Chapter 2: A BIG MISTAKE

Astrid trembled in fear as she stared at Julian who seed oblivious to what was happening.

"Take good care of my daughter if you don't want to see my dark side,"

The man who had held her hands told Julain who could only let out a beautiful smile that imdiately captured her heart.

She has only seen him on TV, or in magazines, calling her crazy but she is a die-hard fan of him but she is his standard.

He took her hands from the man and he moved closer to her.

"Babe, it's finally the day we are called husband and wife," Astrid could feel the delight in his voice as he talked and this made her more guilty.

"Babe, is it just

but you look kinda weird today," he whispered beside her ears and Astrid couldn't even move.

Her whole body stiffened as he touched her, he noticed how she was drawing back but didn't want her to cause a scene for he is always scared of losing his girl.

"Don't get mad at , you know you hid the dress all this while so I can't help but be confused at your appearance today," Julian let out again but still he didn't get any response from her.

He felt a bit down about this, he got her sad, and all he wanted right now was to get married before she changed her mind.

While Astrid on the other hand is left in between frustration and worried about how everyone would feel seeing betrayal from her.

The priest cleared his throat and this ti, Julian faced the priest.

"I can't get over the fact that I am making her mine now," He stated, Astrid wanted to talk but she was way below the people that were in the hall.

A call and she will be thrown into the bottomless area without thinking twice.

She should say sothing but she is terrified to do so, she is about marrying soone else and still not talking.

"Today we are here for the joining together of Mr Julian Logan and Martie Adams," Again everyone cheered at this.

"You should both say your vow," the priest let out.

"Skip it," Julian retorted and the priest instantly cleared his throat again.

People know who is and how powerful he is so they wouldn't want to get on his wrong side.

Here is Astrid about to do the worst that would turn her life around.

"Do you Julian Logan take her to be your lawful wife in health and wealth?"

Julian stared at Astrid even though he couldn't see her face but felt so kind of feeling though different from that he felt with Mattie with adoration.

He whispered, "Yes, I do.." The sa question was thrown at Astrid who felt reluctant to respond.

This made Julian a bit nervous since she was taking the whole ti to respond, he touched her a bit as she shut her eyes.

"Yes, I do," her cracked voice let out. The voice felt different to Julian but he didn't push further.

The priest clapped his hands and then brought forward the marriage certificate. Her eyes widened in surprise, she had never expected this.

She can't sign the marriage certificate ant for soone else.

Julian signed his part and then shifted it for her, as he handed her the pen.

She breathed in and out frustrated at the whole issue, Julian noticed the way her hands trembled and then thought of helping her.

"You don't have to be afraid, I will make the best husband ever," he whispered like he was assuring her.

Astrid, having no choice as under the gazes of hundreds of witnesses, signed the paper.

Julian was confused at this as he stared at her signature, "Why is your signature different?" he asked and this got the attention of many.

"Don't cause a scene," the best man beside him whispered to their listeners.

Julian sighed and then faced the priest, "From the witnesses of man and presence of God now declare you husband and wife, you May now kiss your bride."

Just then the door swung open and another bride with a veil walked in through the crowd, making everyone shocked.

The lady stopped imdiately and flipped her veil from her head, making everyone gasp.

"Mattie?" Julian was stunned.

"What the heck is happening right here?" the lady asked in shock.

Julian turned to Astrid as she swallowed hard, he flipped the veil off her face and felt his world crashing down as he tried to grasp the situation before him.

"Who... who are you?" he asked, still in a state of shock as eyes were now peering into her soul.

She felt like the whole ground should swallow her from the humiliation.

"I... I..." Astrid's voice quivered in fear despite trying to talk. She was at a loss for words.

A resounding slap brought another gasp to the crowd, and imdiately the press was let inside now capturing every mont.

Despite the guards trying to stop them, it was out of hand already. Julian had invited them because it was his big day.

He wanted to show off his girl to the whole world and tell them she is now his but all because of Astrid it has all been ruined.

"How dare you bitch trying to ruin my daughter's big day?" Astrid was out of words and could only stare at them.

"Get her out of my sight," Julian announced and guards rushed toward Astrid ready to manhandle her roughly.

"No one dares annoy

but you just cross the limit," Julian growled, and Astrid fell to her knees.

"I am so sorry Mr. Julian I have gotten to you before I could see you were the..."

"I said get her out of here and lock her in the cell, if possible I want her whole family ruined!" Julian cut her off.
