He couldn’t stand the fact that a perfect formula lay before his eyes, yet he was unable to use it!
"And you, what do you have?" Isrile stared at the next person and asked.
The man lifted his head proudly and said, "Unlike his trivial studies, my research is specifically aid at Fissures! And with just three more days’ ti, I am certain to achieve results!" With that, the man brought out an even thicker stack of materials, all of which were the fruits of his research.
"Let show you the interdiary steps. My requirents are quite simple—if you can comprehend what my research entails, then you’ll have won."
The man pulled out a sheet of paper, which appeared quite important, as it had been perused nurous tis.
"Hmm, judging from the first formula, there are roughly seven different research directions. The second step narrows it down to three, the fifth to two, and the final step, heh, you’re researching this piece of junk? I thought it was sothing much more mysterious!"
Ruosha wrote down an extrely simple formula directly on the paper and then said, "This is the answer to your research; you don’t need to waste any more ti on it."
Seeing Ruosha scribbling casually on his most precious research, the other party flew into a rage: "You impudent child! How dare you doodle on my work? Fortunately, I’ve morized everything, otherwise you could never afford the loss!"
Ruosha pouted, extended her pinky finger, and tapped the man’s materials: "As I see it, that’s rely a waste of ti. Compensation? Would you compensate for a pile of rubbish?"
Zemir had originally thought that Ruosha was just a timid girl who liked to hide behind her sister, but to his surprise, she showed such an assertive side in the area of academic research.
"You claim this is the answer? Alright then! I’ll incorporate your answer into my project, and if you’re wrong, I’ll..." The man began to calculate while speaking but stopped mid-sentence. His professional instincts told him that this answer was indeed correct.
His calculations weren’t even half-finished, yet he had already noticed several precise points of convergence. As a researcher of his level, he knew his subject like the back of his hand, understanding instantly with just a glance.
He stopped talking, focusing on spellcasting to concentrate on the calculations. As Mana smoothly passed through once, the computation this ti unsurprisingly confird Ruosha’s correctness.
"You are right..." the man muttered.
"Good to know!" Ruosha proudly turned to the third person. "Co on, tell us about your research."
The third person was also skinny, taller, and looked as if he could snap in half if not careful, compared to the one previously nicknad ’skeleton’ by Isrile and Aisha.
The other party glanced at Ruosha, his eyes filled with contempt.
"My work is different from theirs; they are just a group of pitiful theoreticians. Whereas I am engaged in the practical application of magic involving space and Fissures in battle," the man pronounced, casting a spell. A ball of light twinkled in his palm, with Spatial Turbulence swirling within. "This was once a strategic spell but has been simplified by for individual use. Ultimately, my goal is to consolidate all Spatial Turbulence into a high-frequency saw, cutting through every defense! Indomitable!"
As the man spoke, the spell in his hand continued to morph, and the originally chaotic and narrow Spatial Turbulence began to rge. In the end, only a few Fissures appeared in relatively fixed positions.
And this spell only lasted for less than half a minute, long enough to leave him drenched in sweat.
Gasping for air, the man glared at Ruosha: "What do you think, little girl, any suggestions for my spell?"
Ruosha imdiately shook her head: "I have absolutely no suggestions for your spell because it’s not my area of specialty."
Upon hearing this, the man gloated. He was about to utter so mocking words when Ai Lin stepped forward, shielding Ruosha: "Combat spells are my forte."
At this mont, Zemir was observing Lily and Sasa, realizing that when it ca to solving theoretical magic, it had always been Sasa who spoke up, indicating the sisters had different areas of focus!
"Oh? You? It makes no difference! Spells like these aren’t sothing you can just scribble on paper and understand!" The man didn’t believe that turning theoretical knowledge of magic into practical combat was an easy task.
Isrile, however, extended a finger and waved it while saying, "Rest assured, a simple spell like this doesn’t even require scribbling on paper, just a bit of ntal contemplation is enough. Who would be as foolish as you, wasting so much ti on research?"
Lacking Isrile’s strong rebuttal skills, the man’s eyes bulged in fury and he yelled: "In that case, conjure up a similar spell. It doesn’t have to be much, just reduce the Fissures in this spell by half and you win!"
"Sure, let try."
Isrile raised her hand, and Mana brewed into a light sphere. Soon, Spatial Turbulence erupted inside. Isrile watched these Spatial Turbulences for a long while without moving.
"What’s the matter? Can’t make one?" the man sneered.
"How long have you been researching this project?" Isrile asked without even lifting her head.
"Six months," the man replied.
```
"You spent six months to make such pitiful progress; can’t you give six minutes of your ti?" Isrile laughed.
"Fine! I’ll give you six minutes!" the other party roared.
Zemir couldn’t help but smile wryly. You took six months, yet she only asks for six minutes. If a little girl takes six minutes to defeat you, could you really believe you have won?
But Zemir didn’t speak; he just silently watched Isrile.
Five minutes had passed, and Isrile dispersed her magic, breathed out deeply, and raised her head.
"Planning to admit defeat?" the opponent laughed.
"No, I’m planning to show you what the world has to offer," Isrile said. Then, lifting her hand, there was a fissure in space within her palm! The fissure was flickering at high speed; it was the result of countless spatial fissures appearing and disappearing at the sa location!
Everyone was stunned, including Zemir. If at the beginning Sasa’s theoretical research was enough to shock and awe, then what Lily was now demonstrating with her impressive magical talent truly terrified everyone.
Theoretical research doesn’t kill, but what appeared now was a legitimate, lethal magic spell!
"You... you actually..."
The tall, thin researcher, pointing at Isrile, couldn’t utter a complete sentence, and suddenly a trickle of blood spilled from his mouth; he toppled to the ground stiffly.
"Another one died of shock?" Isrile leaned over to look and indeed, the other person had neither breath nor a heartbeat.
"Well then, my sister kills one with shock, and so do I. Looks like we’re even, haha!" Isrile laughed heartlessly.
Zemir was now too shocked to speak. Although he knew these two girls could be geniuses, he never imagined they would be to this extent. His sister Sasa was a genius in theoretical research, solving formidable problems with the sa ease she’d play house. And her sister Lily was a genius in magic, able to replicate a highly complex spell after just one glance!
What a joke! Such girls, placed amongst a group of researchers? That would be burying talents!
Zemir didn’t linger long. He rushed back to the room on the top floor, where a group of mages were now congregated at the window, watching everything that had just happened through a magic spell.
Geniuses, these were real geniuses!
The old mage exclaid in admiration.
If there was any doubt about Lily and Sasa’s strength at the beginning, they had now proved their genius with their own actions.
"I dare say, even those of us here might not be able to achieve such heights," soone suddenly said.
"Yes, those research efforts are truly remarkable. Although I might be able to solve them given so ti, those two girls provided the answers in an instant," another added.
"Actually, we shouldn’t be too worried. Maybe this was sothing they had already studied before?" another person suggested.
"Are you joking? Even so, that would still be absolutely incredible, right?" another person countered.
"Alright, why not we go ask them directly and find out for ourselves?" the old mage proposed.
"Ask them directly? We go down to them?" Zemir asked the old mage.
"Of course not... we’ll have them co up here!" the old mage declared.
Zemir’s eyes imdiately lit up; perhaps he was about to be rewarded for discovering the talents of these two girls!
Zemir imdiately went downstairs. By now, Isrile and Ruosha were surrounded by so additional people, all of them researchers, their sole purpose being to ask Isrile and Ruosha to help solve their problems. However, when they saw Zemir appear, everyone dispersed—no one wanted to be seen as incompetent.
Approaching Isrile and Ruosha, Zemir said with an excited tone, "Miss Lily and Miss Sasa, I am honored to invite you to join at the Aerial Research Lab."
The so-called Aerial Research Lab was the structure floating in the air. It was where true geniuses conducted their research, the dream of everyone there. No one could have anticipated that these re two girls, after just three days onsite, would be invited to the Aerial Research Lab!
Envious gazes ca from all directions. But no one dared to question this decision; everyone rembered one rule: to obey.
"Certainly! It’s our honor," Isrile said with a smile, then, holding Ruosha’s hand, the sisters followed Zemir to the Aerial Research Lab. (To be continued.
