Chapter 371: 175 Our side will crush the Insect Swarm.

At last, it was completely unexpected.

The insects controlled the heavens and the earth and even interfered with his and Hera’s romantic relationship!

Yang Ming lay in the treatnt cabin, allowing the chanical guard under Lyu’s control to manipulate his arm and inject him with a ‘tumor prevention’ gene stabilizer.

He pondered quietly and asked softly, “Lyu, what do you think about this incident?”

“The tragic consequences of the Secondary Ancient God’s indulgence.”

“Hmm?” The captain’s gaze imdiately sharpened.

“A beautiful love that transcends species and touches the heavens and the earth.”

Lyu grinned as he spoke, then turned to ask, “Boss, I actually don’t quite understand. Why hasn’t the high-dinsional human Faya Civilization eradicated the Insect Race despite their long lurking on the outskirts of the Galaxy?”

“I do know a bit about this,” Yang Ming recalled the extermination plot he experienced in the ‘Abyss,’ “It’s probably because the high-dinsional human civilization wants lower-dinsional humans to maintain a state of combat and adapt early to the attack modes of formidable enemies.”

Lyu said, “But, high-dinsional warfare must differ in form from our kind of extermination war. Does it have any significance?”

“Maintaining morale, the will to fight, ferocity, things like that, I guess.”

Yang Ming laughed, “The saddest are these insects. They breed and thrive in human territory, enduring hardships over long years. They finally complete dinsional ascension to join high-dinsional insects, then the Faya Civilization introduces so dinsional-reducing strike weapons… just imagining the scene is thrilling!”

Lyu pondered carefully, “You an, the Insect Swarm is allowed to exist to ensure humans understand them and maintain combativeness?”

“Sothing like that,” Yang Ming said uncertainly.

Lyu laughed, “Isn’t it possible that the high-dinsional Insect Race planned it this way too?”

Yang Ming was montarily speechless.

He contemplated carefully; it might indeed be possible.

However, wasn’t the Milky Way the domain of the Faya Civilization?

You couldn’t be sure. High dinsions represented a space-ti concept they temporarily couldn’t comprehend. Perhaps, in so sense, the Galaxy was both the breeding ground for the Insect Race and the reserved territory for humans.

The issue gave Yang Ming a headache, and he decided to set it aside for now.

Even if they understood these matters, they couldn’t directly seek aid from the Faya Civilization.

“Lyu, report on the Insect Swarm’s movents.”

“They are heading toward us with clear intent.”

Lyu replied quickly, “I’ve changed various blocking thods, but they always manage to pinpoint our position and make minor adjustnts.”

“Moreover, the pre-installed detection devices on the Feinan are nearly depleted. I’ve assembled a few detection ships from the Luofeng Empire for auxiliary detection, constantly observing if they split their forces again.”

“Additionally, the impact of public opinion has been quite effective. News of Luofeng being attacked by the Insect Swarm has spread widely. The White Ghost team announced coming to aid and harshly criticized the Sherman Empire’s indifference to the vassal state’s life and death.”

Lyu couldn’t hold back a laugh: “Interestingly, the Sherman Empire has already accelerated military mobilization and might co to support Luofeng.”

Yang Ming sat up, muttering, “Has the White Ghost’s influence grown this big?”

“It’s mainly public sentint,” Lyu explained, “The Sherman Empire, due to its political system, is already under attack in international opinion. They pay great attention to dostic opinion, and what the White Ghost said isn’t wrong.”

Yang Ming chuckled, stood up, and donned his combat uniform.

The Insect Swarm could arrive at any mont, and he couldn’t afford any slack.

After ten minutes of cooling and restoration, most of the Feinan’s functions had returned to normal.

Once Yang Ming sat in the captain’s chair, he had to start contemplating two more rather tricky problems.

First, how to resolve this hidden threat if they survived this crisis.

Second, whether his romance with Hera would be affected and impacted by this event.

Hera was very intelligent.

What worried Yang Ming most now was Hera learning the truth and being unable to adapt.

Yet regardless, Hera, as a party involved, actually had the right and the power to know the truth.

The Feinan cut through uninhabited space, prepared for instant transition, and for the short ti could only jump once.

“Boss, the Insect Swarm is preparing to jump.”

Yang Ming nodded as the Feinan began synchronizing its coating.

The black box containing the examiner floated beside Yang Ming, and the examiner, fiddling with the edge of the black box, watched Yang Ming busy with interest.

Once Yang Ming took a break, the examiner spoke up first:

“Have you thought of how to handle your queen partner?”

“Still have no clue,” Yang Ming glanced guiltily at the corner; Hera had curled up on the couch asleep with a blanket placed by the chanical guard.

The examiner laughed, “I can actually help you… but I need a promise from you.”

“A promise?” Yang Ming squinted with a smile, “Aren’t you bound by rules? What kind of promise do you need from ? What aspects do you rely on an ordinary human like ?”

The examiner clicked their tongue softly, “You know what we are pursuing.”

“Death,” Yang Ming said, “You insist that only death can grant complete life aning.”

“Yes, you haven’t forgotten our conversation. It makes

feel encouraged.”

The examiner sighed lightly, “To be honest, we are already tired of this mode of existence. When we endlessly ponder, endlessly approach the universe’s truth, and then, having obtained the answers yet lack the core questions, we constantly fall into confusion.”

“Death is a liberation for us, hence we earnestly hope you can pass the five assessnts.”
