Long Yi once said a sentence, "When you try to create sothing, no matter whether the process seems reliable, but if the end result is correct, then you are correct."

I am correct!

Darkness imdiately cheered up!

At that mont, the three gods who had always been monitoring from a distant star were dumbfounded.

"Did I see wrong, was that a burst of Divine Status just now?" Rom asked with wide eyes to the two gods beside him.

"I saw it too." The two gods said simultaneously, they were all dumbfounded.

"But how is this possible, she clearly didn’t add new Ancient Divine Texts, if new Ancient Divine Texts were added, there should definitely be corresponding fluctuations!" Rom was utterly confused.

"Could it be that she combined existing Divine Texts?" One of the gods cautiously suggested.

"Nonsense! Those Ancient Divine Texts have been operating for nearly a hundred thousand years. If they could be combined, would we still need to wait until now? Do you not know what the consequences of forcibly combining Ancient Divine Texts would be?" Rom yelled angrily.

"I’ll go have a look!"

One god volunteered but was imdiately held back by Rom.

Just then, a rift was torn open in the distant universe.

A Giant from the rift slowly erged, mouth holding a star. This Giant looked like a massive octopus, except its entire front was filled with a monstrous mouth full of fangs. The star was in its mouth, seemingly being consud as a snack.

In front of the Giant, against the backdrop of the starlight, a nearly humanoid god was scanning its surroundings. Although humanoid, its head had no facial features, only a trunk-like soft large nose continuously swaying, with a string of eyes growing on it.

"It’s the Beast Tar!" The god who just tried to rush out was terrified.

"Don’t move rashly, it can’t see us," Rom’s voice was very tense.

"Oh? It’s the scent of Divine Status eruption."

The Beast Tar spoke in a deep, muffled voice.

"I like this scent. Every ti I co here, I always think about eating that Divine Power star," said the Giant from behind.

"That won’t do, this star is sothing our Group Leader truly cares about. You better watch your big mouth, I’m afraid you can’t restrain yourself. I’ve gone through enormous efforts to find this Divine Power star for you to eat, take your ti eating it, don’t cause trouble," the Beast Tar said.

"Hehe, don’t worry, I have snacks in my mouth, I won’t just eat recklessly," said the Giant.

As soon as the Beast Tar and the Giant appeared, Darkness imdiately sensed it. She halted all her actions, prudently suppressing her Divine Status to a reasonable level, quietly waiting for the arrival of the others.

The Giant Beast stayed outside the star system, its massive volu could cause gravitational issues; this star system was vital for maintaining the structure of the Ancient Divine Texts, so caution was necessary. anwhile, the Beast Tar approached the central Divine Power star, eting Darkness.

"Are you the new mber of the Divine Power Origin Legion?"

The Beast Tar asked Darkness.

"Yes." Darkness said.

"So, did Rom tell you the rules here?"

"He did ntion so, but actually I didn’t quite understand," Darkness feigned ignorance.

"No matter, you just need to know, when I’m here, you must contribute the portion of Divine Status that belongs to your legion."

"Divine Status? How much?" Darkness asked.

"Fill this Divine Status container," the Beast Tar said, pulling out a strange container flowing with Divine Texts.

Darkness looked at it, filling this container didn’t require much Divine Status. For her at the mont, it wasn’t a burden, and at this ti their legion of Darkness was in a state where Divine Status was naturally growing, the lost Divine Status could be recovered quickly.

Theoretically, the Divine Status should be given to them now, and then they should be sent away.

"Give it to him! Let him leave!" Rom muttered in the distance.

"I’m afraid that’s not possible," Darkness said.

"Huh? What did you say? I didn’t hear you." All the eyes on the long trunk of the Beast Tar turned towards Darkness simultaneously.

"I said, it’s not possible, I can’t give you the Divine Status. Moreover, Rom told that it has been a long ti since we contributed any Divine Status, and you still can’t do anything to us," Darkness said calmly.

Since the communication was across galaxies through Divine Power, Darkness’s words also reached Rom at the sa ti. Rom was shocked right then; this was not as planned at all!

Here’s the situation: the Beast Tar is the god in their affiliated Legion responsible for collecting Divine Status. And because the Divine Power Source Legion was running deficits. Rom had already made an agreent with the Beast Tar: every ti Rom recruits a new god, this new god will directly interpret the Ancient Divine Texts. While interpreting all the Ancient Divine Texts, most of the new god’s energy would be depleted. At that mont, Rom would appear, seal this new god into the Divine Power star, thus dividing the new god into a collective of Divine Status and Divine Power. Rom and his team would take one-third, the Beast Tar would also take another third, and the rest would be handed over to the Legion.

Since the Legion responsible for the research work rarely received any Divine Status contributions, the higher-ups never investigated.

The signal arranged by Rom and the Beast Tar was the outburst of Divine Status; once the Divine Status burst out, it ant a newbie was decomposed. That’s why the Beast Tar arrived so quickly.

However, they didn’t expect that this newcor was still here.

"An interesting newcor, but this isn’t what we talked about," the Beast Tar laughed.

Frankly, the only reason this matter is so troubleso is entirely because of Rom’s lack of strength; otherwise, they could just subdue any new god directly, right?

"But now, that’s also fine. Since it’s different from what we agreed, I’ll consider that I found you during a free hunting period. Your Divine Status and Divine Power, all belong to now!"

Saying this, the trunk of the Beast Tar turned towards Darkness, and an extrely terrifying pulling force ca, while Darkness actually felt his Divine Status stirring!

"So, I need to confirm one thing, do you intend to be my enemy and try to kill to obtain the Divine Status?" Darkness asked calmly.

"Hahahaha! You fool! That’s exactly it! Give your weak Divine Status!"

Swish!

A streak of golden light flashed, the pulling force suddenly disappeared, followed by the explosion of the Beast Tar’s long trunk!

"Is that all you got?" Darkness sneered, one arm already transford into a Light Cannon, the Divine Power slowly dispersing after firing.

At this mont, Rom and his two companions were completely dumbfounded. They originally thought Darkness was just a naïve new god, but unexpectedly, this new god also had a temper! Didn’t they agree you disliked fighting? What does it an to blast soone’s trunk apart without a word?

The trunk of the Beast Tar regenerated quickly, now shrouded with a faint golden color, signifying reinforced defense with Divine Power.

"You bastard! I will completely grind you with my trunk!"

The trunk sucked in again, and this ti the force was totally different from before. Darkness’ Divine Power Light Cannon fired again, but even the light from the cannon was sucked into the trunk!

"Hahahaha! Co on, attack ! Struggle! All your attacks will be absorbed by ," the Beast Tar roared with laughter.

Seeing the Light Cannon ineffective, Darkness’s arms imdiately transford into battle blades, charging directly towards the Beast Tar, who was holding two giant golden fangs clashing fiercely with Darkness. Although both were intensely engaged, the Beast Tar clearly had the upper hand, not only fighting with both hands but also continuously disturbing Darkness’s movents with the suction from his trunk.

"This is really annoying." Darkness frowned; she didn’t want to win by enhancing her Divine Status, rather hoping to remain a bit weaker. If not enhancing the Divine Status, then she would have to rely on skill.

Despite the strong pulling force from the Beast Tar’s trunk, the actual threat it posed was not significant, the real threat ca from a pair of tallic giant fangs he held.

"Adapt body movents to the current environnt, enter semi-autonomous mode!" Darkness gave the command to her core. As a Golem created by the Giants, she could adapt herself to different environnts. Even under such gravitational influence, it could be considered as environntal change.

While the core recalculated environntal data, though the consumption increased, Darkness imdiately felt everything returning to normal.

"Be devoured by !" the Beast Tar roared as both giant fangs stabbed down.

"You wish." Clang, the golden battle blades blocked the giant fangs, steering them to one side, and then another tallic collision sound was heard — the Beast Tar’s trunk was cut off again!
