Chapter 762: 315 Emperor Star Dinsion Ascension Laboratory!

Because today he was to go see the world, Yang Ming got up early, waiting for that “mysterious” research institute to send soone.

Where he was going today, Yang Ming actually had so premonitions.

What is the most mysterious organization within the Empire?

It wasn’t the Emperor’s secret intelligence organization, nor the secret military force inside the Heavenly Fury Fortress, but rather the few major research institutes allowed to be set up on the Emperor Star.

Among those, the one with the lofty na “Dinsion Ascension Laboratory,” officially nad “Human Dinsion Ascension Feasibility Experint Base,” was the most fascinating.

To enable humanity, with this fragile body, to step towards high-dinsional from the current dinsion… this sounded utterly insane.

Yang Ming had once read several papers on the topic.

The current human civilization was sowhat deford; today’s human body, which should only barely adapt to Constant Star Level civilization, that is, Second Level civilization, fell far short of eting the needs of transitioning from Second Level to third-level civilization.

Yet it was with this frail body that humans had left their footprints in every corner of the Milky Way.

Scientists who didn’t know the truth found this miraculous, attributing it all to the breakthrough driven by “AI algorithms,” leading to a non-uniform explosive developnt of technology.

However, Yang Ming, who had co into contact with the Faya Civilization, knew that the Faya people had locked humanity’s genes and, in key areas like spacefolding, cross-domain communication, macro quantum effects, provided guidance to the humans of the Galaxy.

In light of this, Yang Ming naturally harbored extra curiosity towards the Empire’s Dinsion Ascension Laboratory.

Did this laboratory understand the Faya Civilization?

Was this laboratory really, as depicted from the outside, a representation of the Empire’s technological strength?

Of course, more importantly, would this laboratory be detrintal to him, a Quasi-Ancient God Life Form?

Around eight o’clock Emperor Star ti in the morning, after making a light al of breakfast, dressed in casual attire, Yang Ming began reading the Emperor Star Daily in a corner of the hotel lobby.

Service personnel kept passing by.

In front of Yang Ming, the coffee table gradually accumulated a pile of snacks and drinks.

When he ca back to his senses and twisted his head to look, a group of uniford, sunny, young n were hiding in a corner, casting intense gazes at him.

Over the past year, Yang Ming had offended the Great Nobles class but had established stronger prestige among the commoners and Little Nobles.

Yang Ming picked up a bottle of drink, raised it towards the corner, and tilted his head back, downing a large gulp.

Outside, two hovercars slowly ca to a stop, directly blocking the entrance.

Several middle-aged n and won in white lab coats got out of the vehicles, while an elder man sat quietly inside one car, showing no intention of getting out.

Yang Ming’s eyes were sharp; he imdiately recognized who the elder was.

The Emperor’s uncle by marriage, the Prince of the Empire who had appeared at the concluding banquet of the Elder Court palace coup, head of the Dinsion Ascension Laboratory, Eno Sherman.

The group of middle-aged n and won, carrying several dical bags, entered the door and headed straight for Yang Ming.

“Earl Hanton, we are researchers from the Imperial Dinsion Upgrade Laboratory. By His Majesty’s command, we invite you to the laboratory for a visit today,” said the researchers.

Yang Ming was a little stunned, but smiled and said, “Do I need to cooperate with you for an experint? Are you going to perform a check now?”

“This is not a check,” a man with a receding hairline laughed and said, “Although we would love to have an experintal subject of your caliber, your political influence far exceeds your value as a subject. We all look forward to your making more contributions to the Empire.”

Yang Ming slowly nodded and rolled up his sleeve proactively.

The researchers got to work efficiently, attaching a few cushioned probes to Yang Ming and began recording so basic data.

“Lord Earl, please wait a mont. We must enter your relevant biological information into the system to ensure that you will not be attacked by the defensive system of the research institute.”

“Hmm,” Yang Ming felt sowhat curious.

He wondered just how advanced the defensive system of the Empire’s highest-level research institute could be.

A few minutes later, after the researchers had double-checked, they then invited Yang Ming, “Please follow us.”

Yang Ming followed the group leisurely and was invited into the hovercar that was not luxurious but had impressive protective performance.

As the car door opened, the gaunt-faced elder man raised his hand to push his glasses and extended his right hand towards Yang Ming, introducing himself with a raspy voice.

“Eno Sherman, head of the Dinsion Ascension Research Institute, by His Majesty’s command, your guide and adviser for today.”

Yang Ming reached out and had a light handshake with the elder.

‘Guide’ he could understand, but what was this ‘adviser’?…

What surprised Yang Ming was that the route to the research institute was not far.

The hovercar entered a corner of the Imperial Palace block. Following the silent Prince Eno, Yang Ming entered a lavishly decorated elevator room.

Prince Eno finally spoke again:

“Sit down, the elevator will operate for a while; we will cross through the Star Core of the Emperor Star and head to the other side of the Emperor Star.”

“Hmm,” Yang Ming chose a corner seat, not intending to get too close to the Prince, but just as he sat down, Prince Eno actively ca over, sat in the right-hand sofa next to Yang Ming, and thodically buckled his seatbelt.

The researchers gathered in the opposite corner, quietly discussing so topics Yang Ming couldn’t understand.

The elevator began to operate smoothly.

Yang Ming heard sounds akin to that of spaceship engines; multiple protective shields also appeared on the elevator’s exterior.

“Don’t worry,” Prince Eno said calmly, “the Star Core of Emperor Star is an energy module. Although the mass of Emperor Star itself has caused strong pressure on the Star Core, we have laid out many devices to turn this pressure into a part of our energy source.”
