As Matthew Morgan stepped closer, Chloe Grant instinctively retreated, but Matthew grabbed her arm, preventing her from backing away.
"Stand still, or you’ll fall." He said righteously.
Chloe Grant looked up at him, displeased.
Matthew had already sent all the servants away.
He leaned down and whispered in Chloe’s ear, "The face is the least painful and the easiest place for others to notice. The collarbone, pinky finger, spine, ankle... these places are both painful and discreet."
After Matthew finished speaking, he straightened up naturally.
Chloe looked at him, her expression showing surprise, clearly not comprehending the aning behind his words just now.
He reached out and patted Chloe’s head, "At this mont, I completely agree with what you said. If you’re unhappy, don’t hold back, just get into action."

With that, he turned and headed for the door, closing it behind him as he left.

On the other side, Lily Grant had been watching the interaction between Matthew Morgan and Chloe Grant. He even touched her head, which left Lily feeling imnsely displeased.

Lily sneered deliberately, "I never expected you to choose to go abroad. Such a coward, can’t win and just wants to escape."
Chloe looked at her coldly, "I thought you’d be happy if I went abroad."
Never expected you’d still have to get involved!
"If you leave, how boring it would be for . After all, I still want you to see the scene of dumping Lucas and being with Matthew. If you leave, who’ll be here to watch the show?"
Lily covered her mouth, snickering.

Chloe silently watched Lily with each word she spoke, clenching her fists tightly, stepping closer to her.

This is the Morgan family ho, with Lucas and others just outside discussing matters. What could Chloe Grant do to her?
Besides, Lily just wanted Chloe to confront her!
That way, she could play the victim in front of The Morgans and gain sympathy.
"Actually, if you recorded our conversation or forwarded what I’ve sent you to Lucas, then... Lucas probably wouldn’t want anymore."
Lily said, shaking her head with feigned helplessness.
