Lily quickly waved her hand, accepting the fried dough stick onto an empty plate and placing it aside.
Isabella had just given a piece to Chloe Grant and turned back, looking at her with confusion, "What’s wrong?"
She put down her chopsticks.
Lily smiled helplessly, "Ever since I ca here, you’ve always had the kitchen prepare all kinds of boosts for , been so good to . Thus, I’ve happily gained weight now. I must restrain myself to slim down, otherwise it’ll be hard to lose if I gain anymore."
"Nonsense, you’re already slim, you don’t need to lose weight.
Our Chloe eats what she wants, she’s got a little chub, but it’s cute."
Isabella clearly did not agree with Lily’s viewpoint.
"But Lucas doesn’t like cute things, though." Lily covered her mouth, laughing.
Chloe initially had no intention to engage, just eating her food, but that comnt... struck right at her sore spot!
"Doesn’t like cute things?" Isabella shook her head, expressing confusion, "Didn’t that boy always say before that he liked girls like Chloe, a bit chubby and cute?"
He even said that he would find his girlfriend to resemble Chloe.
"Well, he’s Chloe’s uncle, after all." Lily said this, then quickly bowed her head, turning shy, "Besides, Lucas often takes out to et friends, if I gain weight, wouldn’t it be embarrassing for to et them, making him feel embarrassed? Although he doesn’t mind, I don’t want him to lose face, teased for having a peculiar taste."
Speaking this, Lily had originally been shy, but then sighed with grief, "Once, one of my girlfriends cried to , saying her boyfriend took her to et his friends, but she was too big, and her boyfriend got mocked for having a peculiar taste, and she was heartbroken, unable to get over it."
After speaking, she seed to realize sothing, quickly looking at Chloe, "Chloe, don’t take it to heart, I wasn’t talking about you, you’re fine."
At this mont, Chloe’s expression wasn’t good, she had been enjoying her al, but now the piece of food lay solitary on the side.
She felt extrely upset inside.
Lily’s few words stabbed right into the aching point of her heart, and kept jabbing at it!
Chloe subconsciously touched her slightly chubby belly.
She wasn’t the kind of girl with thin arms, slim legs, a small face, and a petite figure.
Chloe had always hated that little bit of fat on her, in the sumr not daring to wear her favorite tank tops...
