Elsa smiled and shook her head. If you’re not a stranger, why did I waste so much ti?

"You may not believe this, but I still need to tell you. The reason we are hiding here is not to avoid you. Even though we made the prophecy, we are not the ones making it co true. We rely stated once more the events of the future that are bound to happen," the old woman said.

The city was bustling, and none of the faces bore any signs of suffering or unease. They had been hiding here for a long enough ti, and ti was enough to change everything.

After wandering through the city for a while, the old woman ca to an unremarkable little house where Elsa had arrived. Several young people were chatting at the door. Upon seeing the old woman’s arrival, the young people’s faces imdiately took on a solemn expression as they walked over, greeted her respectfully.

"How is Master Jiana feeling today?" the old woman inquired.

A young person imdiately nodded and replied, "The grandmother’s spirits are surprisingly good today. She woke up very early this morning and specifically ordered so of her favorite foods. Now she is reading in the study. She instructed that if the visitor from the Heaven Realm arrives, there is no need to be formal; just go directly to the study at the end of the third floor."

The old woman imdiately turned and looked into Elsa’s eyes, "Then, we will wait for you here, Princess Elsa."

"Thank you." Elsa thanked the old woman, then went straight through the door into the house.

Though it was just an ordinary residence, it was clean and neat with no odd sll; it was apparent that the usual master of the house was diligent in keeping everything in order.

Heading straight to the third floor, Elsa found a study at the end, as expected. She knocked softly, and the door opened by itself.

Behind the door, at a large desk, an old woman with a face full of wrinkles was ’looking’ at her with a smile.

To say she was looking was not quite accurate; the old woman was without eyes, yet her shriveled eye sockets seed to gaze upon her nonetheless.

"You have arrived, Princess Elsa!" the crone exclaid.

"Master Jiana?" Elsa asked.

"’Master’ is too much of a title. I am just Jiana, the one who made a prophecy for your father decades ago," the old woman said.

"You seem to know everything about ?" Elsa remarked, puzzled.

"No, I have only seen so things through the Eye of the Ancestor. I also knew that my prophecy would change the entire plane," Jiana said with a continuing smile.

"In fact, I’ve always been quite disdainful of your prophecy. I even thought that if I did nothing, then nothing would happen. But now it seems, I thought too simply. The events still happened, and my father went mad," Elsa said.

"So you have co to ask what exactly my prophecy was, is that correct?" Jiana asked.

"Yes, that’s right," Elsa confird with a nod.

"In that case, why don’t you take a look for yourself?"

As she spoke, Jiana extended her hand, which was as withered as a tree branch, and Elsa grasped it without hesitation.

"Show ," Elsa said.

An imnsely excited look appeared on Jiana’s face; beneath her shriveled eyelids, her eyes once again seed to swell. Afterward, rays of golden light burst forth from the cracks around her eyes!

"Oh great Eye of the Ancestor! Please, display your sacred sign in my eyes one last ti!"

Hum!

The golden light shot out, streaming into Elsa’s eyes. Monts later, the light vanished, and Elsa stood stunned in place, a layer of fine sweat beads appearing on her forehead.

"So real! Is this what you initially saw? Not just you, even I might not have remained calm upon seeing such a scene," Elsa gasped heavily before speaking. But when she looked up at Jiana again, she saw that Jiana was smiling back at her, yet there was no longer any sign of life in her.

Dead?

A slight frown creased Elsa’s brow.

At that mont, a gentle knock ca from outside the study. The door opened, and Jiana’s grandson entered.

"Grandmother had foreseen this day a long ti ago. To wait for its arrival, she sustained that body, which could barely hold up, with sheer willpower until now. Finally, you have co, and she can rest," Jiana’s grandson said.

"Yes, I understand, and I am very grateful for everything she’s done," Elsa remarked.

"My grandmother always said that in her life, she had made countless prophecies and never deceived anyone. But she really should have given the Emperor a wrong answer. Perhaps then, none of this would have happened."

"History will not change just because you alter it unless it’s at the right node." Long Yi had told this to Elsa, and it was the existence of the Fine Gold Golem that made Elsa believe in the existence of prophets. After all, compared to a Ti Traveler, a Prophet sohow seed more credible.

At this mont, Elsa watched Jiana’s grandson take care of Jiana’s body and then leave the study. Her mind was still pondering the sights she had just seen. To be honest, she was a bit shocked; she had never imagined that things could turn out that way.
