Long Yi was directly sucked onto the head of the iron anchor, and almost simultaneously, the anchor seed to have reached its limit. The anchor was heavy enough, but it wasn’t particularly fast, hence, the collision didn’t cause Long Yi much discomfort. However, in the next mont, Long Yi was sent flying back with the anchor!

Long Yi tried hard to break away from the attraction of the anchor, but to his surprise, his brute force failed to separate himself from the anchor!

Long Yi knew that he was facing a true warrior, and it was of no use to probe any further.
The Fighting Aura burst out, and Long Yi managed to separate himself from the anchor. At this point, Ruoshan was already gripping the anchor with both hands and smashing it heavily into the ground!

Just a mont ago, Long Yi was pretty certain that he had jumped far away. But the instant Ruoshan attacked, the anchor emitted a strong gravitational pull again, attracting him to the head of the anchor! Had he not forcefully resisted the attraction with his two Dragon Marks’ Fighting Aura, he could’ve been the one crushed under the anchor just now!
Indeed, as a Tiger Whale warrior, Ruoshan seed very heavy, but he had his own way of compensation! Each of his attacks carried a very strong attraction, so strong that even Long Yi, with his two Dragon Marks, couldn’t resist it perfectly!
Were it not for Long Yi’s precautions from the beginning, just this single move might have spelt his failure!
"Shorty, you’re tougher than I’ve imagined." Ruoshan spoke.
"Giant, you’re stronger than I anticipated!" Long Yi admitted quite seriously. The strength of this Tiger Whale warrior was far beyond his predictions, even surpassing the spy of the Black Dragon Empire who tried to assassinate him!
"Undertow!" Ruoshan roared.
Suddenly, Long Yi saw a massive energy vortex form around Ruoshan, which kept pulling him towards Ruoshan’s direction!
"Ethereal Light Shield!" Long Yi shouted, imdiately casting this basic protective magic. As expected, as soon as the Ethereal Light Shield appeared, the gravitational pull eased significantly. However, Long Yi could feel his Mana being rapidly consud by the opponent!
"Oh? So you can cast magic? But humans, how long can this Mana you derive from the Dragon Clan last?"
Looking at Long Yi manoeuvring around him, Ruoshan laughed. Yes, this was exactly what made Ruoshan proud: our power is from ourselves, while your borrowed power from the Dragon Clan, although mighty, how long can you make it last?
"How long?" Long Yi also laughed, "Long enough to give you a good beatdown!"
Ancient Bloodline running at full speed, the Mana was unceasing, and the Ethereal Light Shield beca even brighter!
Sea Emperor looked at Long Yi, suddenly enlightened!
"Is that, the Ancient Bloodline?" The Sea Emperor murmured in a voice only he could hear. "Could it be, the legend is true?"
The gravitational pull no longer affected Long Yi, and he began to mount tentative attacks. But the iron anchor in Ruoshan’s hand was really massive, so Long Yi’s attempts to attack were easily blocked by a simple horizontal swing of the anchor. Long Yi also didn’t dare to clash with the opponent’s anchor directly. Once the weapons collided, a trendous gravitational pull would co from the anchor. The first ti it happened, the Frost Mourne almost slipped out of Long Yi’s grip!
In this round of the test, it was imperative to keep the Frost Mourne. If Long Yi let go of the Frost Mourne, there’d be no point in continuing – might as well admit defeat right away.
Long Yi had figured out Ruoshan’s basic combat strategy: he was well aware of his bulky physique. If a real fight ensued, his milieus was sure to be exploited by the nimble Long Yi. So Ruoshan chose to go head-to-head with Long Yi in a battle of attrition – the one who was depleted of energy first would lose.
You’ve got to admit: this approach made sense. If faced with an average opponent, a few wrangles like this might have ended it all.
But Ruoshan was facing Long Yi – no ordinary human. Long Yi was a giant, and under the influence of the Giant Bloodline, how could he possibly run out of energy?!
"Magic Missile!"
With a raise of the hand, Long Yi shot out a huge magic missile, which hit Ruoshan square on! His skin surface radiated a pale blue glow, and the magic missile barely caused any effect.
"Hahaha, so this is your magic? It doesn’t even tickle!" Ruoshan laughed quite rrily.
What shall we do now?!
Size-wise, Ruoshan’s anchor was larger than Long Yi himself. Long Yi had accumulated plenary battle experience and could tackle all sorts of duels. But against a giant that stood ten ters tall, he was at a loss. Should they fight like this to the bitter end, Long Yi thought, there was no reply but to directly throw the Frost Mourne at the Sea Emperor and admit defeat – such an excruciating match!
Physical attacks were fended off by the opponent’s anchor. Magical attacks seed barely effective. Never before had Long Yi felt so clueless about how to proceed.
The power of his two Dragon Marks was already running on full throttle – as if his own strength was joined with Bajie’s. It wasn’t working still – there was only so much he could do anyway! Then, what options did Long Yi have left? Borrowing blessing from the Water Spirits was one. Using the scroll obtained from this quest seed underhanded, and he simply couldn’t bear doing so. And, what good was a blessing from the Water Spirits going to do anyway? It wasn’t even an attack!
