Yes, the Giant Dragons successfully conducted the bombardnt, but the effect was minimal. The Giant Dragons didn’t even know how thick the enemy’s armor really was!
The bombing continued, and the most effective Armor-Piercing Bombs could only blast open about ten ters of armor each ti. However, it was impossible for the Armor-Piercing Bombs to hit the sa position precisely every ti. Twenty minutes passed in a blink of an eye, and the imnse Dragon Ball still floated there. As the cracks closed, the Worm’s sneering voice ca through: "Struggle, Simu, for you no longer have much ti left. I am very much looking forward to seeing the despair in your eyes when the crack opens next ti!"
The crack closed.
anwhile, the slowly advancing Dragon Ball began to rotate, not only did it start spinning, but its surface also cracked open in a grid-like pattern from top to bottom. The Observation Dragon imdiately approached for reconnaissance, and the results confird that the armor thickness of this gigantic Dragon Ball was at least over one thousand kiloters!
If this were just a simple planet, an angry Giant Dragon could shatter not just a kiloter-thick layer of rock but the whole planet in an instant. Yet, this one thousand kiloters of Dragon Bone armor presented a formidable challenge before all of the Dragon Clan. The armor’s extrely high resistance to energy attacks ant that the best thod to combat it was Dragon Breath, but while theoretically the thickness of the armor could grow indefinitely, the strength of Dragon Breath could not!
The gigantic Dragon Ball began to fire indiscriminately, the Dragon Breath that spewed from the gaping cracks was even more powerful than that of a normal Giant Dragon. The biggest problem on the Dragon Knight’s side now was that Long Yi could not rashly modify these Giant Dragons, for they were sentient beings with independent thoughts, and the power of a single Giant Dragon was already close to reaching an unimprovable limit.
What to do?
From the mont the Dragon Ball began its attack, the damage numbers soared continuously, the Dragon Knights and the Giant Dragons had no solution for this planet-sized Dragon Ball, just like last ti.
"I’ll go," said Elsa, who had been observing the battle from within the Genesis Artifact.
"Are you still able to?" Simu asked with concern.
"I must go, whether I’m able or not," Elsa said.
The typically confident Elsa uttering such words was enough proof that she didn’t even have confidence in herself.
Elsa was about to set off, but Simu stopped her.
"Never mind, this ti, let go," Simu said.
"No, you’re our final support. If you exhaust your energy before facing the Worm head-on, what will we do?" Elsa firmly disagreed.
"Have you thought about the consequences for this universe if you accidentally perish there?" Simu countered.
At this mont, Long Yi was not present. What if Long Yi returned high-spirited, only to receive news of Elsa’s demise?
"He will definitely go mad," Elsa said.
"And what a mad Long Yi would do, nobody knows," Simu added.
"So, I must be fine. If things really go south, I will surely escape," Elsa said.
Elsa was adamant, and Simu knew that once Elsa had made up her mind about sothing, no one other than Long Yi could persuade her.
"If that’s the case, please at least take this with you. If you’re truly in danger, it can open a temporary portal that fits only one person to transport you outside the battlefield," Simu handed a Divine Text to Elsa. "I can’t teleport you directly because that might give the Dragon Ball a chance to escape, but at least this can help you get out of harm’s way."
"Does it consu a lot of Divine Power?" Elsa didn’t take the Divine Text but asked directly.
"It hardly uses any Divine Power," Simu said.
Elsa was skeptical, but she still took the Divine Text because there really were no better options now.
The Dragon Knights cleared a fire-free vacuum zone for Elsa and covered her as she charged through. To the enormous Dragon Ball, the tiny Elsa was too agile. To counter Elsa, the Dragon Ball chose the simplest thod.
Dodge.
All the cracks in Elsa’s area closed, while those facing away from her opened wide. No matter where Elsa went, the cracks would close. Now that Elsa couldn’t use teleportation and was purely reliant on speed, she could not outpace the Dragon Ball. That ant to attack, she must, just like last ti, bombard her way through. But would the Dragon Ball fall for the sa trick again this ti?
Elsa unfolded her Light Wing, which was only a few hundred ters long and its light was not very bright. Clearly, Elsa’s power had not yet fully recovered.
Boom!
The Light Wing converged and struck the armor, drilling downwards continuously. But this ti, the drilling by the Light Wing was extrely slow, and the energy was being consud rapidly! To Elsa’s surprise, the Dragon Ball’s armor was layered! Every hundred ters, there was an energy shield, and the Light Wing had to dissolve the energy shield to proceed further.
"Princess Elsa, it’s almost like she is fighting two hundred million Dragon Beasts by herself," murmured the comntator from the Celestial Clan.
Yes, every ti the Worm would send out about twenty million Dragon Beasts, perhaps that was the most it could create, or perhaps it preferred that number. And this ti, the Dragon Ball was extrely large; it was estimated that indeed two hundred million Dragon Beasts had rged together.
