Jacob Lee lowered his head, looking incredulously at the marks on his body.

In his ears was the sound of water coming from the bathroom.

Soone was taking a shower!

Jacob was on alert; he froze for about ten seconds, then imdiately lifted the covers and found his clothes from a pile of mixed n’s and won’s clothing on the floor.

Finally, he found his clothing beneath a pair of won’s panties.

He tossed the woman’s clothing aside and put his own on.

After Jacob put on his pants, the sound of water over there stopped.

Jacob glanced back, and through the glass door, it was possible to see the outline of a woman’s body in the bathroom.

She was drying herself with a towel.

She was putting on a robe.

And Jacob, at this mont, stared at that silhouette with wide eyes...

In disbelief!

Jacob even forgot to quickly put on his clothes, watching in a daze as the woman in the bathroom put on her clothes and then opened the bathroom door to co out.

When he finally saw the woman’s face clearly, Jacob was stunned again.

She was wearing a white bathrobe, her hair wet.

The freshly washed face revealed overly flawless skin, like cream, white and tender.

When she saw Jacob, she smiled slightly, "Awake?"

"Why are you here?"

Jacob watched her sit down in front of the dressing table, and only then ca to his senses to ask that question.

But the other party didn’t respond.

Jacob beca anxious, "Thea Yates, I’m asking you, why are you here! Why are we like this!"

Just from the silhouette he saw on the door earlier, Jacob recognized her.

They had known each other for fifteen years, had been together for seven, and Jacob had been with her for six years.

Just by a silhouette, he could recognize her.

Thea calmly turned around to look at Jacob, "Co here and help dry my hair."

She completely ignored Jacob’s questions.

Jacob didn’t move, standing in place, repeatedly and impatiently asking, "Why am I here, why are we here?"

"You promised that as long as I kept my hair long, you’d always help dry it. You’ve broken this promise for five years, are you going to keep breaking it?"

Jacob stared at her, and after a long pause, asked, "Do you find this funny?"

He seed to have given up on questioning for reasons.

He grabbed the clothes from the bed and started putting them on.

Once dressed, he turned and walked away.

Thea hurriedly stood up, "Jacob Lee! Are you still going to find Chloe Grant?"

"Yes!" Jacob shouted without turning back, "Today is the day we get our marriage certificate."

"She doesn’t love you at all. You don’t love her either. Isn’t your marriage a joke? Who was the one who always told that marriage is sacred, and only by loving each other can you enter into marriage, to be worthy of the vows of marriage.

So, what is this to you?"

Thea questioned forcefully.

With his back to her, Jacob seed to be suppressing so kind of emotion, his hand clenched tightly at his side.

But, in the end, he couldn’t control himself.

He abruptly turned back, shouting angrily, "The one who should be asking what this is, is ! Back then, you were the one who left first!

You told you saved a patient, but you could never have children again. I said I didn’t mind, I had no parents, and there was no throne back ho to inherit. If you were afraid of being lonely, we could adopt; if you didn’t want to, we could live this way for life.

But what happened?

What was the answer you gave ?"

"Thea, think back, what was the answer you gave back then!"

The last sentence, Jacob completely shouted, the final words breaking, also announcing his emotions at this mont!
