Chapter 101: SHE IS PREGNANT
The next morning Julian walked inside the mansion and there he t Astrid sleeping on the couch.
He checked the ti to see it was 3 am, he was pretty sure she was so mad at him,
He sighed out and moved closer to her, about to touch her her eyes narrowed open.
"Good morning," he greeted and she sat well, "Good morning to you too," she replied a bit annoyed.
"Never expected you to stay here. Why were you in the living room?" he asked and she noticed the tiredness in his tone.
"I told you I was hungry. I slept over when I ca here waiting for you to cook." Julian felt guilty for this.
"I need to get ready for my exercise." she let out and stood from the couch pushing him out of the way.
"Astrid?" he called, grabbing her hands.
"You know what? I understand the fact that you love
so much stop trying to play with my feelings,"
Julian eyes bulge out at this, "What feelings? I never told you I like you."
"Yeah, Can you try and stop acting caring towards ? I have never had anyone who cared for
since I was a child, so bla my feelings if I ever care for you. So Let’s stop this now," she took in a deep breath.
"Also, stop trying to kiss
when you are angry to calm yourself," Astrid said, her voice laced with venom.
"It’s the sa night you kissed , the sa night you went to another woman."
Julian’s eyes narrowed. "The other woman you’re talking about is supposed to be my wife."
Astrid’s gaze didn’t waver. "Yes, I get that. That’s why I want you to stop acting caring towards . Keep your distance, and I will know clearly that I can move on. You belong to Mattie, go to her and stop getting jealous when you see a guy close to ."
Astrid stord up the stairs, leaving Julian shaken.
He sat on the couch, exhausted, as her words echoed in his mind. "Fuck it!" he groaned, frustrated.
anwhile, Astrid entered her room, slamming the door. She pulled out a band and wrapped it around her wrist, seeking numbness from the pain.
As she began to tighten the band, her biting lips trembled. The thought of Julian never wanting her hurt.
Lost in despair, she didn’t notice Nate bursting in.
"Astrid!" Maren called out in shock, rushing to her side. He grabbed her other hand, and his eyes wide with concern.
"Astrid, stop! What are you doing?" Maren pleaded.
Astrid’s gaze t Maren, her eyes welling up with tears.
"What the fuck is wrong with you! Why..." Astrid pulled her hands from Naren.
"Astrid?" Maren called pain etched in her voice, "Why are you doing this to yourself?"
Astrid glanced at her and those eyes never lied, she could see care and sincerity in them.
"He loves Mattie, he... he reminded
that I have no place in his heart." Maren shut her eyes recalling how Miles also kept rejecting her.
Maren moved toward Astrid squatting beside her, " I understand your pain. Of course, I am going through the sa man I love, who keeps reminding
that I am not in the slut climb rich man’s bed."
Astrid glanced up at Maren, "But that didn’t stop
from becoming who I want to be?"
"It’s been a while since you fell for Miles?" Astrid asked and she smiled.
"Yeah, right from elentary I guess." Astrid eyes winded.
"But he sees
as a slut, well he isn’t lying.." Maren let out a small smile.
"I have made him have sex with
nurous tis, but there is never a day where he acts cool towards ."
"Then, are you still trying to win his heart?" She asked and Maren smiled a bit.
"First you win Julian so we can co but. I get one thing he doesn’t love, ."
"Does that an I have no chance with Julian?" she smiled calmly patting her back.
"I can’t see the heart of it but I can see the love of Matty. He never acts that way with other ladies. But now he gets mad, gets jealous, and gets furious when you say no. He loves it when you exchange conversation with him so I won’t allow you to lose your hope, just the heart, but don’t allow that to be your goal."
Astrid swallowed hard at this, and Maren smiled... "Marem?" she called as Maren stared at her.
"You said you have nurous sex with him," Maren raised her eyes brow St this.
"Have you ever regretted it?" Maren smirked at this, and then shook her head.
"I haven’t for once, I am always excited when he touches , always excited when he picks
even though he is drunk." she glanced her.
"I never for once," she answered and Astrid smiled at this.
"Does that an that even though I never regretted the way he always kisses , it ans love.." Maren smiles, caressing her hands.
"Maybe or Maybe not.." she answered, Astrid bobbed her head and sighed out.
"Since we are both going through one or two, why don’t we cheer ourselves up." Maren furrowed her eye shrow at her words.
"What? Are you thinking of going for a drink?"
"Of course not, I need to lose weight and also keep healthy, but I don’t since it has a negative effect on ."
Maren nodded her head and stood up, "What do you want us to do then?"
"Our exercise," she let out and Maren bobbed her head, "You are sure innocent." Maren let out and then about to stand right when her eyes suddenly turned dizzy.
"Hey! Mattie.. What is wrong?" she grabbed Astrid hand and shook her head.
"I am pregnant," Astrid eyes winded at this, "What?"
"Who? Is it Mile.." Maren eyes winded as she ventured for Astrid to keep shit.
"But it isn’t even that.." she placed her hands on Astrid lips.
"Please his best friend is Julian, they don’t hide things from one another," Astrid nodded, her head still confused.
"Is it for soone else," Maren scuffed at this, "Nah... its for Miles, the reason he hated
