Long Yi pointed upwards, and both Old Stone Fist and the Elder of Fire Rock looked up at the roots on the ceiling that kept trying to spread downwards.
"What happened here?" Long Yi asked hastily.
Old Stone Fist, hearing the question, gave a wry smile.
"Who knows? One day, a teor suddenly streaked across the sky and crashed to the ground. Before we could co to our senses, the seed had already taken root and sprouted, and then all of us felt the power we drew from beneath the earth start to weaken," said Old Stone Fist.
Indeed, the day the seed arrived, the nearby Mountain Giants imdiately sensed sothing was wrong. After all, no other race in this universe could possibly have a closer connection to the earth than the Mountain Giants.
The Mountain Giants who detected the anomaly imdiately began an investigation and eventually realized that it was this seed that had sapped the power that belonged to them. To take back their rightful power, the Mountain Giants launched an assault, but the outco was disastrous. Countless Mountain Giants went forward one after another, still unable to stop the germination of the seed and the spread of its roots. At that ti, almost all tribes of the Mountain Giants started resistance movents, but none erged victorious. All they could do was watch helplessly as the strength within their rocky bodies grew weaker and weaker, and when the power of the rocks vanished, perhaps that would mark the extinction of the Mountain Giant race.
However, at this ti, mbers of each tribe who possessed the power of Sacred Rock heard a call from beneath the ground. That day, the earth was blasted open by a powerful force that ca from the Living Tree underground—this was the na given to it by the Mountain Giants.
The Tree of Life gathered all the Mountain Giants underground, where they gained an even greater strength of the rocks, several tis stronger than what they had on the surface!
The Mountain Giants, who had never experienced such imnse power, were imdiately filled with confidence. By then, the rock layers on the planet’s surface had been completely taken over by the Destruction Tree, and quite clearly, those shallow rock layers were not enough to satisfy the Destruction Tree. In fact, the energy within the surface rock layers all ca from below, and when the Mountain Giants moved underground, the Tree of Life imdiately locked all the power of the rocks there.
The Destruction Tree, devoid of any energy, had no choice but to extend its roots downward, but the Tree of Life was bound to not allow it.
And so, the standoff began.
The Tree of Life currently held the advantage, but there was a significant risk at play. The entire planet had already been occupied by the Destruction Tree, and although it could not draw any energy from below, it was absorbing all the energy from the sunlight. The energy bestowed by sunlight on a whole planet is exceedingly powerful. Without sunlight, the Tree of Life underground would no longer have any source of energy.
Therefore, in addition to relying on the Tree of Life, the Mountain Giants were not idle; they too were constantly searching for ways to destroy the Destruction Tree.
That’s why, even now, so Mountain Giants were active on the surface, and there were always people ready to respond from below; hence it should be considered lucky that Long Yi was there.
While listening to Old Stone Fist’s description, Long Yi and his companions followed Old Stone Fist back to the new Black Rock Tribe. As soon as they arrived, Stone Fist leaped out. After a while unseen, Stone Fist had grown a great deal taller than Long Yi!
"Brother Long Yi! You actually ca back! I didn’t really believe it!" Stone Fist rushed over, grabbing Long Yi in a bear hug, his fra, now a good deal wider than Long Yi’s, nearly suffocating him.
"But you haven’t grown much, have you? You haven’t been eating well, have you, maybe a bit malnourished?" Stone Fist said bluntly.
Old Stone Fist covered his face, speechless. It was obvious that Long Yi was not a Mountain Giant! And the most direct proof was the girls behind Long Yi. Not to ntion their slender waists, how could that possibly look beautiful? It simply didn’t fit a Mountain Giant’s sense of aesthetics!
But Old Stone Fist couldn’t be bothered to ntion this. From the very first day Long Yi had appeared, Old Stone Fist had thought that Long Yi did not belong here, and he had been proven right. But that didn’t matter; although they hadn’t known each other for long, he rather liked Long Yi.
"Ahem, let’s put aside the issue of nutrition for now, has this Destruction Tree caused any losses to the Mountain Giants?" Long Yi eagerly wanted to know the extent of the mistake he had made.
"Losses? Shouldn’t be much, a few unlucky fellas got shredded. After being brought down, they revived, and they seem quite happy about it. "Actually, I ca back this ti to make up for my mistake. I will help you completely destroy that Destruction Tree!" Long Yi said.
Long Yi briefly explained the origin of the Destruction Tree and when he ntioned it was a seed of the last mont, Old Stone Fist laughed out loud, "That fool, picked the wrong planet! Co to our planet and just wait to starve to death! Ah hahaha!"
Long Yi looked at Old Stone Fist speechlessly; this enormous threat that had alard an entire plane seed like nothing in his eyes, not just Old Stone Fist, even the Elder of the Fire Rock Tribe had little to say. In their eyes, such a matter seed utterly trivial.
"So this ti, I am going to make this Tree of Destruction completely disappear from our plane!"
Long Yi had no intention of continuing to flee, he was about to head to the middle plane. How could he possibly just walk away if a seed like this one remained here?

"Hmm, those Molten Beasts are actually ours, believe it or not?" Long Yi pointed at the huge Molten Beasts in the distance.
The Elder of the Black Rock Tribe wanted to shake his head, but he imdiately recalled the first ti he saw Long Yi.
"Hey! Co here!" Long Yi simply called out to the distance.
Instantly, the largest of the Molten Beasts shrank down to the size of a small dog and ran over to Long Yi, affectionately circling around him. Then, the magma dispersed, revealing the core inside, which Long Yi picked up: "Eh? This actually bears your magic signature..." Long Yi handed the core to Ai Lin, who took a look and indeed, there was her own magic signature on it.
A magic signature is actually just a mark, used to prove that it was created with her magic, so that if there were any problems in the future, the right person could be found quickly for repairs.
