corner.

"Lord Tyl, I’ve done everything as you commanded...Now, please let go...let rest...The feeling...is too painful..." the priest pleaded. Tyl nodded, gently patted the priest, who had a look of serenity on his face. Then, in an instant, he turned into a skeleton! Even his clothes decayed into ashes!

Tyl watched Long Yi and the others leaving from afar and sighed heavily. He did not say anything more.(To be continued. If you like this work, I invite you to vote for it at qidian. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please go to m.qidian to read.)
