He carried himself like the king of the world as he walked towards Chloe Grant.

Every ti he saw Chloe Grant, he rembered being kicked by Matthew Morgan into a small room, while he had to watch them flaunting their affection from outside the door!

Chloe Grant hadn’t expected that the person Isabella Gray asked her to greet would be George Stern!
She still vividly rembered the day at the Stern family banquet on the second floor, when Matthew Morgan kicked him into the small room.
It’s obvious that George Stern knows about her relationship with Matthew Morgan.
Chloe Grant just feared that she’d give things away.
"Uncle Morgan, George Stern is here..."
Chloe Grant was following behind Matthew Morgan, speaking in a small voice, as if she had done sothing wrong, discussing a rescue plan.
Eager yet cautious, and extrely nervous.
"Oh."
In contrast to Chloe Grant’s emotions, Matthew Morgan was quite calm, giving just one word and not elaborating.
"Doesn’t he know about us... that thing..." Chloe Grant panicked and hurried to catch up with Matthew Morgan, "What’s he here for?"
"Don’t know."
"Uncle Morgan!"
Matthew Morgan’s answer was too calm, and it made Chloe Grant both displeased and anxious, causing her to stomp her foot and cry out instinctively.

Lucas Morgan sat on the sofa, a gentle smile at the corner of his mouth.
George Stern grumbled internally: Just don’t like this kind of woman, always complaining, so weak, no endurance at all! Hmph!
It was Isabella Gray’s first ti hearing Chloe Grant complaining to her, and she was montarily stunned, but the next second she turned to glare at Matthew Morgan, exclaiming, "Matthew Morgan!"
"I’ve told you many tis, nieces are to be cherished, not bullied. You’re so grown, yet you bully the younger ones, aren’t you ashad?"
Isabella Gray admonished him without holding back.
Matthew Morgan did not respond, simply cast a faint glance at Chloe Grant and suddenly smirked.
Chloe Grant t that gaze and felt a chill run down her spine, hastily hiding behind Isabella Gray.
"With you as her backing, I’ll bear that in mind." Matthew Morgan shifted his gaze away and replied.
Isabella Gray glared at him, "Glad you know, no fooling around!"
She was quite busy at the mont, so she didn’t say much more, just instructed Chloe Grant, "If your Uncle bullies you again, just scream out loud, I’ll definitely help sort it out!"
