"This is the tomb where the dead rest eternally—a box of evil that should never be opened. An ancient malevolent life form is sealed here, and any attempt to peer inside would bring about a great disaster. Leave this place and never return!"
The voice emanated from within the armor, sounding like the reverberation of tal.
"Perhaps you can tell what happened here; maybe I can help you," Long Yi said.
"That evil being was sealed here by the Giants, and aside from the Giants, no one can help us," the armor replied.
"I can," Long Yi asserted.
"Prove it." As it spoke, the armor extended a hand, upon which an intricate Array erged. This was a rare Giant magic, and if it were just an ordinary researcher, they would likely find it very difficult to understand its principles. But Long Yi was different; with the help of the Giant tablet, he quickly deciphered the magic. Long Yi extended his hand, channeled the Giants’ power, and the Array was broken.
"You have solved the puzzle. According to the predetermined protocol, we will lead you into the core area. However, your lives will be greatly threatened, and we cannot be held responsible for that," the armor stated.
"Yes, I understand," Long Yi acquiesced.
"Follow ."
The suit of armor turned and proceeded onward, and Long Yi and his group imdiately followed closely behind.
"All of this happened very suddenly," the armor recounted.
In the distant past, this planet had been very prosperous. With the Giants’ assistance, the life on this planet began to evolve rapidly, developing its own flourishing civilization. However, just as they were preparing to march toward other planets, a massive teorite suddenly landed on this planet. And afterward, the teorite started to grow roots, extending all the way down and completely spreading into the planet’s core! All these events transpired very quickly, and in less than a year, the planet was entirely under the control of the teorite. The inhabitants of the planet were likewise controlled.
Every resident of the planet could feel their life force and mana being drained by the ground. Research proved that the life force and mana being drained all converged upon the teorite!
Not long after, the teorite began to sprout, growing into a giant tree. And under the sunlight, the canopy of the great tree began to cover the entire planet!
By this ti, the Giants had left the planet, and everyone could only rely on themselves. Although no one knew exactly what had happened, everyone knew that the tree was a monster, and if it were not completely eradicated, it would be the source of nutrients for all life on the planet!
But, having lost their energy, they were simply unable to contend with this monster.
Fortunately, they had another way.
That was these armors, inspired by Giant technology, which enabled them to create the suits that would protect them from the effects of the great tree. Initially, they attempted to attack the tree, but they quickly realized that ordinary attacks would never work against a terrifying monster that fed on a planet. Furthermore, not only were their attacks ineffective, the tree was even provoked to angrily absorb everyone’s magic and life force while also condensing seeds!
When the first seed was launched into the cosmos, everyone knew that this phenonon would inevitably recur on another planet.
And so, the people of this planet made a decision: they would keep this tree trapped on this planet forever!
With the power of Giant technology, they created an astonishing device that used the planet as its foundation, pulling magma from beneath the ground and covering the entire sky! Deprived of sunlight, the tree imdiately withered away—the canopy vanished, the trunk shriveled up, and in the end, only the original teorite remained. As retribution, the teorite frantically drained all the life energy from the planet. Then, the teorite fell into a dormant state.
At that mont, Long Yi and Little Zi exchanged glances.
The story mirrored a similar version they had heard before, on the planet of the Mountain Giants, where there was also an Underground City and a tree. But the tree on that planet was benevolent, intended to purify the planet of anti-life monsters.
Similar stories, both featuring a tree, yet the trees were different—one good, the other evil. Could there be another tale of a tree within another Underground City?
"If all life had disappeared, where did these lives outside co from?" Long Yi asked the armor.
"We created them to prevent anyone from intruding here," the armor replied.
"Well then, what about you saying that the Giants helped you seal it? What’s that about?" Long Yi inquired.
"Several years after everything happened, the Giants returned here and learned of these events. They were quite surprised too, but they respected our decision and used a special device to fully seal the teorite."
"Why didn’t the Giants destroy it at that ti?"
"Because once it dies, this planet would also collapse instantaneously," the armor explained.
"After all, this is already a dead planet, so what if it collapses?"
"If this planet were to collapse, the seeds hidden within it would be released, and those seeds would be propelled into the entire Plane through hyperspace, sothing even the Giants cannot stop. The Giants had once promised to create a massive spatial collapse for us, ensuring that our entire planet disappeared. But then the Giants vanished without a trace."
Long Yi nodded. That must have been when the war with the Dragon Clan started.
Could this be a coincidence?
"Seeds? Are there many?" Ai Lin asked softly.
"Beneath your feet, throughout the interior of the entire planet, are its seeds."
This ti, Long Yi suddenly felt a tingling sensation on his scalp.
The entire interior of the planet was full of seeds! Just one seed was already so formidable—what would happen if all these seeds were released? How much longer could this Plane exist?
"It seems we’ve beco involved in a rather extraordinary event," Long Yi said.
"I don’t know why, but suddenly, the ground beneath my feet feels like it could explode at any mont," Little Zi muttered, shrinking her neck.

Indeed, this was a problem not even the Giants could solve satisfactorily in the past. What could a few of them possibly do now?

Long Yi said.
Searching on the Giant’s tablet, Long Yi found records regarding this matter. There were not many records about that tree, that seed, because the Giants had missed it repeatedly in the past.
Upon entering the core area, ahead was a silver, semicircular building. The building was surrounded by Giant script.
"Warning, highest-level threat."
Long Yi read aloud one of the lines.
To be considered a highest-level threat by the Giants ant this thing was certainly powerful enough.
Approaching the base of the building, the armored figure stopped: "We can’t go any further, nor can we open this door."
Long Yi nodded, noticing a scepter slot in front of the door. He took out the Giant’s scepter, tapped it lightly, and imdiately an alarm sounded throughout the building.
"Warning! Authorization to open the main seal door has been granted! All irrelevant personnel must imdiately evacuate the area!"
The door opened, and Long Yi and his group entered.
Behind the door was a huge teor crater, and in the center of the crater was an enormous teorite.
Or rather, it was a seed.
Nearly a hundred ters in diater, pitch-black, and it seed as if light was shimring within it.
Boom!
The main door closed, and the seal was reinstated.
"You all wait here, I’ll go check it out," Long Yi said.
"Forget it, let’s go together. Being this close, it won’t make a difference to stand here," Ai Lin said.
"I’ll lead."
Silver Light moved ahead without waiting for a response; its body, composed of Shadow Silver, feared no energy attacks.
And Xiaodie also silently spread her wings. Although she didn’t have much offensive power for the mont, her ability to devour energy was enough to make a significant impact at a critical ti.
The Giants’ biggest problem back then was that they didn’t study and analyze this seed right away. Although the Giants were powerful, they were not omnipotent; their strength was built on the foundation of technology, and the basis of technology is research and analysis. The seed’s appearance was so sudden that the Giants didn’t have ti to study and analyze it. By the ti the Giants arrived, the seed had already begun to be sealed.
However, now it was different, Long Yi had ti.
But how to collect a sample?
The seed was surrounded by roots, and Long Yi could see faint energies flowing through the roots. He found the most delicate root and dared to clip it off.

Such crude modifications had, however, left the strange organism with several flaws.
For example, presently, in the absence of sunlight, the entire tree was in complete dormancy. The person who initially tampered with the tree had made it incredibly powerful, but ultimately couldn’t make it deviate from the nature of a tree.
Now the question arose, how to deal with this thing?
If it were just a simple plant, then the solution would be easy, but this tree was conscious! It was currently dormant, and once it awakened, no one knew what would happen!
Long Yi tried to infuse it with the Giant’s power, but the large seeds showed no reaction. Little Zi tried to resonate with her psychic power, but again there was no response.
Apparently, this approach alone was definitely not sufficient.
At that mont, Long Yi also had a tree within him; it was on the Mountain Giant’s planet, where the energies of six different types of rock fused to form a life force with an image that signified unending vitality.

Long Yi attempted to guide out a fraction of the small tree’s power at his fingertips, condensing it into strands of vibrant green. As soon as this green appeared, the previously dormant seeds burst into spectacular red light. A deep, booming sound erupted, and countless roots from the depths surged toward Long Yi!
