"Damn, we must retreat now!" the old Prophet said.

"No, we won’t retreat," the new Prophet said.

"What? Are you crazy? We don’t have anything to counter them with anymore! We must leave this place!" the old Prophet shouted.

"It’s you who has no ans left, but I am different! I still have them! And I will be victorious!" the new Prophet sneered, manipulating sothing on his lavish chair. Soon after, a bulky cargo spaceship, which looked like a supply ship, slowly approached. As everyone wondered what a supply ship could possibly do, the cargo hold of the spaceship opened up, and a group of enormous figures flew out!

In the distance, Elsa’s eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Those were dragons, twenty dragons, larger than regular ones, their bodies covered in energy alloy armor.

Roar!

A White Dragon breathed out Dragon Breath, hitting a crystal warship, and imdiately a huge crater was blown into the surface of the ship!

"All units, maneuver to evade! We can’t withstand the Dragon Breath!" the Crystal Demon Commander imdiately yelled.

The appearance of twenty dragons clad in energy alloy armor instantly changed the dynamics of the entire battlefield. Both the Crystal Demons and Ghost Spirits began retreating with full force. This was because these creations were a fusion of Dragon Clan and energy alloy technology, far more powerful than those imitation golems!

"Where on earth did you get these dragons from?" the old Prophet asked, his voice trembling as he barely could believe that the new Prophet had such a trump card.

"Hehe, guess I’m just lucky," the new Prophet said nonchalantly, but the unmistakable pride in his eyes filled the old Prophet with extre revulsion.

"What, you can’t share such things with ?" the old Prophet asked with a mocking smile.

"Well, how could we share such things with outsiders? This is a secret not even my confidants are aware of," the new Prophet also smiled.

The old Prophet’s eyes shook even more violently, for he knew that these dragons were likely prepared by the new Prophet for himself, but now, due to the dire situation, he had to reveal them.

"Well, we shall see how powerful these dragons are," the old Prophet said with a forced smile.

But what happened next truly shocked the old Prophet. The mont those dragons appeared, the Ghost Spirits girls and crystal warships started retreating!

They were retreating?

The old Prophet couldn’t believe it, the enemies hadn’t even engaged in battle yet, and they were pulling back? And they had just instantly obliterated so many golems! It’s well known that golems are much more powerful than the Dragon Clan!

The old Prophet was puzzled, and so was the new Prophet. Even without any actual encounter, the enemies just buckled like that?

Why?

It was Elsa’s order, she issued this order not out of fear of the Dragon Clan. In fact, she had been wanting to retreat slightly for a while, but hadn’t found a suitable opportunity to issue such an order, considering everything was going smoothly, and a sudden command to retreat might have caused dissatisfaction. The appearance of the Dragon Clan rely provided an excuse for Elsa.

"So, why aren’t we taking the chance to wipe them out completely?" Belle asked Elsa confusedly.

"First, even though these white-skinned warriors number in the millions, their total population has already exceeded two hundred million. Conservatively estimated, nearly half of these two hundred million whiteskins are fighters, it’s just that they are not desperate enough to throw themselves recklessly into battle."

"Second, although both Prophets have now shown their cards, it isn’t their only card. The planet might have been destroyed, but so things hidden within that planet still remain. My insiders tell that both the old and new Prophets have kept so things hidden. Pressing too hard now might cause us to suffer losses."

"And third, I’m curious about the role Dragon Star is playing in all this," Elsa said.

"Dragon Star? Aren’t those giant dragons always in slumber?" Belle asked, puzzled.

"Yes, theoretically that is the case, but sleeping dragons can wake up," Elsa said.

"That’s definitely not good news," Belle said.

"So, I think, let’s not rush to pressure them, I might need to go check out Dragon Star first," Elsa said.

"That’s too dangerous, if there really is a problem, you might not be able to get out smoothly," Belle said.

"Don’t worry, it won’t happen. In this plane, there is nothing that can pose a threat to . Maybe the Divine Worm could have, but not anymore," Elsa said confidently.

"In that case, I’ll go with you," Belle said.

"That won’t work, you are the Crystal Demon Empress, if any mishap were to happen to you..."

"No, I won’t have any accidents, I’m a Crystal Demon, do you rember? My actual consciousness isn’t here," Belle said with a smile.

Elsa thought for a mont, and finally nodded, "Okay."

Mid Plane.

At so of the border locations, scouts continuously reported the traces of the Dragon Clan. From the information obtained from Ika, these mbers of the Dragon Clan were not yet able to transform into human form, which was good news. After all, if these dragons could disguise themselves as humans and infiltrate the world of ordinary people, that would pose a huge problem!

Because the Dragon Clan was only appearing at the borders of so star sectors and had not yet started to wage war, Long Yi strictly ordered everyone not to provoke these dragons. The construction speed of the new type tetrahedron warships had increased to two thousand a day, but Long Yi still found it too slow. If they could give him two more years, it might be enough, but now the Dragon Clan was right under their noses, and ti was truly insufficient!

Finally, one day as Long Yi was eating dinner, a ssage from Ika suddenly arrived.

The Dragon Clan had finally decided to attack!

An army of precisely five hundred thousand mbers of the Dragon Clan was flying towards the outer star sector border!

These dragons, now thirty percent freed from their curse, were able to move freely in space and were not afraid of any tactics that might be used to intercept them midway. Thankfully, due to the prior incident with Simu, the remote star sectors along the border were already deserted. Even if the Dragon Clan reached there, there would be no losses.

"If we continue at the current pace, it will take about five days to reach the first line of defense," Long Yi said sternly, staring at the star map. Around him were various imperial figures, and Long Yi was informing them of what was about to happen and the strategies to address it.

"My citizens are accelerating their evacuation; I believe three days should be enough," a leader said.

"We will try to hold the battlefield in space, but if luck isn’t on our side, your planet might beco the battlefield," Long Yi said.

"I know, but it doesn’t matter. After all, throughout the history of the universe, no one has dared to battle the legendary Dragon Clan. At least in the history textbooks of the future, my planet might appear under the banner of the opening battle," that leader said with a wry smile.

"But still, that’s the legendary Dragon Clan. Are you really confident?" another leader cautiously asked.

"Give a few more months, and my confidence might be stronger. But for now, all I can say is... as long as I’m not dead, this battle definitely won’t end."

Actually, Long Yi knew very well that this battle was most likely targeted at him. If possible, he really didn’t want to drag these ordinary people into this. But at this mont, he had no choice but to rely on these people’s strength. Otherwise, he really couldn’t find the massive resources needed to combat the Dragon Clan in such a short ti.

Ti passed day by day, and the direction of the Dragon Clan’s invasion gradually beca clear. At this mont, the number of tetrahedron spacecraft Long Yi possessed was still less than thirty thousand. Even though these were sufficiently advanced, they couldn’t form a nurical advantage.

Ruosha had enough Nightmare Knights, but Long Yi sincerely doubted they could be the main force resisting the Dragon Clan. Isrile and the Giant Beasts were arranged on the ground. The Dragon Clan traveling long distances would definitely prefer ground combat, as maintaining presence in space for long periods drains a lot of energy. Besides, the Giant Beasts weren’t skilled at cosmic blockades, and it was best to station them honestly on the ground.

Then, the day finally arrived.

Five hundred thousand mbers of the Dragon Clan, with overwhelming Dragon Might, flew from the distant cosmos.

"Whitestar, the main cannon is ready," Ruosha’s voice ca through.

"No tactics—just fire as soon as they enter range!"

Boom! A kiloter thick beam of light swept across space and, due to the distance, the approaching Dragon Clan had prepared in advance. A huge shield erged in space, unexpectedly withstanding Whitestar’s main cannon!

"They can withstand this?! These bastards!" If initially they were unclear about how strong these mbers of the Dragon Clan were, now Ruosha truly understood. This cannon was powerful enough to completely shatter an asteroid! But it was resisted by the Dragon Clan! Well, even though there were sowhat many dragons, this was, after all, a light cannon fired from Whitestar!

The first strike ineffective, the long-traveled Dragon Clan instantly beca enraged; they imdiately deployed teleportation, planning to teleport directly nearby!

"Xiaodie, it’s your turn now!" Long Yi said.

"I’ve been wanting to try this for a while!" Xiaodie laughed gleefully, a brilliant mass of Stellar Material condensing in her palm.

"Fusion core explosion!"

Xiaodie flicked her wrist, hurling the mass of Stellar Material. Long Yi instantly perford a teleportation beside her. The Stellar Material vanished instantaneously and then reappeared far ahead—right where a group of Giant Dragons had just torn through space and erged.

Boom!

The Stellar Material instantly detonated, the freshly arrived Dragon Clan hurriedly launched their defense. But the explosive power of the core blast was extrely shocking; the dragons at the forefront were instantly blasted to death. However, so further back only had their wings scorched and were flung out by the blast without being killed!

Long Yi’s eyebrows knit tighter. If a fusion core explosion of this scale couldn’t annihilate a group of Dragon Clan, how strong could the fully powerful Dragon Clan be?

"Attack!"

These Giant Dragons had no intention of engaging in long-range bombardnt; they imdiately sought close combat. They intended to use their physical and energy advantages to crush their enemies directly!

"Giant Worm, go!" (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit qidian to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please go to m.qidian to read.)
