Capítulo 1085: Chapter 425: Rules and Patches (Part 3)
“The second stage tests the creative capabilities of greenhouse civilizations; if a civilization can better integrate into a powerful polity and offer greater potential to that polity, it easily establishes certain advantages.”
Yang Ming laughed: “So, we have an opportunity then.”
Papaloka said: “The opportunity in the first half doesn’t really matter.”
“Why?”
“Because of the points system,” Papaloka said, “The first three stages are for earning points. During the nine-year period, whoever earns more points establishes an advantage—and also a crisis.”
“What is the third stage?”
“A comprehensive test, with various large-scale natural disasters, that challenges each greenhouse civilization’s resilience to the limit.”
“The fourth stage?”
“Point grabbing,” Papaloka said, “It’s a standard Galaxy Year’s expedition expansion pack. Everyone enters a new battlefield, utilizing resources gained from the ga world over the preceding nine years. The five major factions engage in full-scale confrontation.”
Yang Ming raised his hand to cover his eyes.
Papaloka sneered: “Using points as chips for comprehensive war. The victorious side of the war will gain the staked chips, while the defeated side will inevitably beco the prey of other civilizations.”
“Ah,” Yang Ming raised his glass and drank it down, “This Faya ga…”
“It’s brutal, right? Five into three, two get eliminated.”
“Yes,” Yang Ming said, “Which ans the more players a civilization has in the ga, the greater the chance of winning… A total of ten years in the ga process… Direct conflict in the final stage…”
Papaloka nodded: “The larger the number of players, the higher the efficiency of point acquisition in the first three stages.”
“How are points usually obtained?”
“Doing anything challenging,” Papaloka said, “Scientific breakthroughs earn the most, though… wanting greenhouse civilizations to contribute to scientific developnt within the ga polity based on the Milky Way civilization… that’s really… Next is the content within the ga, where conflict and contradiction are the main thes. Defeating so powerful enemies will reward points.”
Yang Ming nodded: “Just like the single planet version of ‘Abyss’, right?”
“Now I can’t even imagine what the scene would be like if the legend of the White Ghost appeared in ‘Faya’s ga’.”
“I might be treated as the boss to defeat.”
“Hahaha, yes, and certainly the most difficult boss to tackle and strategize against.”
Yang Ming pursed his lips slightly, sitting there quietly pondering.
Population really is the decisive factor.
Earth has a population of eight billion, but as soon as Yang Ming thinks about how, before he was sent to the Milky Way, nurous regions on Earth were still engulfed in the flas of war, with hegemonistic and antagonistic thinking escalating…
Tired.
To hell with it.
Destroy it.
It’s easier said than done to fight for second and maintain third!
“You ntioned before, you can elevate dinsions?” Papaloka suddenly asked.
Yang Ming shrugged slightly: “Yes, as the insecticide cultivated by the Faya people.”
“Perhaps, you can save your planet from this direction.”
Papaloka said:
“What I said earlier, that my ho planet can single-handedly challenge the other four planets, is not empty talk. The rules of the Faya people cannot be modified, but they can be patched. They hypocritically claim to respect all life forms, yet they still arbitrarily control all civilizations in low-dinsional worlds.”
“However, this is human nature; whether it’s the elevation of collective or individual thinking, it’s an inextinguishable nature.”
Yang Ming laughed: “Now, can you co back to the Empire with ?”
Papaloka shook her head: “Kill , then, liberate . I’ve already betrayed my planet by telling you this, and it makes terribly euphoric.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yes, you have to reward sohow.”
“Why not commit suicide?”
“Suicide is illegal… My thoughts tell ,” Papaloka sighed, “Besides, you know, I have Resurrection Armor. Let experience death once; maybe I can find the aning of life in death. Unlike you all, I was randomly selected after achieving victory in the ga. I’ve never died.”
She extinguished the electronic cigarette in her hand and raised her hand to straighten her curly hair like dry grass.
“You’ve worked hard.”
