"I thought I was giving up on him, but years later I realized I was giving up a lifeti of love."

Jodie Cooper paused after saying this and mumbled, "The original words don’t seem like that... oh well, never mind!"

She waved her hand, "Whether the original words are like this or not, the aning is the sa anyway!"

She was incredibly serious, "Chloe Grant, you’ve been timid for 22 years, why not take the initiative for him once, what’s the big deal?"

Jodie Cooper’s words suddenly left Chloe Grant stunned.

Timid for 22 years, taking the initiative for him once... what’s the big deal?

For so reason, after hearing Jodie Cooper’s words, Chloe Grant felt a surge of energy inside her, filling her with strength.

Suddenly, she smiled...

"Yeah, taking the initiative once, what’s the big deal?"

Matthew Morgan had done so much for her, so... if she just moved a little closer to him... what’s the big deal?

"Yeah, that’s the right way to think. Go wash up, and then dress up nicely."

Jodie Cooper instructed.

As Chloe Grant was tidying herself up, Jodie Cooper headed out of the room.

She happened to run into Benjamin Grant coming out of his room on the first floor with a backpack.

"You rascal, where are you going?" Jodie Cooper asked as she descended the stairs.

"Just going for a walk." Benjamin Grant replied simply.

He glanced upstairs, "Her life seems pretty ssed up, I thought it would be much better."

"What else did you expect! Her parents divorced, kept it from her for over ten years, and it got exposed in the end. She doesn’t even have a ho, it’s good enough she’s not out for revenge against society." Jodie Cooper rolled her eyes and glared at Benjamin Grant, "She once wanted to go abroad, but her dad didn’t want her, and her mother refused too.

Because they each have their own families!"

In the last sentence, Jodie Cooper almost glared at Benjamin Grant, speaking through gritted teeth.

Benjamin Grant shifted his gaze, "I’ll head out first."

"Don’t get lost, or maybe I might have sothing to say to her. As for how she’ll react... I really don’t know." Jodie Cooper clapped her hands, looking unconcerned.

As Benjamin Grant turned his head, she imdiately turned around and headed upstairs.

...

A little past ten in the morning, Chloe Grant and Jodie Cooper arrived at the old house.

As soon as they got to the entrance of the living room, they heard the laughter of children playing around.

Upon walking in, they saw Mr. Morgan, who was usually quite serious, chasing after a little toddler, laughing heartily.

It was pretty rare for Chloe Grant to see Mr. Morgan like this.

And the little toddler who was running around, upon seeing Chloe Grant, imdiately stopped, showing a bright, sunny smile and called out in his baby voice, "Eldest Sister Harper!"

After calling out, he dashed over.

Chloe Grant hurriedly caught him, afraid he might fall.

"Eldest Sister Harper, hold Loren!" the little toddler pleaded, pouting his rosy lips adorably.

Chloe Grant laughed and picked up Cloudy.

The little toddler held Chloe Grant’s face and suddenly gave her a big kiss on the cheek.

"Eldest Sister Harper, you look really pretty today."

"Wow, what a sweet little mouth." Jodie Cooper chuckled upon hearing this.

The little toddler turned his head, smiling at Jodie Cooper, "Big Sis, you’re pretty too, just not as pretty as my Eldest Sister Harper."

The little guy was quite protective, snuggling into Chloe Grant’s arms as he spoke.

Chloe Grant laughed directly and was just about to tease Jodie Cooper... when she happened to see Matthew Morgan coming downstairs.

He was wearing the simplest loungewear, looking quite relaxed, yet he couldn’t hide his imposing presence.

He ca down with a rather serious expression, "Daniel Morgan, co over here."
