Inside the teachers’ apartnt,
Under the respectful gaze of several Black Rose maids, Yumo walked leisurely into the apartnt and returned ho.

After eting liora, Yuan’er has been frequently staying out. Yumo was happy that her little daughter found a like-minded friend, but this constant playing outside, especially at night, wasn’t good. Nights are for resting and growing up.
Yumo shook her head, feeling a bit guilty. She’d been busy preparing lessons and training ngxi for the upcoming competition, and had been neglecting Yuan’er.
Once Yuan’er is back, Yumo thought, she’ll need to have a serious talk with her about her late-night escapades.
"But..."
Yumo looked puzzled at the letter,
"Sebastian, weren’t you ho today? Why didn’t Yuan’er just tell you, like before, instead of writing a letter?"
The old butler smiled carelessly,
"Yuan’er probably has so fun activity tonight with that dragon girl. She wanted to go but was afraid we wouldn’t approve, especially since she’s been out for three consecutive nights. But she knew she couldn’t hide it from you, so she wrote this letter. Just like before, probably trying to ask for forgiveness later rather than permission now."

Actually, a few days ago, after all the rooms were refurbished, ngxi could have moved to a guest room. But Yuan’er insisted that ngxi stay in Yumo’s room, saying it was for her protection, especially with the ongoing security issues at the academy. The school hadn’t resolved these issues yet, which frustrated Yumo.
Eventually, unable to resist Yuan’er’s pleas, Yumo agreed to let ngxi continue staying in her room. Yumo was relieved that Yuan’er, being a powerful demoness, had no hostile intentions towards ngxi. But Yumo found Yuan’er’s recent behavior odd.
