“T-The leader is waiting for you inside. When you et the leader, please choose one of you to represent your group.”
Rita’s fist collided with the wall inches away from the man’s face. Her pissed-off expression made her red eyes look even more demonic. And the light inside that building also made her hair look bloody color.
The man yelled in fright at seeing such a provoking picture in front of him. It was a wonder that he did not piss himself off after seeing Rita like that.
Ava was the one who decided to co to his rescue as she gently took Rita’s hand away from the wall and healed the bleeding.
“I would be more careful in choosing my words. Not all of us have good temperants when dealing with useless beings. Who knows, maybe it will be your head next ti that explodes due to my friend’s anger.”
Ava waved her hands around as if saying that she was joking right now. But her eyes looked anything but joking.
Anyone could see and feel the dangerous intention she was hiding behind that smile of hers. Even Aurora took a step aside to not be in the way of Ava’s anger.
“Oi, don’t you dare take my target away from . I swear that I will make you regret your decisions and…”
“Anyway, I am sure you won’t tell my friend to go in alone right now. You better not if you know what is good for you.”
The man gulped down his nervousness as he finally realized that the only way he would get to live was to surrender to these demands.
Aurora listened to all this from the sidelines but she finally decided to interfere in the end.
Bringing both Ava and Rita inside with her would end up making them clash with the leader. Aurora knew how the leader thought so it was out of the question for these three to get along.
“You both, stay out here for now. I will go in alone and have this talk. And no, before you ask . This is not negotiable and I will know if you decide to follow after .”
Aurora quickly shot down her two friend’s chances of following after her.
She did not need them to make things even more complicated for her. She just wanted to have this negotiation talk over with.
“B-But that is not fair. Why did you get to have all the fun?”
Ava asked with a depressed voice but Aurora could see that she did not an those words. She was just saying all this to annoy Aurora.
“No more complaints about this. I said I will go in alone so I will go in alone. You all are free to enjoy yourself in the anti. You should also let Ur land and see if he has eaten.”
Aurora was sure that Ur would be able to find his food but she did not want him to starve in case there was nothing out there.
Since the magic in the city did not affect Ur, he would be having a really hard ti.
“Sure, I will go out and have a look. You should enjoy your ti here as well.”
Ava agreed pretty quickly and left to take care of Ur. Rita however, decided to camp outside the room and Aurora did not complain regarding her decision.
She needed all her focus to deal with the enemy in front of her. She knew the person who could potentially be in charge of this floor.
There were only three real choices to choose from and Aurora hoped that she had gotten lucky.
“This is where we will part ways. If you want sothing then please do not call . I seriously will not answer your call.”
Her guide proved himself as a coward and fled from the scene. But that was alright with Aurora. She did not need his help anyway.
She made a big show of gulping her nervousness down before opening the door. Even if Aurora was not nervous, she needed to make a show of it so that the other side would lead their guard down.
“Co in and close the door behind you.”
The voice was neutral in its tone which made it impossible to tell whether they were male or female. But still, Aurora had a feeling that the speaker was male. There was a certain roughness in his voice.
“Pardon my entry into your domain but I require your assistance.”
Aurora entered the room and locked it behind her. Eyes instantly turned toward her chest with a curious gaze and Aurora wanted to smack the man.
This was the one person out of three Aurora did not want to see her but it seed she had lucked out this ti.
“Of course, I will pardon you. Beauties like you are always welco here. Although, I hope that you would consider sacrificing sothing precious to you when you co here.”
“If you are talking about my virginity then I no longer have it. Besides, I need to asure your worth before I invest in our relationship. Don’t you agree with ?”
The man went silent at her words, likely at a loss for words.
The boss of this gang was a big deal on these dium floors. Every man and woman who first ca to this floor wanted his attention in clearing the scenario and gas. As such, he had never suffered from such humiliation before.
But here she was, this seemingly innocent girl who knew nothing about the world. She had not only humiliated him but also managed to piss him off. And that did not sit well with the boss.
“Fine. If you are going to be like that, then you leave with no choice. I will prove my worth to you in the next ga. But if you are impressed by then you have to beco mine.”
Aurora thought about it but it was not even a competition.
First of all, being impressed was not sothing Aurora was used to. There was nothing in her life that could impress her anymore.
So the man was already taking an empty bet.
Second all, the only reason Aurora needed his helped to make up for the numbers she was lacking. Nothing else mattered to her beyond that for now.
So she had no hesitation in accepting these terms. After all, this man did not even know that he was falling into Aurora’s trap right now.
“So tell when the next ga will start.”
“Very well. The next ga will start tomorrow and we are sure that it will be an all-out battle. As for how it will go, you will just need to wait and see.”
And an all-out battle? It was an easy victory for Aurora but she was also afraid for the next day.
“How will the teams be spilled? Will it be between us and the abyss forces? Or will it be between human fractions?”
These were things Aurora needed to know before she could decide on how to proceed.
If it was indeed P-v-P then she will need to take extra care of her people. And it will also increase the chances of her being separated from Rita.
“This we will not know until tomorrow. What? Are you scared now?”
Aurora stood up to walk out on the man and it made him panic. His puppet stood up as well and blocked Aurora’s way.
“No, wait. I also know sothing else that might help you. I know of a way to make sure that three people end up on the sa team. D-Don’t you want to know how to do that?”
Aurora had not wanted to know until now but she decided to hear the man out finally. Perhaps she could give him the benefit of doubt.
“Speak what you want to and hurry up. I neither have the ti nor the patience to deal with you. I need to be at a lot of different places right now.”
The man gulped his nervousness down as he finally opened his mouth again.
“S.P stone. It can make sure that the carriers are in the sa party. But I have no idea where to find a pair. B-But I do know soone who can tell you. And I will hand over that information if you agree to spend a night with .”
The boss of the building said. He suddenly sounded confident when he made that demand.
‘It seems soone is too confident in their skills and power. It is ti for to knock this man down a little.’
Aurora did not like what this man was suggesting and she did not want to leave things as they were. She only needed a little ti to bring this man under her control anyway so she decided to play along for now.
“Alright, I will give you so of my precious ti. But make sure you do not end up regretting your decision.”
