Chloe Grant drove herself back ho.
When she returned, Jodie Cooper was just arriving, and Benjamin Grant was not around.
Jodie was imdiately shocked upon seeing Chloe’s swollen face, and hurried over, "Who hit you, baby? Was it Lily Grant, or Sophia Fraser? Which one!"
Jodie’s face instantly grew serious, very stern.
Chloe took her hand and shook her head, "None of them."
She seed very down, her face pale as she walked to the sofa and threw herself onto it.
Jodie followed her over, "Then who did this?"
She was about to sit down but then rembered Chloe’s swollen face, so she quickly ran to the fridge to get so ice and went to the kitchen to boil an egg.
Jodie crouched in front of Chloe, wrapping the ice pack in a towel and helping her rub her face.
"What happened?" Jodie pressed on.
Chloe looked at Jodie with a bitter smile, "I was... hit by my future Aunt Morgan."
The remark was clearly sarcastic.
Jodie was taken aback, imdiately thinking of Lucas Morgan.
But before Jodie could say anything, Chloe spoke first, "From the mont I saw her, I kept telling myself to be sensible, to stay calm, wait for him to co back and explain, but..."
"I’m still very upset."
Jodie frowned. Was Chloe talking about Lucas Morgan?
Impossible.
Could it be... Matthew Morgan?
"Was it Michael Taylor who did it?" Jodie guessed.
Chloe quickly wiped away her tears, and before she could answer, a voice ca from the doorway, "It wasn’t who hit her."

Jodie furrowed her brows in irritation, "Then who was it, really!"
Jodie had no patience and a bad temper, so she nearly shouted her words.
As she spoke, she even started to roll up her sleeves, "I swear I’ll go and give a good beating until their face is unrecognizable!"
As Jodie was saying this, George Stern walked in.
Upon hearing and seeing Jodie’s deanor, his face was full of disdain.
This woman... so rude!
"I dropped you off, so I’m heading out," George said, then turned to leave.
Jodie heard him, and when she looked back, George had already left, and she didn’t see his face.
Jodie didn’t care anyway.
Since Chloe wasn’t talking, Jodie went over to ask Michael, "Michael, tell , what really happened? Who bullied Chloe?"
Michael glanced at Chloe, then weakly said, "I don’t know. It seems like there was a conflict with the mother of Grandpa Morgan’s child.
I was in the living room at the ti, and they were in the garden. Afterward, when Young Master Morgan ca in, he asked to co over to accompany Chloe."
While Michael was speaking, he glanced at Chloe.
Jodie was thoroughly annoyed, walked over, and asked, "What do you an, Grandpa Morgan’s son’s mother? What does that an! Was it her who hit you?"

I’m telling you, I don’t care about whatever bullshit relationships there are. What you should care about is how to get back at them for this swollen face of yours."

Jodie had no patience to wait for Chloe to respond, and after cursing, she turned around and walked out.
As she walked past Michael, he instinctively reached out to grab her arm, but Jodie dodged it.
