The one leading the disciples to the Abyss Sea was an elder whose cultivation had reached the Three Calamities and Six Tribulations.
He wasn’t following them because anyone needed protection.
It was rely a formality. He would wait outside the Abyss Sea, and if any minor disputes arose, it would naturally fall to him to resolve them.
Of course.
There was usually no trouble at all.
Those willing to venture into the Abyss Sea were all True Disciples. They sought opportunities within the Abyss Sea, sothing ordinary disciples weren’t even qualified to contend for.
The gathering point.
Many disciples had already assembled there, and quite a number of True Disciples were waiting as well.
When Lin Fan arrived, he imdiately drew considerable attention.
They whispered amongst themselves.
The "Little Overlord" of the Taiwu Immortal Sect, an untouchable figure. Who knows how many people envied and resented him? Why is it that your fortune is so good, while we are left as re ordinary disciples? Just thinking about it feels unfair.
And on top of that, a distant mountain peak had already been prepared for him.
They’d heard that it was specifically built for him.
Not even a True Disciple, and he already has his own peak—what’s even the point of rules?
It’s truly infuriating to think about it.
While there is no shortage of True Disciples in the Taiwu Immortal Sect, only a select few stand out.
The competition among them is fierce.
With the opening of the Abyss Sea Mansion, nobody wanted to miss this opportunity. Every single True Disciple, having cultivated to this point, believed they were people of great fortune. No matter what danger they faced, they believed they could turn misfortune into blessing and obtain fateful opportunities.
Lin Fan spotted several familiar faces.
Zhen Tian Peak, Ye Zhen Tian.
Xuanjian Peak, ng Qingyao.
Donglai Peak, Ye Donglai.
True Void Peak, and more.
"Hmph!"
When Ye Zhen Tian saw Lin Fan, he gave no warmth in his expression. Turning his face away with a cold scowl, it was clear he didn’t even want to look at him. Just seeing that face set his chest ablaze with anger.
Half of his Spirit Vein had been extorted by Lin Fan.
How could he possibly show a pleasant expression in front of him?
"Brother Lin has been out for over a month. I didn’t expect him to return so soon—seems like the training was fruitful this ti," Ye Donglai chuckled. He was the type of person who always sought to get along with everyone. Not long ago, he had been slandering Lin Fan in front of Ye Zhen Tian, but so what? He was just doing what he must to keep the peace.
Lin Fan smiled and said, "Just manageable. Nothing too outrageous—only got half of a Spirit Vein this ti."
Ye Donglai wasn’t privy to the details and, hearing Lin Fan’s words, congratulated him repeatedly, feeling envious in his heart. What dumb luck—he had even managed to find a Spirit Vein.
Ye Zhen Tian’s face darkened as his teeth ground audibly, his eyes flaring with murderous intent.
Wasn’t this statent deliberately aid at him?
The Spirit Vein in question was his, half of which Lin Fan had extorted. And now Lin Fan was so brazen as to boast about it publicly—how utterly shaless!
Xu Wushang noticed Ye Zhen Tian’s unpleasant expression and looked on with interest at the interaction between Lin Fan and Ye Zhen Tian. Clearly, there was so hidden story between these two.
"Quiet down. Since everyone is here, let’s depart." The elder in charge stated calmly. With a wave of his sleeve, a radiant light enveloped everyone, and they transford into a streak of radiance that disappeared into the heavens and earth.
The sight was utterly astonishing.
This was a feat none of the True Disciples could accomplish.
After all, this elder—cultivating for thousands of years—though not exceptionally gifted, had still managed to reach the Three Calamities and Six Tribulations stage, demonstrating unusual talent.
Of course.
This elder had only passed the first Calamity within the Three Calamities. He had yet to face the remaining two Calamities and six Tribulations, not because he didn’t want to, but because the difficulty was imnse, inspiring such fear in his heart that he had repeatedly delayed trying.
At this mont.
The elder demonstrated a Divine Skill of the Taiwu Immortal Sect.
Golden Light Across the Earth, a Great Divine Power, capable of traveling tens of thousands of miles a day.
When mastered to a profound level, one could traverse the ends of the earth in the blink of an eye.
Yet this Great Divine Power was notoriously difficult to cultivate. From ancient tis to the present, very few in the Taiwu Immortal Sect had mastered it to such heights.
Abyss Sea.
A streak of golden light descended here.
They had arrived at the Abyss Sea.
"This Great Divine Power is formidable," Lin Fan looked at the elder with newfound respect. Too powerful. If this skill dropped, no one would ever be able to catch him when he escaped—what a thought! Still, it was far from practical.
Lin Fan relied on drop rates.
Any ordinary Divine Skill would take him at least a century to cultivate to a high level, making the prospect nearly impossible.
As for mastering a Great Divine Power, that was entirely out of the question.
Without imnse willpower and comprehension, coupled with millennia of training, achieving such a level was unimaginable.
"Brother Lin, this Great Divine Power is indeed incredible. Golden Light Across the Earth is one of the Taiwu Immortal Sect’s strongest Divine Skills, excelling in speed," Ye Donglai said. "Once we enter the Abyss Sea, could Brother Lin and I team up? If we join forces, we’ll have a greater chance of obtaining opportunities within."
This was Ye Donglai’s third ti visiting the Abyss Sea.
But his luck had been poor.
He had only ever found so inconsequential Spirit Pills or Spirit Grass.
He didn’t hold out much hope for the Abyss Sea.
Still, if he could gain sothing, he wouldn’t be opposed to it. Teaming up with Lin Fan was also a way to build better relations for the future.
At this mont.
Ye Zhen Tian was lost in thought.
He was trapped in an internal struggle.
He wanted to kill Lin Fan within the Abyss Sea. The location was protected by powerful arrays, isolating it from the outside world. Not even True Immortals could break in or sense what happened inside.
To make it flawless, he could fra Lin Fan’s death as the work of disciples from another sect, allowing himself to escape unscathed.
But he wasn’t foolish.
Wei You, the Supre Elder of the Taiwu Immortal Sect, had lived for countless years and experienced innurable sches.
Though Lin Fan wasn’t his equal in terms of cultivation, if Wei You had allowed him to venture outside, it wouldn’t be because of sect protection. When it ca down to danger, even siblings could be cast aside.
So things weren’t as simple as they seed. Wei You must have so hidden safeguard on Lin Fan, sothing capable of defeating formidable enemies.
After contemplating for a mont.
Ye Zhen Tian suppressed his killing intent.
To seek revenge, he needed to beco stronger, to cultivate to the True Immortal Realm. While that realm was enormously difficult, he had an unyielding heart and relentless resolve, confident that he could one day reach it.
When that day ca.
Wiping away his humiliation would be as easy as flipping a hand.
"When the Abyss Sea opens shortly and you enter, be sure not to fight amongst yourselves. If caught, the punishnt will be severe. When encountering disciples of other sects, remain vigilant. Don’t fall for any tricks. Understood?" The elder cautioned them. In the past, disciples had died in the Abyss Sea.
Their deaths were often blad on the Sea’s vicious creatures, but everyone knew the truth. Most died at the hands of their fellow disciples or disciples from other sects.
Treasure could easily cloud judgnt, making betrayal between comrades difficult to avoid.
"Understood, Elder."
The crowd replied in unison.
At this mont.
Lin Fan observed the Abyss Sea. Around them stretched an endless expanse of ocean, with towering waves surging. In the distance, a massive whirlpool ford on the surface of the water, resembling a black hole that could devour the heavens and earth, pulling everything into its abyss.
Before it opened, it resembled a chaotic vortex that consud all, destroying whatever fell into it.
However, upon activation, it would beco a passageway, guiding cultivators inside.
"Rember, within the Abyss Sea Mansion exists a mysterious area where ti flows very differently from the outside world. Beware of cultivating inside. You may miss the window to exit the Abyss Sea, and only then would you face the prospect of being stuck for ten years. Though ten years sounds short, within that space it could an a thousand—or even ten thousand—years. By the next opening, you’d rely be skeletons. Understood?"
The elder issued another warning.
This was all based on the lessons of the past.
Once, soone had stayed inside, hoping to leverage the different flow of ti to reach a higher cultivation level. Tragically, when later explorers found them, they had already turned to dust.
That individual had been in the Nascent Soul Realm at the ti, with a lifespan of several thousand years. Yet even they couldn’t withstand the passage of ti there—it was truly terrifying.
To this day, the exact rate of ti flow within the area remained an enigma.
Lin Fan listened silently, saying nothing.
He found the peculiarities within to be intriguing.
And if disciples from other Immortal Sects were present, should he "extend a dark hand"?
Killing people indiscriminately felt a little unethical.
He made up his mind.
As long as soone harbored even the slightest hostility toward him, he’d kill them on the spot.
Rumble!
Right then.
A deafening roar echoed across the heavens, and the vortex on the sea’s surface began to spin faster and faster. Then, a beam of light shot into the sky, piercing through the clouds.
"Go now. The Abyss Sea has opened. Rember my words, and stay vigilant." The elder waved his hand, sending everyone directly into the Abyss Sea.
The group felt a surge of energy envelop them. In the blink of an eye, they plunged into the vortex.
"How wondrous."
Lin Fan had expected to feel the rush of water against his body but instead felt as though he was gliding over smooth glass.
His body spun incessantly.
It was as though he was traveling through a tunnel, spiraling downward continuously.
"This spinning is making dizzy. The higher-end the Secret Realm, the more domineering the thod of entry," Lin Fan remarked with amazent. Of all the Secret Realms he had entered, only the gravesite atop Kunyu Mountain compared to the excitent he now felt.
This was entering the Cave Mansion of a true great cultivator.
The colloquial term was "striking Immortal fate."
In his heart, he was already wondering what kind of fate awaited him.
His demands weren’t high.
Simple enough.
All he wanted was to obtain the best treasure the mansion had to offer.
Before long.
The scenery around him changed.
It was a paradise.
The air was filled with the scents of blooming flowers, and birds sang lodiously.
"Is this really a Secret Realm?" Lin Fan murmured. He had anticipated a dangerous, ominous environnt, but instead, he found himself in a locale of such natural beauty that it felt almost unreal.
However, as he glanced around, he noticed no one else in sight. Though they’d all entered from the sa portal, there wasn’t another soul present.
Strange—truly strange.
Lin Fan strolled amidst the flower field. Spotting a particularly vibrant blossom brimming with vitality, he reached out, plucked it, and brought it to his nose for a sniff. Its fragrance was indeed alluring.
At that mont.
A pink mist began to emanate faintly from the flower, seeking to seep into Lin Fan’s nasal cavity.
Buzz!
The Reverse Cang Four Saint Set manifested a glowing barrier, scattering the mist.
Lin Fan remained completely unaware.
"Slls amazing," he said.
