"You practiced the Forbidden System of the Immortal Realm?"
Immortal Emperor Futu stared at Lin Fan, his eyes glowing gold, as if attempting to see through Lin Fan, from his surface to his essence, to determine whether the Martial Arts System truly existed.
He couldn’t see through him.
Quite surprising.
As a powerhouse at the Immortal Emperor Realm, he had long cultivated a pair of Emperor Eyes capable of perceiving the essence of all things. Could a re cultivator at the Immortal Monarch level possibly withstand his Emperor Eyes?
"None of your damn business." Lin Fan retorted.
He had already made enemies of four Immortal Emperors.
This ti, he truly swore to the heavens.
If he could survive, he would proactively seek out Evil Forces, deliberately lose himself in cultivating mana, ascend to the Immortal Emperor Realm, and without fail, personally visit each of the four Immortal Emperors to utterly annihilate them.
As a disciple of the Immortal Dao, he should theoretically not harbor such violent emotions, but being pushed to this extent, he was genuinely enraged.
Immortal Emperor Futu was furious as well. The young man before him had repeatedly insulted him.
As an Immortal Emperor, he naturally carried supre authority and dignity—how could he tolerate such blatant humiliation?
"Good, very good," Immortal Emperor Futu sneered. "This emperor has road the Immortal Realm for countless years and has never seen a junior as audacious as you. Fine, then. I shall slaughter you here and now. Let’s see how you keep boasting after that."
"Cultivating the Forbidden System of the Immortal Realm is a heinous cri punishable by death. Even the Heavenly Dao seeks your annihilation!"
Immortal Emperor Futu roared in wrath.
"Destroy your sister!" Lin Fan snapped back.
Just three simple words.
The retort caused Immortal Emperor Futu’s chest to heave in fury.
"Kill!"
With that single word, winds surged, clouds churned, and the atmosphere brimd with apocalyptic destruction.
The other three Immortal Emperors joined the fray. The combined force of the four attacking at once was an overwhelming might that could not be easily resisted.
Mouse Emperor Immortal felt the pressure of annihilation and said in a somber tone, "Friend Lin, it appears we might truly fall here."
"Hahaha! What is there to fear in death? Even in the face of it, one must resist until the end!" Lin Fan laughed loudly.
In his earlier clash with Immortal Emperor Futu, he had already sustained injuries. Even with the Holy Weapon protecting him, he was still deeply wounded. The mana of an Immortal Emperor was too vast, like an endless river, imasurable and inexhaustible.
"Alright! This Mouse has never felt so bold before. Today, I shall join you, Friend Lin, in battling these four Human Clan Immortal Emperors. Let’s show these wretched dogs why they shouldn’t bully a mouse to such extres!" Mouse Emperor Immortal’s aura surged. Then, as if recalling sothing, he added, "Friend Lin, you are different from them. This Mouse admires you."
"Hahaha," Lin Fan laughed. There was little else he could say.
He was, however, contemplating sothing.
Why not just detonate the Holy Weapon? The resulting explosion would undoubtedly unleash even more terrifying power. Even Immortal Emperors might not withstand it.
The problem was that the explosion would also implicate him.
In that case, whether he lived or died afterward would be uncertain.
But it was still better than dying at the hands of these people.
Having made up his mind, Lin Fan began carefully activating the Eternal Divine Furnace. That’s right—he intended to blow up the Eternal Divine Furnace. He wasn’t asking for much; just to carve out a path to survival.
If he died in the process...
That was unlikely.
Why would he think that way?
At the very least, he had mastered Fierce Phoenix Immortal Emperor’s ultimate technique. Being reborn in flas shouldn’t be too much of an issue, right? Although that was easy to say, actually taking action was challenging.
Mouse Emperor Immortal sensed Lin Fan’s energy. Glancing over, he nodded in silent approval, seemingly agreeing with Lin Fan’s current action. While detonating the furnace was risky, it was undoubtedly the last resort.
The four Immortal Emperors simultaneously attacked.
Their combined force was truly unstoppable.
"Damn it! Bring it on! Who’s afraid of you?"
Lin Fan roared, preparing to detonate the Eternal Divine Furnace. Let them co. Who was scared of whom?
Space trembled.
And at that mont—
A familiar yet unfamiliar energy surged from the boundless Void.
"This is—" Lin Fan looked up. The previously calm Void was suddenly split open by a passage. A golden light burst forth from within, colliding with the murderous strikes of the four Immortal Emperors.
No earth-shattering explosion occurred.
That golden light was like a black hole, silently suppressing all the power of the four Immortal Emperors.
But that light wasn’t a Divine Skill.
It was a talisman.
And a very familiar one.
He’d used it before.
Lin Fan couldn’t hold back and shouted loudly, "Son! Save your dad!"
It was the Supre God Talisman.
But imdiately—
He realized the address seed odd. The so-called crazy old man was actually his son, who, due to certain circumstances, had ascended during a tribulation. Given the state he was in at the ti, ascending to the Immortal Realm should have been impossible. He could only have reclaid the Supre God Talisman to restore his Divine Soul.
And now, this son—how could he still be the once-insane old man who followed Lin Fan around?
Sure enough!
A mighty force swept through the air, carrying a mix of anger and helplessness.
Lin Fan felt it.
It was the sensation of a son being deeply upset but still having affection for his father.
Indeed! Raising him hadn’t been in vain.
At this mont—
The four Immortal Emperors clearly hadn’t expected sothing like this to happen. Their expressions were frozen in astonishnt, completely caught off guard.
At the sa ti, they wore heavy looks.
They had sensed that sothing about the aura emitted by this talisman was abnormal.
The talisman hovered between heaven and earth.
Radiating a resplendent glow of imnse power.
"Friend Lin, who has co to save us?" Mouse Emperor Immortal asked.
"My son..." Lin Fan began but hesitated, realizing how strange it sounded to say his son was here to save him. Afraid of being mocked, he thought for a mont, realized he was being needlessly cautious, and stated bluntly, "My son has arrived."
Mouse Emperor Immortal widened his eyes.
He stared at Lin Fan in stunned confusion.
It started to make sense to him.
Your son?
Honestly, if your son’s so strong that a re talisman can startle four Immortal Emperors, then you as his dad... aren’t you a bit too weak?
"Who exactly are you? Why are you obstructing us?" Immortal Emperor Futu asked sternly.
Given that Immortal Venerable had long since disappeared from the Immortal Realm, the talisman had to be under the control of an Immortal Emperor. And this Immortal Emperor’s strength was likely exceedingly profound. Who was this ancient Immortal Emperor capable of such power?
There was no response.
No one paid them any attention.
It was as if they weren’t even worth acknowledging.
Ti passed slowly.
The lack of response stretched on.
The four Immortal Emperors exchanged glances.
Their gazes silently conveyed one thought:
Can we handle this?
Who is he?
Do any of you know him? Or have so sort of connection?
But to their disappointnt—
They had no clues. If they were modern immortals, then the mad old man belonged to the era of ancient Immortal Emperors. The gap in heritage was like heaven and earth.
Totally different leagues.
Of course, they didn’t know this yet.
Ultimately, Immortal Emperors were prideful beings. They could tolerate formidable enemies appearing, but never the lack of resolution to act when faced with a threat.
"Kill. No matter who it is, those who block our path shall perish."
Immortal Emperor Futu could no longer bear the fury.
Without further words, he collaborated with the other three Immortal Emperors to relentlessly strike again. Now that no one had shown up, how could they fear a re talisman?
PS: Will write more tomorrow. Lately, things have been a bit hectic. Currently involved.
