Long Yi’s performance had not gone unnoticed by the Blood Dragons; they were all well aware that the Giant Dragons’ primary purpose for coming here was to eliminate Long Yi.

The Giants, the true gods of the Trinity, these two identities were indeed coveted by the Worms.

Yes, these ten Blood Dragons were not re avatar Worms of the false god Simu, but actual Worms. They had not fused together either, which ant that compared to eliminating Long Yi, they were actually more interested in taking over his body. However, the gluttonous snake that had always been protecting Long Yi was a huge obstacle, and that was why they had not dared to make a move until now.

"Losses three thousand," a Blood Dragon, who had been tallying the numbers, reported.

"What about the enemy’s losses?" asked the Group Leader of the Blood Dragons.

"Nightmare Knights lost tens of thousands, and those strange battleships have also lost over ten thousand," the Blood Dragon said.

It made no ntion of anyone close to Long Yi, which obviously ant they were still in the midst of battle, with everything unfolding right before their eyes.

The losses of the Nightmare Knights and the battleships hinted that Long Yi had actually suffered no casualties at all, as these two things were clearly mass-produced.

"Initiate the collective magic," one Blood Dragon suggested.

The Blood Dragon Group Leader considered the state of the battlefield and nodded, "Proceed!"

The Giant Dragons upon the battlefield suddenly received orders. So Giant Dragons began to retreat to the rear, while those in front started to fight in a more condensed formation.

"Usually, there are only two reasons for an aggressive enemy to fall back. The first is that they’ve set a trap, or they’re about to cast a strategic spell!" Long Yi shouted loudly.

And as expected, behind the group of Giant Dragons, an extrely dazzling light started to twinkle and swell in size.

Nearly ten thousand Giant Dragons gathered together, rging their Mana into one!

"It’s the Apocalyptic Bombardnt! Everyone, be alert to spatial fluctuations around you! Evacuate imdiately at full speed at the slightest sign of one!" Ai Lin shouted. As a Master of Magic and a mber of the Dragon Clan, she imdiately recognized the spell from the Mana fluctuations emanating from the enemy.

"Here it cos!"

Long Yi roared as the first spatial fluctuation indeed appeared right next to him! So they were still interested in playing a decapitation strategy! Long Yi tried to disengage, but almost simultaneously, the surrounding Giant Dragons created a Mana trap, preventing Long Yi from escaping through blinking or teleportation.

"You won’t let go? Then co take the brunt of it with !"

Long Yi’s Greatsword in hand erupted with golden arcs of electricity, unleashing the energy of the gluttonous snake and paralyzing dozens of Giant Dragons around him. Then Long Yi activated the talent of the Giant’s Boots, releasing a gravity trap that gathered all the nearby Giant Dragons in front of him, while the Giant’s Shield fully powered up in front of him!

The light flickered, and the terrifying energy instantly engulfed both the Giant Dragons blocking Long Yi and Long Yi himself. The light gnawed away like the Dragon Clan’s sharp teeth, desperately chewing up everything within range. The paralyzed Giant Dragons didn’t last long, rapidly disintegrating into nothingness. Long Yi, however, held on desperately with the strength of the Giant’s Shield. anwhile, the distant Giant Dragons casting the spell were preparing a second Apocalyptic Bombardnt! Clearly, they planned to use a series of bombardnts to grind Long Yi to death!

"Silver light! Fire over there!" Xiaodie called out loudly to Silver Light for assistance.

Silver Light imdiately prepared a launch passage, but at the mont Xiaodie dashed towards it, Little Black, appearing unexpectedly from nowhere, charged into the launch passage. Now possessing a terrifying pull, it was shot out despite also having absorbed all the energy from the casting Array.

Silver Light regretfully inford Xiaodie of this fact, stating that preparing another launch would take ten minutes. During this ti, even Silver Light’s own energy was greatly diminished.

The group responsible for casting the magic had swelled to a staggering twenty thousand! This far exceeded the typical quantity for group spells. Contrary to what many believed, a larger number of casters wasn’t always better because the higher the number, the more difficult it was to coordinate energy outputs due to variations in individuals’ Mana levels. Thus, group spells of such a massive scale were exceedingly rare. However, the Dragon Clan had all been parasitized by Worms, which homogenized their thought processes and barely allowed them to manage such a vast group spell.

Evidently, even the Blood Dragons had not anticipated how easily they would trap Long Yi. Their primary purpose in casting the group spell was to force the uncorrupted Giants to reveal themselves. But now with Long Yi trapped, they naturally added even more Giant Dragons to the fray, determined to crush Long Yi in one fell swoop! If Long Yi died, their mission in this Plane would be over. As for the fate of other Dragons, they hardly cared.

Just when they thought everything was going smoothly, a beam of light suddenly appeared at the center of the Array.

All casters knew that group magic was highly unstable, with any external interference potentially leading to the spell’s failure or even imdiate collapse. A spell collapse almost never had a positive outco. As the surrounding Giant Dragons casting the spell considered stopping their Mana outputs, the Array not only failed to collapse but surprisingly accelerated its operation!

What was going on? Had the interference failed? And not only failed but also made the spell even stronger?

"Don’t stop, keep casting!" a nearby Blood Dragon shouted as it was not about to give up the credit for killing Long Yi.

The surrounding Dragon group continued to cast, and the Array kept running. However, curiously, despite the Array’s operation, the spell wouldn’t fully form, which was rather strange.

"Boost the Mana!" the Blood Dragon commanded.

The Dragon group imdiately intensified their Mana, and the spell finally started to show hints of formation! (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, you are welco to vote for it on Qidian, where your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m.qidian to continue reading.)
