The blue planet had just emitted a powerful repulsion force, but astonishingly, that black substance absorbed it. Moreover, following the repulsive force, the black matter directly landed on the blue planet and began its process of consumption.
Discovering that Xiaodie was of its own kind, the ball of black matter was extrely excited, and it even released a terrifying amount of energy for Xiaodie!
This behavior was unimaginable for life forms like Xiaodie. They acted on instinct to devour; sharing was an impossibility for them. Yet now, the black matter was actually sharing!
"How long has it been since you last saw one of our kind?" Xiaodie inquired in the way unique to their species.
Regrettably, Xiaodie received a very vague response; its intelligence was so low that it couldn’t possibly answer such a question.
"Then, would you like to co with ?" Xiaodie asked again.
This ti, the black matter was thrilled; it clung to Xiaodie’s hand and ford into a black bracelet, almost weightless, but the terrifying attraction to energy was incessantly transmitted.
Xiaodie was also very happy. In fact, she was extrely curious about her origins, because when she left that world, she had not yet ford sufficient intelligence; even she herself did not understand what that world was really like. She had always wanted to find her own kind, but had never had the chance. And now, a mber of her own kind had appeared before her!
When the black matter arrived on Xiaodie’s hand, the part of the blue planet that had been eroded turned back into a brilliant blue, and the corroded wounds gradually began to heal.
"But this thing tastes so good, you feel the sa way, right?" Xiaodie said to the bracelet. A joyful ssage decisively ca through; although it couldn’t convey complex information, it certainly knew what it liked to consu.
"However, I should give you a na, shouldn’t I? What should I call you?" Xiaodie pondered hard, while the bracelet sent back a clueless ssage. In fact, the bracelet didn’t even understand what the word ’na’ ant.
"I’m called Xiaodie, so should I call you Little Ball? But that na feels weird. Looking at how pitch-black you are, let’s just call you Little Black," Xiaodie said.
Being given the na Little Black, it seed very happy at the mont. Of course, it wasn’t happy because of the na, but because it sensed Xiaodie’s happiness. In truth, to it, whatever it was called had no significance.
"Co on, Little Black, let’s keep eating! This planet is really big, enough to feed us for a very, very long ti!" Xiaodie pointed at the blue planet ahead and said.
Little Black imdiately surged with an astounding devouring power, and Xiaodie added her own devouring force on top of it, instantly making the light of the planet ahead seem brighter! But it wasn’t because the planet itself was becoming brighter. It was because the terrifying gravitational force released by Little Black and her attracted all the light that was originally scattering in all directions to the vicinity!
Accompanied by this gravitational force, the substances on the surface of the blue planet were pulled into a thin stream and headed straight for Xiaodie!
"Please... wait a mont!" A rumbling voice ca, sounding very strange due to the imnse gravitational forces around.
"Who?" Xiaodie didn’t stop. It was a joke; she was in the middle of a joyful al, and you expect her to stop just because you say so? How could that be possible?
"I am the planet in front of you, please do not continue devouring !" The voice ca again.
"Huh? You’re conscious!" This ti, Xiaodie truly stopped.
"Yes, I am a planet with my own consciousness. After an incredibly long ti, I birthed my own intelligence. So, please do not devour like this..." the planet pleaded.
"Hm, now that you ntion it, I feel a bit embarrassed. After all, I’ve never eaten anything that can talk, but you really do taste too good. Since you are a planet, why not share a little with ?" Xiaodie said, almost drooling.
"This... Well, I’ll give you half of my planet’s energy. Is that okay?" the planet proposed.
"Yes, yes!" Actually feeling sowhat embarrassed, Xiaodie had only intended to ask for a small part, but the planet was unexpectedly generous. Since that was the case, she certainly couldn’t ask to give it back.
Thus, the blue planet slowly split in front of Little Zi, eventually dividing into two.
"As per our agreent, I give half of my substance to you," the planet declared.
"Then, as agreed, we will leave imdiately after devouring this substance completely," Xiaodie said.
This ti, the devouring was with a clear conscience; such delicious energy intoxicated both Xiaodie and Little Black.
But at this mont, another consciousness was watching Xiaodie with extre nervousness.
In the very center of the planet Xiaodie was devouring, a golden Eternal object lay hidden with a Worm beside it. This Divine Worm had controlled a mutated Divine Envoy and consud one planet after another, whether they were stars or planets. With Divine Power and luck, it accumulated a terrifying amount of energy around itself.
This Divine Worm had always concealed its presence, never engaging in the battles with other Divine Worms. But it was confident that if it entered the fray, it would imdiately beco the sole victor.
However, it was unlucky this ti. It had always disguised itself as an ordinary desolate planet, but because it consud too much energy, the magic uncontrollably mutated, turning it into a fiercely burning planet. Not only did it attract Xiaodie, but also the frightening Little Black! What was most critical was that Xiaodie and Little Black ca from the sa world! They joined forces!
The Divine Worm knew that if it didn’t do sothing, the energy it had painstakingly accumulated would be lost. So, it decided to strike first, using lies to deceive what appeared to be the simple-minded Xiaodie. Using half of the energy substances as bait, it aid to keep her focused on devouring, but when she was about to finish, it would suddenly appear and forcefully possess Xiaodie’s consciousness!
