“Recovered so quickly?”
Normally speaking, if it were just disinfection and dication, the wound would take at least four or five days to heal and scab over.
But Gu Wei’s wound had already scabbed.
“Was the treatnt done at Kang Sheng Hospital?” Su ixi asked.
Gu Wei admitted frankly, “Yes, do you know that hospital?”
“I’ve always heard other doctors say it has the most advanced equipnt and dicine, especially in surgery. Ordinary injuries can be healed with one treatnt there. I didn’t believe it before, but now I do.”
Out of curiosity, Su ixi leaned closer to take a look, her nose almost touching Gu Wei’s.
Gu Wei felt her breath on him, and he suddenly felt hot and bothered.
Having received special training in the army, he generally didn’t react unless he couldn’t help it.
Now, he was having a hard ti controlling himself.
Su ixi observed for a while, when unexpectedly she saw his—

Gu Wei was calm, pulling up his trousers as he said, “I didn’t do it on purpose either, it’s a natural physiological response.”

As usual, the departnt held a morning eting every day.
Today, Mr. Wang was late for so reason.
Su ixi chatted with another female doctor in the departnt with whom she had a good relationship.
“Sister Zhou, do you know about Kang Sheng Hospital? I heard it’s quite difficult to get an appointnt there.”
Sister Zhou was a bit surprised, “Why suddenly curious about Kang Sheng Hospital?”
“A relative went there for treatnt yesterday.”
As soon as Su ixi finished speaking, Li Pingping snickered, “Is it really a relative? Kang Sheng Hospital doesn’t just treat any patient, you need not only money but also so power.”
Su ixi asked, “What kind of power?”
“Well, you need money and power. As for what kind of power, I don’t know, but even seeing a common injury there costs tens of thousands. Does your relative have such capabilities?”
Unable to help herself, Su ixi scoffed, “ being poor doesn’t an my relatives are poor. Who doesn’t have a wealthy relative?”
“Your relatives are so rich, why don’t they help you out? When you just joined the hospital, I heard your salary was still paying off student loans, tsk tsk.”
Sister Zhou, seeing how an Li Pingping was being, couldn’t help but interject, “Dr. Li, maybe say less, Dr. Su can stand on her own two feet. Why rely on relatives? Debts of gratitude aren’t so easy to repay.”
Su ixi smiled at Sister Zhou, “Sister Zhou really understands.”
Li Pingping rolled her eyes at Su ixi, about to speak, but Mr. Wang arrived.
“Sorry, there was a bit of traffic. Let’s start the eting!”

In the evening, Su ixi stood at the entrance of the outpatient building, staring at the heavy rain outside.
What kind of rain is this? She was so busy she hadn’t even noticed.
The security guard saw her standing still and asked, “Dr. Su, do you need an umbrella?”
Su ixi smiled, “No need.”
She had a raincoat on her electric bike, but with such heavy rain, she dared not risk riding it.
She planned to rest on the bench inside for a while and wait for the rain to lessen before heading ho.
At that mont, Han Ningzhen and Yu Anran also ca out.
Su ixi didn’t plan to pay them any attention, but Han Ningzhen stopped in front of her, looking snobbish, “Dr. Su, it’s raining so heavily, isn’t your boyfriend coming to pick you up?”
Su ixi scoffed, “Are you here to flaunt that you have a man? No need, it’s just a man.”
Han Ningzhen said, “Sorry, not just a man, but a car too. Anran, bring your car over. I’ll wait here.”
Qi Anran looked quite proud; he now had a house and a car, although he had to pay the mortgage every month, he could still provide shelter from the storm for his beloved woman.
He didn’t regret cheating on Han Ningzhen and look, Han Ningzhen even put forth 100,000 yuan to buy a car together. If it had been Su ixi, that would have been impossible, as after graduation Su ixi was always repaying her student loan and was also stingy, fearful of eating in expensive restaurants.
“Finding a slightly richer woman could save several years of struggle,” that statent was indeed correct.
Qi Anran went to get the car, while Han Ningzhen waited at the outpatient building.
So familiar doctors greeted her, “Dr. Han, aren’t you leaving?”
“Waiting for my dear Qi, he’s getting the car,” Han Ningzhen smiled.
“He’s really a good boyfriend.”
“I think so too.”
Soon, Qi Anran’s BMW X5 pulled up at the entrance, Han Ningzhen smiled at Su ixi, “Dr. Su, we’ll be leaving first.”
Su ixi replied indifferently, “No one is stopping you.”
“This rain won’t stop anyti soon, you might have to wait a while.”
“No need to worry, have a safe trip.”
Han Ningzhen got into the car, then said to Qi Anran, “Anran, let’s go.”
“You haven’t fastened your seatbelt yet, let help you,” Qi Anran leaned over to fasten Han Ningzhen’s seatbelt, taking the opportunity to kiss her on the face.
“Stop it, this is still a hospital.”
The BMW drove out and reached the hospital’s front gate when Han Ningzhen suddenly pointed at soone nearby, “Anran, look, is that Su ixi’s boyfriend?”
Qi Anran slowed down the car and glanced over.
In the pouring rain, a robust man holding a large umbrella was walking toward the outpatient building, his deanor upright and proper.
It seed as if the storm was nothing to him, rely an embellishnt.
Han Ningzhen was instantly captivated by Gu Wei’s stature.
He was so tall, and his aura so commanding.
Seeing Han Ningzhen looking at Gu Wei, Qi Anran stepped on the accelerator, adding, “This guy coming to pick up his girlfriend without even driving a car, what a broke loser!”
Han Ningzhen pondered and then comnted, “Right, pretending to be a hero without money, don’t end up both riding an electric bike and getting soaked like drowned rats!”
