Chloe Grant lowered her head, hurriedly checking her outfit for anything untidy or too conspicuous. She looked up again, quickly tidying up the arrangent in front of the car.

"He he he he..."

She stamred, and after a long pause, managed to say, "How did he co back?"

Chloe Grant felt like crying.

The car sped down the road, finally entering a bustling street before reaching the destination. Lucas stopped the car.

"Just ca back today," Lucas replied, parking the car and unbuckling the seatbelt.

Without even bothering to open the door, he jumped out of the car, walked around the front to open the door for Chloe Grant.

"What does this an now?" Chloe Grant held onto the seatbelt, reluctant to get out of the car.

Lucas took off his sunglasses, squinting slightly, his naturally ruddy lips opening and closing, "Eating."

Chloe Grant still clutched the seatbelt, laughing wryly, "How about... I just don't go. I rember there's sothing I need to do at school, I think I..."

"No way!"

Lucas leaned in, yanked off Chloe Grant's seatbelt, pinched her face, "Today I need to introduce soone new, you're soone who cannot be absent."

"Wha... What do you an?" As Lucas teased Chloe Grant, she lost all sense of rationality.

"Soone very important to , it would be aningless if you're not there." Lucas replied earnestly.

And as his words fell, Chloe Grant's mind exploded, followed by a tingling sensation in her heart, full of expectation and nervousness.

Could he be talking about her?

Because they finally broke through that barrier last night, so when Lucas said he needed to introduce soone new, was it actually a surprise confession for her?

The happiness ca too abruptly, leaving Chloe Grant at a loss. Without any resistance, she was pulled out of the car by Lucas, heading into the only seven-star hotel in the Imperial City, where a waiter respectfully led them to a private room on the 66th floor of the restaurant.

"He hasn't arrived yet," Lucas said casually.

Chloe Grant, who was still in a romantic daze, snapped back to reality upon hearing this, instinctively scanning the room and its arrangent.

Her gaze finally fixed on the irregularly set dining table, and she hurriedly bent down to line up everything in one direction, ensuring there wasn't a single tilt.

She seed to hear footsteps approaching, making Chloe Grant even more nervous.

In the hallway outside the private room, a neatly dressed waiter was leading a man this way.

The man wore a simple black suit, but his aura was powerful, carrying a coldness that kept others at bay, invoking fear.

He reached out, adjusting his tie, revealing a wristwatch of modest design but imnse value, flashing a sharp glow.

"Mr. Morgan," the waiter stopped at the door of the private room, politely pushing the door open.

Inside, Chloe Grant stiffened at the sound, standing up abruptly like a good student facing the man at the door.

Three years had passed, yet he was still as sharp and dignified as in her mory, his noble coldness and breathtakingly handso visage akin to a piece of art.

In a full suit, paired with his stern deanor, it should have been austere, yet he wore it with an irresistible appeal.

Grandpa Morgan of the Imperial City, unsurpassed and proud.

Those words were no exaggeration.

Matthew Morgan.

The person Chloe Grant feared most since childhood, the demon, had returned—her days would not be easy now~

"Brother," Lucas called out.

Even the arrogant and flamboyant Lucas, in front of Matthew Morgan, naturally beca restrained.

It showed just how strong this man's presence was.

"Uncle Morgan," Chloe Grant stamred, nervousness taking over.
