Morgan tells himself that he loves Heidi because she dealt with those spoiled, bratty sisters of the NAY boys, but maybe his love is growing deeper than that. Maybe it’s because he sees her for who she really is—sothing others are blind to. Heidi will beco his perfect weapon and the powerful Luna he needs by his side.

Why? Because the girl is fucking strong. He’s seen her fight like an expert when she’s nothing but a newbie. Heidi Castell is everything Morgan wants and needs, and he’ll turn the world over to have her.

"But she’s fated to all four of you. Don’t forget that." Luke pipes up in his head.

Morgan shrugs. "Easy. I’ll just kill them all."

The elevated wolf’s hearing makes the others hear him and they all glance up at him. Sierra is there too, arms crossed, tapping her foot like the world owes her an apology. Ginny and Maribel are beside her, spitting venom between giggles.

They’re all ranting about Heidi again. Those bitches who are too obvious about their lust for him and his brothers for their own good. Argh... it makes them so annoying with all their flirty gestures that they all ensure they ignore.

Not with those overly caked faces of theirs that make them look more like an Auntie Caro than bougie college girls.

Morgan pauses in his tracks, pretending to adjust his jacket while really listening.

"...I’m telling you, she thinks because she made it out of the labyrinth, she’s untouchable? Just wait till Monday. Everyone’s going to see what a little slut she really is."

Ginny snickers. "I still can’t believe she actually sent that video. To a guy she just t? Pathetic."

"Bet she thought he’d fall in love," Maribel adds, flipping her glossy hair. "Newsflash, boys don’t date trash."

Trash? Not the pot calling a flower black!

Morgan’s fingers twitch to send punches flying over her face but he masks his anger by brushing imaginary dust off his sleeve.

He could crush their throats for sport. Right here and right now.

Instead, he lets a lazy smile curve his mouth. "So," he mutters under his breath, "still screaming her na like a hymn. How flattering."

He walks forward with relaxed shoulders and the kind of gait that screams confidence to anyone watching and danger to anyone who knows him. When the NAY boys glance his way, their laughter subsides.

Nash speaks first, of course. "Bellamy," he calls out, tipping his chin. "Leaving already? The weekend’s barely started."

Morgan rolls his eyes. "So of us have real estates to return to, Nash. Empires to run. Not everyone gets to stay back and gossip about won stronger than them."

A low "oof" escapes from Ivy, who imdiately pretends to stretch to hide her smirk after realizing that even though she has that stupid crush on him, he’s still her brother’s rival. And her brother is standing just a few ters away from her.

Ace narrows his eyes. "Excuse ?"

Morgan glances at him with a smirk ant to provoke the NAY boys further. "You’re excused."

It’s then that Darien’s voice flies to his ears from the space he’s standing with Amias as if they hadn’t just beaten each other like blood thirsty animals over Heidi yesterday. "Morgan."

That for sure, is not a greeting. Morgan knows quite well that it’s a warning disguised as one. Since they are outside and sohow within the NAY Boys’ hearing range, his brothers wouldn’t want to be reckless.

His older brother stands by the car with his arms crossed. "You done harassing students, or should I tell the headmaster to start charging you rent for living under detention?"

Ugh, not Darien and his petty jealousy again. Well, it’s a tickle to Morgan’s pride, knowing he’s done sothing to upset the golden boy.

And so; he grins like he’s just been complinted. "Aw, brother. You missed ."

Darien huffs out a dry laugh, though there’s no humor in it. "Missed you? No. Just wondering if you plan on starting another scandal before we even leave the gates."

"Scandal?" Morgan spreads his hands. "You an... marking my territory?" He’s keeping the ssage cryptic since they aren’t alone.

It still goes that being fated to four n is an abomination, and until he figures out how to save Heidi from it, he can’t be public about their bond.

"Relax, Darien. You and Amias looked like you were about to faint earlier. I thought wolves were supposed to be strong."

Darien’s jaw tightens. He doesn’t take the bait easily—but Morgan can see the flare in his eyes, the quick pulse in his throat. Perfect. He loves seeing the cracks form.

Grayson would have laughed wildly here, but Grayson isn’t out yet. For now, it’s just Morgan, playing puppeteer on an invisible stage.

Amias sighs. "Go get Grayson, Morgan, and stop fighting with Darien about what’s not only yours."

This is the first ti he’s heard Amias’s take on the whole marking situation ever since they arrived from the Labyrinth yesterday. As it seems, Amias is maintaining the motion that Heidi belongs to them all, and whoever sticks their dicks or teeth into her depends solely on Heidi’s choice.

Smart guy, Morgan thinks. Amias can’t co out to them about wanting Heidi since he thinks everyone is fooled that he’s dating Lira. Even though Morgan knows better than that.

"Oh, that again." He sighs dramatically. "You make it sound like I stole your favorite toy."

Darien’s lip curls. "Sh-" he stops, realizing he can’t na or give clues about the subject. "...the SITUATION isn’t a toy."

Morgan shrugs nonchalantly. "No. Subject’s mine."

The words provoke a tense silence. Soone passing by might think they’re just brothers having a petty spat. But anyone close enough would feel the shift in air pressure, the subtle tremor that cos when wolves circle the sa prey.

Usually, the Bellamys would maintain a peaceful facade to honor their na in the presence of the NAY Boys who definitely get along better than they and are often caught enjoying their friendship.

However, Darien, who is most particular about reputations, is crushing all of his principles because of one girl. One Moon Blessed... Heidi.

Amias exhales slowly, his hand flexing like he’s imagining punching that smirk off Morgan’s face. "You think this is a ga. That is what I can’t stand even as I do not expect this to drive a wedge between us all. At least, not more than there already is."

Morgan leans in slightly. "Everything’s a ga. You just don’t know the rules."

Before it can escalate further, a door creaks open behind him.
