Chloe Grant felt a severe acidity in her heart, mixed with intense pain.
"I might really beco your aunt in the future, you know." Sophia Fraser said with a smile.
Simultaneously, the waiter began serving the dishes.
"Oh, right, are you coming to the Morgan family estate for dinner tonight? Mrs. Morgan invited our family over." Sophia started to put things inside.
"Oh, probably not..." Chloe instinctively declined.
"Well, that’s a pity. I just asked Matthew if you’re coming tonight because if you’re here, I might feel less nervous." After Sophia finished speaking, she secretly covered her mouth with her hand and added, "Actually, tonight’s dinner with the two families feels like eting the parents, and I’m really nervous about it; it sounds so official."
"Is Uncle Morgan coming back too?" Chloe only caught this part of the sentence.
Sophia picked up a plate again and put the items into the hotpot, "Yeah, it’s dinner with the Morgan family and the Fraser family together. As the main characters, we can’t escape."
As she spoke, Sophia sighed again, "It’s pretty embarrassing. I’m sure I’ll be teased tonight. Especially your Mr. Morgan, I bet he won’t let off."
Sophia had a troubled expression.
Chloe kept her head down, using chopsticks to start eating but feeling a bit absent-minded.
She didn’t know what she was feeling inside, just felt particularly uncomfortable.
A bit like crying, a bit wronged, it was painful and sour...

After finishing the al with Sophia, Chloe parted ways with her.
At six in the evening, Chloe appeared punctually at the Morgan family estate.
The Morgan and Fraser family dinner was set for seven o’clock.
Isabella Gray had been busying herself with preparations.
Even though there were servants and a butler at ho to handle such things, Isabella liked to do things herself, feeling it would be more proper this way.
She had just ntioned to the butler to change a dish later when she saw Chloe walk in.
Isabella was both surprised and delighted.
"Chloe, you’ve co back?" she walked over, holding Chloe’s hand, "I called you before to co back and eat, and you said you wouldn’t."
She hadn’t seen Chloe for several days.

"Madam, the people from the Grant family have arrived." The servant at the door ca in to report, leading Chloe’s parents inside.
Chloe turned her head and t her parents, and the three of them were evidently a bit awkward.
Since a few days ago, when Mr. Grant hit Chloe after listening to Lily’s words, the three hadn’t seen each other.
Later, Lily also heard Lucas Morgan explained personally.
The child Lily was pregnant with had already been dealt with, and now she was recuperating at ho.
It’s said that the Woods family had caused trouble after the child was aborted.
Ethan Woods insisted the child was his, causing a huge scene and almost daily harassnt at the Grant family.
Now everyone around knew that Lily, who was supposed to be engaged, was entangled with soone else, giving her fiancé a green hat, resulting in the fiancé not wanting her.
"Chloe..." Vann Stern ca over, "Why have you lost so much weight?"
Alex Grant walked over, exchanged a glance with Chloe, pretended to cough, and said, "How’s your health?"
The tone was evidently stiff.
Isabella could naturally see what was going on, and she chuckled, "Why don’t you all sit on the sofa for a while, I’ll go check the kitchen."
She patted Chloe’s hand, led them to sit on the sofa.
