"Where did he go?"

King Zhao Xian was looking for Lin Fan’s silhouette, but there wasn’t even a shadow of him on the stage.

To him, he had thought this situation was a guaranteed instant kill, but unexpectedly, this brat was so resilient, lasting until now—it truly caught him off guard.

The spectators were astonished.

"This disciple from Xuanjian Peak sure can endure. Even with King Zhao Xian unleashing so many magical treasures, he still hasn’t been killed."

"And there’s also a spiritual artifact. Do you think this is all just a sham to trick us out of our spirit stones?"

It couldn’t be said their suspicion was without reason.

So many magical treasures have been used, yet they still haven’t defeated the opponent—how useless must that be?

King Zhao Xian, hearing the surrounding chatter, felt his ntality cracking. Being doubted by the crowd—how could he tolerate this?

Scamming for spirit stones?

Do you really think Zhen Tian Peak is that poor?

At this mont.

King Zhao Xian sensed danger approaching. When he focused his gaze, he found Lin Fan had already appeared right before him. His heart wildly shook, but he feigned calmness, relying on the confidence his various magical treasures gave him to remain unruffled.

The Flying Smoke Spirit Sword had also locked onto its target.

Whoosh!

It sliced through the air.

"Slash!"

Lin Fan was done retreating. Even if you had a turtle shell, I’d break through it.

Nearly four hundred years of mana condensed into a single point.

Innate Divine Ability activated.

Mortal martial art, Bull Trampling Mountain Power unleashed.

He stomped fiercely on the ground, the Flowing Light Saber in his hand erupting in an extre burst of blinding light, slashing downward.

King Zhao Xian felt the ferocity of this force—his pupils widened, his hair fluttering in the surge of sword energy—yet recalling the Golden Silk Radiant Armor he wore, his heart settled sowhat.

Not that he didn’t want to move.

It was mostly that the speed of this saber was simply too overwhelming, leaving him no ti to react.

Boom!

The saber landed.

The Golden Silk Radiant Armor’s light barrier materialized, blocking the strike.

"Break for !" Lin Fan roared, his power erupting fully.

Crack!

A crisp sound echoed.

"How is this possible?" King Zhao Xian was struck with disbelief—the Golden Silk Radiant Armor he wore shattered, its protective light barrier instantly vanishing, as an indomitable force slamd against him.

He was hurled backward, crashing into the light barrier created by the Banner of the Sealed Land, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood. His once rosy complexion abruptly turned pale.

And at this exact mont.

The Flying Smoke Spirit Sword lunged, aiming to pierce Lin Fan’s body. Lin Fan forcefully twisted his body, abruptly spinning his head around, reaching out with five fingers toward the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword.

Innate Divine Sharpness activated.

At the sa ti, mana gathered in all ten of his fingers, grasping the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword head-on.

All at once.

The grating sound of tal could be heard.

Lin Fan’s five fingers showed countless cracks, blood spilling profusely. If not for the Innate Divine Ability, trying to grab a blade this sharp with his current mana would’ve likely rendered his hand useless.

"What?"

The crowd around widened their eyes as though witnessing a ghost—he actually caught a spirit sword barehanded.

Far away at Xuanjian Peak, ng Qingyao’s gaze pierced through layers of obstacles, falling upon the Life and Death Platform. Witnessing this, her expression drastically changed.

Lin Fan’s action left her profoundly shocked.

Feeling his fingers on the verge of their limit, Lin Fan used the Flowing Light Saber in his hand to force back the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword, then imdiately retreated.

"Co back!"

King Zhao Xian clutched his chest, his voice trembling as he shouted. He was truly terrified now—despite all the ticulous preparations, such a turn of events was unthinkable.

What kind of monster is this king battling?

The Flying Smoke Spirit Sword whizzed back to King Zhao Xian’s side, enveloping him in flawless protection.

Spurt!

King Zhao Xian couldn’t stop himself from coughing up another mouthful of blood. His injuries were severe; his five internal organs and six hollow organs felt shattered, and his gaze toward Lin Fan was riddled with dread.

"Dragon Tiger Jade Ruyi."

He, in his dying struggle, unleashed the Dragon Tiger Jade Ruyi. But now he lacked montum, and his mana had significantly depleted from controlling the spirit sword.

Lin Fan sliced downward, instantly suppressing the Dragon Tiger Jade Ruyi.

"Xiao Zhao, what now? If you’ve got more tricks, use them quickly—otherwise, the next blade will take your life," Lin Fan said.

King Zhao Xian, leaning against the light barrier, panickedly fumbled with his hands. He was already contemplating retreat, disinclined to drag this on, but the barrier blocked his escape route.

The disciples below the stage hollered.

"King Zhao Xian, hold the hell on!"

"Don’t lose, man. If you lose, I’ll be utterly ruined."

"Damn it! Using magical treasures and spiritual treasures against the opponent and still losing—you’re worthless!"

Bets placed disciples cared nothing for King Zhao Xian as a Zhen Tian Peak disciple—they just wanted to win, not lose. But now King Zhao Xian was behaving like a joke.

Lin Fan narrowed his eyes. The crucial mont was here—the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword still posed a threat, and King Zhao Xian, instead of attacking, was letting it guard him. If Lin Fan approached, he’d have to endure the sword’s strike.

Draw it out, waiting for an opportunity?

Not feasible.

Dragging it on could lead to unforeseen complications.

He was genuinely worried Ye Zhen Tian might shalessly intervene and rescue King Zhao Xian—then all his efforts would be for nothing.

With the Vajra Talisman Brother Chen had given him, it was ti to go all out.

Once the thought ford, action followed imdiately.

"Xiao Zhao, I’ll send you off now."

Lin Fan took a step with his saber in hand, vanishing instantly, his powerful mana surging forth. The Flowing Light Saber in his hand radiated in a streak of flowing light, carrying a might capable of splitting the heavens and earth.

"You..."

King Zhao Xian panicked, wanting to jump off the platform, shouting, "I won’t fight; I concede!" But he himself had sealed his path to survival.

At this mont, he rembered Lin Fan’s earlier words to him.

Don’t cut off your own escape route.

He had thought it’d be easy to kill Lin Fan.

But now it seed he’d dug himself into a massive pit.

Feelings of disobedience and unwillingness overwheld him.

"Damn it. If that’s the case, I’ll fight you to the death!" King Zhao Xian roared, his internal mana boiling, forcibly enhancing the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword’s power.

But the consequence of forcing power enhancent was his injuries worsening, his body visibly weakening.

The Flying Smoke Spirit Sword exploded repeatedly, morphing into clouds of smoke. These clouds condensed into nurous swords, swirling around him. Under King Zhao Xian’s command, the Flying Smoke Spirit Sword sought out targets autonomously.

"Die with ! Even in death, I’ll take you with !" King Zhao Xian scread hysterically, his expression terrifyingly manic.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Nurous Flying Smoke Spirit Swords locked onto Lin Fan’s position, rapidly sweeping toward him.

Lin Fan showed no trace of fear, lightly pressing the Vajra Talisman, which transford into a golden light wrapping around his body.

The Flying Smoke Spirit Swords clashed violently against the golden light but couldn’t penetrate.

"Die."

Lin Fan delivered a decisive slash, severing King Zhao Xian’s head from his body.

Instantly.

The scene fell silent, everyone’s mouths agape, utterly dumbfounded by the spectacle on the Life and Death Platform.

Lin Fan stood before King Zhao Xian’s corpse as the Vajra Talisman burnt away, scattering into ashes that floated into the air.

"Xiao Zhao, safe travels—thanks for your contribution."

Lin Fan swiftly collected the Dragon Tiger Jade Ruyi and Flying Smoke Spirit Sword into the Hundred Treasures Pouch.

These items were now his.

No one could take them away.

It was just a sha about the Golden Silk Radiant Armor.

The silent scene had no cheers to celebrate his victory, which annoyed Lin Fan.

"What about the cheers?"

Lin Fan addressed everyone: "Fellow disciples, if you believe in , could you give so cheers to feel your enthusiasm?"

He waited.

Cheer now.

Soon, the crowd erupted.

"Damn! I’m ruined."

"Curse you, King Zhao Xian, damn you for deceiving ."

"Ah... my heart aches."

"How could this happen? My spirit stones are gone."

The surrounding disciples were devastated, so beating their chests, so pale as a sheet.

Lin Fan frowned—the cheering felt off. Could it be no one had bet on winning? A bunch of opportunistic jerks.

Cry then.
