Chapter 367: 173 Between the Glimrs_3

“My device might work,” Hera whispered.

026 swallowed nervously, her face taut as she piloted the escape pod at full speed.

The boss would co.

He definitely would.

Hera grabbed the control panel of the device, pressing her lips tightly together.

The swarm of insects charging toward the escape pod, fearing perhaps to directly smash the target organism, began adjusting their speed to encircle the pod and maintain relative stillness.

The insect swarm surged forward.

Hera pressed several buttons in rapid succession.

The device strapped to the back seat emitted a series of biological signals.

Suddenly, the surrounding area fell silent, each insect vibrated its wings, hovering, with a slight confusion emanating from their eyes.

“Amazing!”

026 almost jumped up, hurriedly saying, “Keep them all outside!”

Hera murmured, “I can only use it twice.”

“Uh, because there are only two devices like this?”

“Yes,” Hera replied, “This biowave consus microorganisms extracted from the insects’ bodies, and my technology is still immature.”

The insects around them began to awaken.

And more mature insects surged from behind.

026’s lip twisted slightly as she quickly said, “Delaying them ans our chance of survival is much higher, we work together, I’ll start the countdown… five.”

026 raised her hand and activated the ergency space suit installed on Hera, enveloping the two of them in a thin light mbrane.

“Four.”

Hera gripped the control panel tightly, only one button left.

“Three.”

The surrounding swarm surged in like a tide, their ugly and terrifyingly robust bodies already blocking the starlight from the outer space.

“Two.”

026 pressed several buttons in a row, and the escape pod suddenly powered down, she reached out and grabbed Hera’s arm.

“Activate the device!”

Hera imdiately pressed the button by her side, sending out the biowave again, plunging the swarm into ten seconds of silence.

The escape pod’s hatch above ejected, emitting a large amount of gas, propelling the two seats out and shooting ‘upward.’

The propellant beneath the seats quickly depleted within seconds.

026, having unbuckled her safety belt, swiftly freed Hera from her constraints, holding Hera tightly in her arms.

A faint halo erged beneath her feet, the rocket shoes she wore for fun now provided a bit of thrust, pushing them toward the top of the swarm.

The swarm began to revive.

The escape pod was ripped apart, and without a device to connect, 026’s chanical spine lost its glow.

Mature insects raised their heads, pursuing 026 and Hera.

Through the space suit’s light layer, 026 pressed her lips and gave Hera a small smile.

Hera frowned slightly, instinctively trying to hold onto 026, but 026 was quicker, pushing Hera upward with all her strength from her chest.

Hera gained new montum.

026 began to fall backward.

‘026!’

Hera’s shout couldn’t penetrate the space suit.

026 gave Hera a gentle wave, curling her body as best she could.

Several mature insects swung their bladed limbs.

‘Mr. Yang Ming, this is all I can do…’

‘Thank you.’

026 pressed her lips tightly, closing her still-clear eyes.

A faint glow erged on the spine of her back.

“Device connected.”

“Particle transmission initiated.”

It was Little Lyu!

A beam of strong light flashed, and before 026 could open her eyes, her figure vanished!

Two bladed limbs pierced through the phantom!

Four deep purple ion beams sliced through, causing a series of explosions in the swarm below!

Witnessing this, Hera looked up sharply, focusing on the source of the strong light and ion beams.

A multicolored light cluster sped through the cosmic space.

In the light cluster, Feinan had begun to decelerate, and on the back of Feinan, a crimson cha knelt, clutching the deck with chanical hands.

The specter struck!

Yang Ming’s cha leaped up, butterfly-like fla trails sprouting from behind, crashing into the swarm surging beneath Hera’s feet.
