Chapter 312: Chapter 312: Not a Sterile Constitution
The mont Su ixi saw her period had co, she felt her whole world turn upside down.

The gynecologist used to be in her training group in the military, so their relationship was quite good. Looking at Su ixi’s report, she said doubtfully, “Theoretically, you just have a slightly retroverted uterus, which could make it slightly more difficult—but you’re not the type that gets pregnant at the drop of a hat, nor do you have a body that’s difficult to conceive with.”

Did that an the problem lay with Gu Wei?
She hurriedly laughed it off with her colleague, “Maybe it’s because we’ve been apart more than together in the past. Seems like we need to work harder.”

Her colleague, unaware of the situation, said, “Then you two should keep trying when you get back, maintain a good mood, and you’ll definitely be able to conceive.”

Su ixi showed her the reports.

Su ixi said, “Let’s not tell him for now. n are prideful, and he has just recently transitioned careers. Let’s wait a bit more. Besides, it might not be a problem with him, maybe it’s just not the right timing for us.”
Wang Bing patted her on the shoulder, “Keep going!”
Su ixi also showed concern for Wang Bing, “Have you been going to the bar recently?”
“Occasionally, but going to bars is expensive, I can’t afford to go regularly. Plus, as a divorced individual without a house or car, I have to think about the future,” Wang Bing replied.
Su ixi asked her, “Didn’t you say you were planning to buy your own place?”
“Yes, I’m going on my next day off. Are you free then? Co and help check it out?” Wang Bing knew Su ixi had already purchased a villa. She just wanted an extra person for a second opinion, as two sets of eyes are better than one for spotting issues.
Su ixi imdiately agreed.

Today, Gu Wei officially started his job at the S Commission.
In the past, he would be in uniform for work, but now it’s suits every day, which makes him look sharp.
Although the suits are simple and unbranded, neither custom-made nor handcrafted, they have a grounded look to them.
Su ixi couldn’t help but tease him for a while, then went to embrace him.
“Why do I feel like I’m sending a child off to kindergarten?” Su ixi said.
Gu Wei pinched her waist, “Are you worried about ?”
“It’s a new post; I’m concerned you might not adapt well.”
“How could that be the case? I can adapt anywhere,” he reassured her.
Their sweet nothings exchanged, they left the house together for work.
On their way, they ran into Sister Hong and Mdm. Li, who were out shopping for groceries.
“Oh, is Gu Wei off to work?”
Gu Wei said with a smile, “Yep, no need to take along next ti we buy groceries.”
The sisters-in-law expressed their disappointnt: “That’s such a sha; we’ll miss out on lots of fun. But it’s good for you to start working, so we won’t have to explain to others why a big guy like you is grocery shopping with us every day.”

Su ixi went to work.
Working in the hospital, you’d occasionally co across so bizarre situations.
Today, a woman ca in with her boyfriend.
The man was supporting the woman, and she had her arms wrapped around his waist. They seed in pretty bad shape.
“Where does it hurt?” asked Su ixi.
The woman sat down, one hand still holding her boyfriend’s, and then she started to cry, “My wrist hurts.”
Her wrist hurts?
Su ixi wondered for a mont, “Your leg doesn’t hurt?”
“No, it doesn’t.”
If the leg doesn’t hurt, why was she being supported upon entering?
“Then let take a look at your hand,” said Su ixi.
The woman offered her wrist to Su ixi, and before Su ixi even touched it, she started crying, clinging to her boyfriend: “Ouch, it’s so painful, I’m afraid to look.”
The man, feeling tenderly towards her, both kissed and licked her face, “Be good baby, don’t be scared.”
After much dilly-dallying, the woman finally handed her hand over to Su ixi.
As soon as Su ixi pressed it slightly, the woman scread again.
Su ixi was left speechless.
There were still people in line outside; couldn’t she be a bit quicker?
“How about the man steps outside? I can’t examine her with you here,” Su ixi suggested.
The man agreed to step out, but not before hugging the woman tightly once more.
They separated with difficulty, and he said to Su ixi: “Doctor, you must cure her.”
“Well, I need to first understand what’s wrong with her,” replied Su ixi.
The man then coaxed his girlfriend: “Baby, don’t worry, you’ll be just fine.”
The woman’s eyes brimd with tears.
After examining for a while, Su ixi confird it was just tendinitis.
Just as she was about to write out an order, the man rushed back in: “Doctor, I really couldn’t stop worrying, so I ca to check on her.”
The two of them embraced each other again.
Fine, Su ixi thought, too lazy to comnt. Let them be however they want.

Noon.
Su ixi packed up her things, thinking about heading ho for lunch, but then she suddenly rembered Gu Wei wasn’t at ho to cook anymore.
She sent him a ssage: How was your day today?
There was no reply from his end, and not until she reached the cafeteria to have her al did Gu Wei reply: [Quite busy.]
[Then you’ll have to get used to it.]
[I know, thanks for your concern, wife. Have you eaten yet?]
[Eating now] Su ixi took a photo of her al and sent it to him.
Then Gu Wei also sent her a photo of his al.
Suddenly, Su ixi felt that their actions were becoming increasingly silly.
