Looking at the empty street, with only a few cars occasionally passing by, Chloe Grant felt a deep sense of desolation.

Chloe Grant lowered her eyes with a sense of loss, a bitter smile on her lips, "Nothing... just thought soone was behind ."

Two years may seem long, but in reality, it passed so quickly that it was astonishing.
In two years, she was still that little girl from before, without much change or maturity, just like that.
But it seems there were indeed changes.
And in these two years, Chloe Grant’s life was both calm and tumultuous.
The calmness: Matthew Morgan did not appear in her world even once in these two years, yet he still appeared in everyone else’s world.
He was still the most noble and wealthy Mr. Morgan in Imperial City, still the unrivaled Grandpa Morgan, the eldest young master of the Morgan family;
The tumultuousness: she constantly thought of him, on sleepless nights, looking at the moonlight outside the window, as if she could see his face.
In the dreamy nights, he seed to co to her side, pulling the thin blanket over her.
But when she woke up startled, facing a room of silence, she could only smile bitterly.

In her junior year, Chloe Grant’s school arranged an internship.
Interning at a radio station, responsible for a light-hearted cody segnt, her position was a small assistant.
What was funny was that, at the sa station, Lily Grant and Sophia Fraser were also there, the three of them being assistants to the three major hosts of the cody segnt.
They were three rival hosts each with an assistant they held a grudge against.
Chloe Grant sotis wondered if the school had arranged it on purpose.
Ever since the ti she had a fallout with Sophia Fraser and Ava Woods, Chloe Grant applied to change dorms and had a lukewarm relationship with her new roommates ever since.
Zoe Graham originally wanted to go with her, but unfortunately, there was only one bed available, so only Chloe Grant went.
When leaving the dorm, Chloe Grant and Zoe Graham’s relationship remained good. With Sophia Fraser and Ava Woods, however, it thoroughly faded.
When they t, they wouldn’t fight anymore, but there wouldn’t be any interaction either.
Passing by each other as strangers was best; sotis Ava Woods would intentionally make sarcastic remarks, sotis Chloe Grant would hold back, sotis she wouldn’t, leading to verbal conflicts, but nothing too serious.
Running into Sophia Fraser was expected, but eting Lily Grant was completely unexpected.
Even though she was in performing arts, she ended up interning at the radio station; it was peculiar.
"Chloe, you’re coming with to the Imperial Club for dinner tonight."
The speaker was the host nad "Dreamlike Life," whom everyone at the station called Little Dream.
She was very nice, taught Chloe Grant a lot, and always brought her along to any events or dinners.
