Lin Fan cultivated in this place for so ti and found the undisturbed environnt highly conducive to raising his realm.
The Chaos Secret Realm was still operating.
Qin Yang and Xiang Fei must be ecstatic, having found the best pathway to enhance their strength. They were likely working even harder than him, though the mana absorption seed a bit slow. Clearly, they didn’t dare appear near those major sects pretending to have a secret realm appear.
It made sense, after all.
The Immortal Realm was teeming with powerful figures. Even the slightest carelessness could expose them, and then the consequences would be unimaginably dire.
The young lad who followed him in cultivation hadn’t really been taught anything directly. However, Martial Arts emphasized profound symbolism. Once one grasped the true essence, it felt like divine enlightennt, comprehending unfathomable thods of cultivation in Martial Arts.
On this particular day,
In the distant horizon, a figure erged. Upon closer inspection, it was an elder Immortal. He passed above the Black Mountain but shortly afterward circled back from afar.
Now, he hovered silently above Black Mountain.
"Eh! This place seems peculiar. Could it be that Black Mountain has gained sentience? If so, it could be an invaluable material for Artifact Refining."
Then,
The elder’s eyes glimred with light as he perford so sort of divine skill to probe the foundations of the Black Mountain.
"As I expected."
"The Yin energy here is imnsely heavy. If Black Mountain has truly gained sentience, it must have been forming for at least tens of thousands of years. If used in Artifact Refining, it could produce an extraordinary Immortal Artifact."
The elder was a Demon Cultivator, practicing Immortal Laws that harnessed sinister Yin energy from various regions of the Immortal Realm. He was also a master of Artifact Refining. This Black Mountain alone could be used to forge a trendously powerful Immortal Artifact, capable of obliterating an enemy with one striking blow.
"Soul Capturing Heaven and Earth."
Imdiately, the elder stretched out his five fingers, clawing toward the Black Mountain. He cared little whether any living beings resided there. Even if there were, it made no difference—they would simply be refined alongside the Black Mountain.
Buzz!
The Black Mountain began to quake.
The earth trembled, too. The Black Mountain was about to be uprooted, and the living beings residing atop it scattered in all directions in fear.
Then,
A stream of radiance emanated from within the Black Mountain.
"Please, stop."
An ancient voice resounded. The elder who had undergone transformation and dwelled within the Black Mountain appeared.
"Fellow Daoist, this is the dwelling place of my clan. I beseech you to show so rcy."
He spoke with the utmost respect toward the Immortal before him while acutely aware of his imnse strength, which exerted overwhelming pressure. Were a conflict to start, he knew he would stand no chance.
The Demon Cultivator furrowed his brows, then sneered, "I didn’t expect there to be a transford Immortal Beast residing in Black Mountain. How interesting. It seems fortune favors you, but this place has already caught my eye. Tell , do you think I can simply let it go?"
His tone was sharp, placing absolutely no regard on the elder.
The transford elder said, "Perhaps my clan could relocate, leaving Black Mountain to you, Fellow Daoist?"
"Haha." The Demon Cultivator chuckled before replying, "I am highly skilled in Artifact Refining, and crafting intelligent Immortal Artifacts requires fresh blood as nourishnt. You all, who have lived atop this Black Mountain in such harmony, are naturally one with it. Why leave? Why not et the Black Mountain’s end together?"
As the last word was spoken,
The Demon Cultivator struck out with a palm. Towering mana roared and transford into a colossal hand that descended from the heavens. Though the massive hand hadn’t yet touched the elder, its crushing presence alone made him pale with fright.
He let out a wretched cry.
Unable to endure, he plumted from the sky to the Black Mountain below.
The beings dwelling on Black Mountain gazed in terror at the colossal hand in the sky, trembling all over, utterly devoid of courage to resist.
But at this mont, a voice erged from within the Black Mountain.
"So domineering?"
The voice was calm, yet carried an innate authority that instantly shattered the massive hand. The Demon Cultivator was utterly stunned.
"There’s an expert."
"Where?"
In an instant, he pinpointed Lin Fan’s position, wielding a divine skill. A demonic shadow surged forth, charging toward a certain direction within the Black Mountain.
Again, a voice echoed from the Black Mountain.
"Co to ."
In a flash,
An overwhelming power erupted from the depths of the Black Mountain. A giant hand broke through the void, destroying the demonic shadow with a re flick of the fingers. It then grasped at the Demon Cultivator, who was struck with terror, his expression drastically changing as he fled in panic.
But it was already far too late.
The Demon Cultivator was effortlessly seized by the imnse hand and, with a swift whoosh, was dragged into the depths of the Black Mountain.
Within Black Mountain.
"Father!"
The transford Immortal Beasts gathered around. The elder struggled to stand, taking in the shocking scene before him. He exclaid in awe:
"The hidden expert within Black Mountain has made a move. I never imagined they would be this powerful."
Everything had transpired in a flash.
At the sa ti, he felt a surge of relief.
Thankfully, he hadn’t disturbed this expert earlier. Who would have expected such an existence to intervene?
anwhile, the young lad who had been cultivating alongside Lin Fan gaped, completely dumbfounded. Though he had always known Lin Fan was formidable, he had never witnessed him in action—and certainly hadn’t expected him to be this overwhelming.
He desperately wanted to tell his clan, "I’ve been learning cultivation from this great expert."
But he could only bury this pride deep in his heart.
Within the cultivation ground,
"Who are you?" The Demon Cultivator, completely immobilized, glared at the man ditating calmly on the edge of the cliff, his face full of fury. After all, he hadn’t anticipated losing so quickly.
He hadn’t even had ti to react.
"An ordinary Immortal cultivating here. Your conduct, however, seems rather despicable. Tell , which sect are you from? Why act so arrogantly?" Lin Fan asked.
The Demon Cultivator had been prepared to announce his affiliation, hoping to instill fear in Lin Fan. However, when his eyes fell upon Lin Fan’s face, he blurted out in shock:
"You’re the one cultivating the Immortal Realm’s Forbidden System."
"Lin Fan."
This ti, it was Lin Fan’s turn to look sowhat astonished, as if he had just seen a ghost. My goodness, am I really this famous now?
All the while I’ve been cultivating here...
How has my reputation grown this much?
To think soone as unheard-of as this would recognize —it’s truly unnerving.
"I didn’t realize I’d beco so well-known," Lin Fan remarked with a smile.
The Demon Cultivator sneered, "You’ve already beco a target everyone in the Immortal Realm wants to eliminate. I advise you to release now. Otherwise, you’ll surely die. If I perish here, my sect will inevitably know."
He was trying to intimidate Lin Fan, though he knew deep down this kind of bluffing was utterly pointless.
It wouldn’t fool anyone.
The most critical point was that he had impulsively revealed Lin Fan’s identity. Normally, revealing such information left one with no chance of survival.
Lin Fan chuckled, "Relax. I’m not too interested in you... for now. But I am curious about what sect you belong to and where it’s located. If it’s convenient, why don’t you take there? Hmm?"
At this mont, he was considering potential loot drops.
Since this opportunity had co knocking,
it ought to be cherished.
