When Hayden was found, he was lying amidst chaos, covered in blood, with a gem on his forehead shining brightly, protecting him from suffocating in the surrounding vacuum. The rescue team dragged him away, back to the dical center, where several doctors discovered that the gem on Hayden’s head was actually a fragnt of a Cosmic Stone!
Clearly, within the Ancient Mage Tower, there would be no way for a fragnt of a Cosmic Stone to find its way to soone’s head on its own; aning, there must be an intricate connection between that beam of light and this Cosmic Stone fragnt.
The doctors attempted to remove the Cosmic Stone fragnt from Hayden’s head, but they quickly realized the fragnt was filled with flowing blood and had fully fused with Hayden’s skull. If they wanted to remove it, they would have to shatter his skull.
Subsequently, the doctors imdiately prepared for surgery—they really planned to shatter Hayden’s skull.
Long Yi felt helpless. Although he was well aware that these ordinary people had no power at all inside the Ancient Mage Tower, he was still surprised by the turn of events. Clearly, under Elma’s rule, the entire Ancient Mage Tower had entered a very special state. Hayden hovered in the air, with energy of mana spraying from his eyes, looking down upon everything around him from a great height.
The doctors had no idea what had happened, and even Hayden’s friends watching nearby were left in stupefaction. In their mory, Hayden was a complete failure, with such low mana talent that he was only fit for patrol duties in his life. Yet, the terrifying energy now bursting from his body was comparable to an Elder’s!
"Fools! How dare you covet a power that does not belong to you!" Hayden spoke, pointing at the doctor below who was holding a saw.
"No... I didn’t..."
Under the oppressive force of Hayden’s magic, the doctor instinctively tried to deny it, only to have a terrifying stream of energy directly from the gem hit him, and in an instant, the doctor withered away, turning into a pile of ash!
The rest of the people were imdiately terrified, screaming as they tried to escape.
"No one can flee from my power! I have slept for tens of thousands of years! Now, with no Giants to bind , this plane will once again welco their one true King!"
Hayden shouted loudly, and energy kept spraying from the gem, turning one person after another into ash. A few lucky ones managed to escape, however.
"Hahahaha! Run, run! Embrace your destiny! Submit! Or die!"
Hayden continued to float in the air, behind him faintly appeared a tall humanoid radiance, which was incredibly brilliant. Mysterious runes flowed within the form, and his entire body constantly emitted thunder, automatically blasting towards everything around, shredding all that the lightning struck.
Elma imdiately beca aware of this incident. He had already been curious about what that light streaking across the sky was. Now hearing that Hayden, who was once but a naless nobody, suddenly proclaid himself a king sealed for ten thousand years, it instantly piqued Elma’s interest.
Within the Ancient Mage Tower, there were so Black Crystal Mages, a reserve force specially left by Elma to deal with the sudden appearance of Long Yi. They now seed to have found their use.
The Black Crystal Mages quickly assembled and charged towards the direction Hayden was heading, while Zulal, who had already arrived there, continually reported the situation back to Elma.
The situation was actually very grim, because Hayden was heading straight for the top of the Ancient Mage Tower, which ant his goal was undoubtedly to take over the place!
The initial resistance forces and the Guardians of the Ancient Mage Tower could not even withstand a single blow before him; they all turned into ash. Witnessing this from the shadows, Zulal could not help but feel apprehensive—it was even more terrifying than facing Long Yi before. At least Long Yi always seed to hold back, but Hayden did not discriminate—he would instantly kill any living creature in front of him, without even caring whether it was human or not!
Through Zulal’s description, Elma had practically confird that this guy was indeed formidable. If left unchecked, he feared the entire ship might be dismantled by him!
"Zulal, have the remaining people lure him in my direction; I will set a trap for him," Elma said.
"A trap? Great Master Elma, aren’t we going to banish him directly from the Ancient Mage Tower?" Zulal asked, puzzled. There was a simpler and safer way, so why choose such a difficult thod?
"Look, I already let one Long Yi escape, and now another opportunity has co knocking at my door. If I let him leave just like that, who knows, he might beco a great threat to in the future," Elma said.
"Your wisdom is profound, Master..." Zulal said outwardly, but his heart was filled with trepidation. Elma had not seen what Hayden looked like at the mont. But Zulal had seen everything, and the current Hayden could be described as extrely dangerous, even more so than Long Yi! If they tried to keep him here by force, and should they fail, the consequences were unimaginable!
But, after all, the owner of the Ancient Mage Tower was Elma, not him, so he couldn’t question Elma’s authority. Therefore, he could only do as Elma had said, deploying so of his people accordingly. And Hayden indeed fell for it, blindly following the attackers that continuously appeared in front of him, step by step, towards Ailma’s trap.
When Hayden reached an extrely open area, a trendously powerful force suddenly descended around him, instantly forcing the perpetually levitating Hayden to the ground. Then the Black Crystal Mages erged, working in unison—magic resonating upon each other—they increntally amplified the mana suppression within the trap.
"Devious fools! Do you think you can trap like this? Before ! You can only submit!"
Boom!
A column of light shot out from the gem on Hayden’s forehead, striking a Black Crystal Mage. The dragon scale armor on that mage imdiately blew apart creating a huge hole, and his body was pierced through as well. However, the crystal body began to heal quickly, and the black dragon scale armor reclosed over his body.
"Evil beings! They are Crazy Demons! You fallen wretches consort with Crazy Demons! My plane does not need you! Be destroyed entirely!"
Clang!
A mysterious bell toll echoed from nowhere, and following that, Hayden, even while suppressed, erupted with even more terrifying mana, and a huge array appeared both in the sky and underfoot. The bell tolled again, and this ti, even Elma, who was observing from the shadows, felt physically unwell. And when the bell tolled for the third ti, Elma even saw cracks appear on his own arms!
"Hahahaha! Shatter before ! Pitiful Crazy Demons! When the bell tolls seven tis, both you and the Crystal Poison within you will be erased from here forever!" Hayden laughed loudly.
"Damn it!" Elma imdiately realized sothing was terribly wrong—he hadn’t expected the enemy to have a way to deal with the Crazy Demons!
"Clang!" Another bell toll rang out.
At this mont, Elma, along with all the Black Crystal Mages around him, found themselves unable to move the slightest inch!
"Clang!"
Another bell toll, and all the mana within them ceased to circulate!
"Clang!"
With the sixth bell toll, Elma no longer had the luxury to consider what state he might be in next; all he wanted to do was shift his consciousness imdiately and leave here for a new body!
But just then, the imnse array suddenly dimd!
"What is happening? This feeble body? It can’t even sustain this most ordinary spell?" The terrifying mana that surrounded Hayden began to rapidly fade, and Hayden himself was slowly descending from the sky, the mana that had been shooting from his eyes also started to vanish.
"No! No, no! It shouldn’t be like this! You, a pureblood descendant of the Hayden Family, how could you be so frail! What happened to you? Could it be that even your power has been sealed by the Giants? My consciousness is blurring! No! This won’t do! I’ll strengthen you! I will pass on to you all of my most powerful knowledge! The last surge of mana from Hayden erupted, shattering the dragon scale armor on all the surrounding Black Crystal Mages, exposing the Crazy Demon cores within, only to shatter them once more, and the Crystal Cores simultaneously turned to dust. A flash of light passed, and all the Crystal Poison was destroyed.
And at that mont, Hayden had lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground.
Now, Elma, who was hiding in the shadows, was fractured into countless pieces, and the last impact had made it so he couldn’t imdiately recover. But he was not worried—in fact, he was laughing, and laughing heartily.
Because he knew he had obtained a treasure!
When Hayden woke up on the bed in his secret chamber, the first person he saw was Elma.
"Master Elma! I...I really don’t know what happened! My body suddenly lost control! I...I...I..." Hayden stamred his explanation, so nervous that he broke into tears.
"It’s alright, my child, I understand, it’s not your fault. Now, tell , what exactly happened?" Elma asked almost affectionately.
